  1. - I dont know the numbers, I chose bear cuz I liked him plus he gives defense I guess stag can also be good. But the aoe with attacks is not what you really want tho, most of the situations you aoe with spells and you just want to end one enemy. You gotta test it idk how the damage will be. But I bet he is viable too. - I do not know the numbers but it synergices well with the spiritshift ability adding a good damage. It procs when your character is below 50% endurance, not hp, and so far it does decent damage and i think the damage scales with lvl or maybe with might, but it scales somehow. - Slow, you want to cast your slower spells at the start on the battle. The heals are fast tho. ANd yes I just changed to a medium armour, I was with heavy armour because it was by far the best I had. I think Druids are meant to have MEDIUM armour, for lore logic or because thats how class was created. But everything you do in as a soloer has to mean something, have one pruporse, fit into a bigger idea and synergice with your build IMO. I hope I could help
  2. Im gonna try a solo ROgue too in PotD and I dropped intellect too. Dont be so obsesed with what people think the game i think is too complex to have a cookie cutter build... Its all deppending on what you want your toon to do. If you solo you gotta sacrifice stuff thats obvious, and despite a brilliant carrer on one of the better universities sounds good, dropping intellect would allow you to get more physical defense. And considering bonus stat of items cant stack you will eventually get a good item that raises your intelligence a little bit so its not that bad. Gl on the solo run!
  3. Game needs a socialist faction that have already invented the Ak-47, Imagine it, pew pew pew ! Die you damn shades! Pew pew... And so on.
  4. Ok its obvious you dont get rpgs, they arent walking simulators, despite some are like that, they follow a basic of Challenge and Reward. The higher the Challenge the most satisfying is the reward. If you cant take the Challenge expecting a reward you shouldnt play easy as that. You may try with other easier games that dont get you so frustrated and mad
  5. Game tends to work like this at least as solo: Devs had really thought about the balance in this game to the point that new zones always are almost imposible to clear completly with your current level, but yet there are always enemies you can kill and advance until you quest and get some more level. I guess this system is similar if you play with a 6man party, you get to a new zone and the challenge is too much that forces you to quest a little. I like it despite all threads saying that game is unfair and unbalanced. Welll why should it let you beat the game easily? I said before game was getting easy, well it doesnt seem like that anymore. It may be just the Main Quest. I find that quite logic so people not so experience in rpg can follow main quest and gather some level if they are stuck in some place. I prefer to do the opposite,
  6. Are you being serious? Trial of Iron and no death rulesets should always be played blind, that is where the fun is, not metagaming your way through every fight like a noob. Seems to me this game is just meta gaming, die, meta game, reload, die meta game, reload, visit a wiki, cheat, die, reload meta game. The gme warns you not to go there yet you go and die and then blame the devs. People is so used to auto level that its disgusting. They even consider that no auto levels is a mistake from the devs.... I really pitty you because you cant enjoy decent games that dont thread gamers like idiots.
  7. 2nd floor first bedroom at your left. Rules are no faping and no pillow fights.
  8. How are rogues in therms of sneaking in getting one or two targets and then disengaging? Do they really have enough dps compared to casters?
  9. They said it would be possible to solo the game. They didn't say the game would be fairly balanced for it. Im not saying I like it or dislike it im just throwing facts there. I dont really care about balance, balance is ****in boring. Nowadays it seems all games must be balanced. **** that. If something is op let the people that want the easy stuff play it and be gone with it. Others players will prefer to play with negative handicap if that fits better with his idea of videogames. Idk why a rpg should be balanced. Now THATS an opinion see the difference? Kisses.
  10. FInished Act II lvl 8 almost 9... Cleared almost everything I could clear, I didnt do all the quest in the citiy since I didnt want to ally with everyone. Game turns easier in the mainquest even as soloer. Way too easy. The only problem is that I get out of spells too fast since there are a lot of enemies for someone without Mechanics skills developed to sneak in. The game is amazing on the other hand. I love its main quest. ANd I dont tend to really acre about the main quests on rpg games, Im always more worried about side quest development.
  11. Why would hitting the cap make things harder, other than you just not growing stronger? Pretty obvious if there is a lvl cap that means when you get endgame you are supossed to beat guys that are meant to be difficult for a high lvl 6man party. And you are only one.
