To which statement are you referring? I suspect the bold one... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah... so... I still agree that there aren't 'special' crystals in K1 that give major bonuses, including the downloaded content ones for the Xbox. Like you said earlier, the *name* crystal dwarves those in comparison... well, maybe it doesn't dwarf them, i just like the sound of that phrase, but it still makes them look lackluster.

I agree with Unabomber that sparring with the handmaidens on Telos was the hardest battle. On the last set of the sparring event, five handmaidens start punching and kicking you, and you have to use a melee shield after every one of your attacks, because they knock them out so quickly. The first time I beat them I used the force whirlwind and it threw them out of the arena, like you can do at the mandalorian base in the fighting circle. After the whirlwind spins them around a few times, it throws them five feet and usually out of the ring. Of course it's possible to beat them without the whirlwind, but it then becomes one of the harder battles in the game.

It seemed like as soon as you fixed it, somebody sabotaged it. I definitely lost some IQ points because of it.

To which statement are you referring? If it is the one where he said lightsabers in K2 are weapons of mass destruction, i partially agree with him, because there are so many upgrades that make the lightsaber better (e.g. focus lens, emitters, crystals, power cells). And about the ones in K1, i agree that they couldn't be made into amazing weapons of mass destruction, even with the "special crystals" But (i will say it again) the true weapon of mass destruction for me was the force lightning, because you could kill everyone in a room at the same time with one shock if your character has enough wisdom. And lightsabers just can't match up to that.

Another explanation, although unlikely, might've been that Kreia was saying it metaphorically, like she had killed a lot of people and seen their death and blood... but i don't think thats it... so nvm

No. One can't pretend to be that stupid, it just isn't possible. The stupidity of Jar-Jar is beyond understanding for anybody, so one wouldn't be able to invent such stupid ways to act.

Agreed Stargate. I'm guessing that it would have been a much better game. But a big factor is making money, so the company's decision to release it earlier makes sense if they felt they would have as many initial sales by selling it earlier as they would've by waiting. And they were probably right. But in the long run.. if there were better reviews.. i don't know, they'd have probably made more money. but the long run doesn't matter if they can make that much cash so quickly, and then that cash will fund projects that they can choose to spend more time on or not, depending on how much money they have. I'm not saying that the developers necessarily wanted to release K2 that early, but there's a lot of pressure to release highly anticipated games as quick as possible, so there ya go.

And if you find that too easy i recommend my personal favorite, trying to play while doing a headstand, singing loveshack, and balancing kitchen knives on your feet. jk , just trying to lighten the mood.

However, there were so many different atmospheres to play in for Taris. For instance, the undercity and sewers were different than the upper city and lower city, and you could do a lot of unique things in each place. I don't know for sure, but it seems hard to hate ALL of those places. Also, like people have been saying, Taris is more interactive in the social department, which made it more fun for me.

Well, there ya go. I understand why Peragus wouldn't stop you from playing the game if K2 is the only kotor game you've played. If I started out with K2 I would probably have the same opinion, because the idea and gameplay of Kotor is amazing. But after playing a really really good game (K1) and then coming to the sequel (K2), the thunder was already stolen.

Actually, i enjoyed Mandalore because of his dexterity and constitution. he was as good with blasters if not better than everyone else. But I usually have at least two jedi per party for twice the force powers.

It makes sense that if Darth Sidious couldn't be detected by the jedi council in episode 1-3, then Atris wouldn't notice a similar sith lord such as Kreia

The game should definitely have a better romance factor, because that adds a lot to the plot and game appeal. Other than that, i think a good idea would be to destroy your party members and then say it was an accident to everybody else.

You'd think that it would naturally taste bad and therefore cause you to stay away from it. if i was a kid in that tribe, hopefully i would see that my tribe was crazy and go run away and try to survive on my own. but once i would realise that i am not capable of doing that, i would have to end my misery by jumping into a petrol burning bee-hive hole

Wow, peragus was horrible. I kept saying to myself, "its going to get better, it has to get better." and for a short amount of time it did, then the ending happened (or didn't happen). Peragus was three times worse than the endar spire in K1, let alone Taris. It was too long and boring and wow, couldn't you just mine your way through one of the walls to get to the ebon hawk? yes, you could.

but i couldn't kill them after that... which is why i was saying i must've done something wrong when i force persuaded the first time about the toll.

GoTo is so dumb. wow... what a dumb idea... I like how you are forced to have Mandalore in your party on the Ravager, because you see that he is actually pretty good. But they don't make you need goto in your party... He's worse than having a floating round piece of poop with metal arms sticking out in your party. Also, Hk-47, wow, they messed up by cutting the droid factory out.. because that would've developed his character a bunch more... but i never use him, and he is weak and doesn't do anything special. In K1 you need him to translate for you, so you had to make good use of him, but in K2 he is a walking rusty turd-stick.