  12. My concern was to be affected by one of these stat bugs... After all I suffer getting to this point, it would be frustrating that I couldnt be able to beat the game on a legit way but I think my resistances are also legit.
  13. Gratz and great guide but you are missing something, could you screen shot your brave hero Character Sheet? Gl on that final boss
  14. So. this happens even without saving/loading? What do you mean? That item at least increases the stat on each fight u get under 50% endurance. If u save, your game saves your character with that "corrupted stat" at that point. . But it doesnt corrupt all the files. The bug actually works pretty nicely to be honest xD Its just the game adding stat over and over again without control. It Shouldnt be hard to fix. If you load before your stat was increased by that item you are normal and good to go. I dont really understand your question. What the item does is to add intelligence +2 each time you get from below %50 endurance to over 50% endurance, nt else pretty simple.
  15. Fortunately, we already gathered almost all the critical information on how to perfectly reproduce almost any of the bugs. This makes it a lot easier for the devs to fix these bugs. I have been programming mods for several games for almost a decade now and I can tell you that most bug reports done by players are next to useless, as they tend to leave out context-critical info. This is fortunately not the case here. Yes, it is usually pretty obvious when reading player submitted bug reports concerning technical problems which are from players who are professional software developers or modders and which are not, but we must remember that everybody submitting bug reports in the first place are trying to be helpful within the limits of their experience, and as a developer myself I would always much rather receive nearly useless bug reports than no bug reports at all, since as infuriating as they can be to deal with, knowing that there is a problem in the first place is half the battle. Too bad that the other half is the hard part, but well, you can't have everything. I found out that a certain item that increases +2 intelligence when above 50% endurance, stacks the int stat once you go down 50% endurace and recover it back to over 50%. As a Result my character got over 100 Intelligence. This item is Drinking Horn of Moderation. Idk if you found out what causes the stat modification or not, or if this problem of mine is related or not, just wanted to share it here.
  16. http://imgur.com/a/CBpH5 HEre we are. THats my whole character I presume. I believe game is soloable in Hard for more than one class and we'll se about PotD. Those stats are only with items etc. No FOOD no Room REsting Bonus. I was carefull with that. Well main weapon is still missing... Since it doesnt reall give any more bonus. Same with resistances and so. Do you really want those?
  17. Oks, I will write the stats of each item instead of screenshoting every single one but I will screnshot the main stats and so on. Give me some minutes. Btw what are those screenshots from, whats that mod? Could you link the source?
  18. Biggest problem you will face without Might is to clear fast enough enemies... FIrst enemies are easy they just attack you, but there are enemies that u need to kill fast, and in big amount. Thats the problem I see on the chanter. ANyway keep posting here please and I will love to hear you beated act 1 and you keep doing well with a Chanter, its a class I love.
  19. For the guy worried about me getting perma stunned, I already got in those ugly situations... Yet I was tanky enough to survive and my fire godlike conditions normally helped to end the aggresors. Yet, now I got lvl 8 I got this talent called Body Control that grants +10 defense against apralyzed Petrified Sickened stunned and weakened attacks. Im less worried about the Mind Control ones such as Control Confuse etc because that prevents you from attacking but also enemies wont attack you since you are out of the combat. Still Its a posibility if I face enemies that require a powerfull mind. Mens sana in corpore sano after all.
  20. That makes more sense ty for doing it yourself. Ye its not the BG1 system but it rewards a little bit. COnsidering atm im lvl 8 and I need 36k to get to 9, I dont think its much an improvement. More considering as a Soloer I cannot do the Stronghold task that you can comand to any of your companions where you get 10% of the xp for that task. Or thats what I figured out I really didnt try it.
  21. I want to hear more about PotD since I will try to play that difficulty on future games. But im afraid I dont think its posible, you will get one shot by the poison of a single spider. Yet I want you to sucess because I will try too
  22. I really didnt do the math cuz I was told game wasnt like BG1 were soloing was actually easier. I didnt care and I found it more like a challenge instead of a way of breaking the game. I will do the math next mision and compare, if you are certain, if xp splits between characters or it doesnt, which I doubt because then I dont think any of your characters would get to lvl 6 spells by the end of the game. If anyone else can give us some information about the rewarding xp on quests would be great.
