Yes, there are several instances where the existing card art was not going to work with the cutscenes. Every character that can appear in cutscenes got a facelift or complete redo. Ilsoari, Maester Grump and Pillbug are good early examples. You can't see them yet but trying to make all the stone giants match each other and also look 'right' next to the iconics was quite the undertaking

A producer is responsible for making sure things get done. Generally they are as not hands on with the game itself.

Maneha was a fun character to design because she is worldly, traveled and sociable... but also, technically, a barbarian. A more conventional image of a barbarian might be someone wearing battle trophies or skins and skulls or whatnot, signs that they have barbarianed the heck out of some big critters. Maneha is very capable of that, which is why she has that big ol tooth or claw necklace on top of everything else, but I thought the places she has been would have more visibly affected her than the things she has killed. So, as someone with a predisposition for bling and a preoccupation with memories, everywhere she goes she picks up a shiny souvenir and finds a place for it.

? All the screenshots are legit, if not a little old in some cases. -
We have different effects per damage type, made by the incomparable Andre. You can see one example in this screenshot.

There are six background paintings on the website to look at for now. Those are ones I did more or less from scratch. Most things in the game are based on existing art from the physical card game, but due to the fidelity of tablets and for the sake of visual consistency I have had to modify everything. Most of the time it is taking a piece of art that is of an appropriate scale and level of detail for a card and doing something like this Some things are less obvious, but as I like to say I've fleshed out a lot of maps and I've also had to tweak things in character art to have consistent eye lines. You can compare screenshots with the original maps in the pnp books, and the Iconics art by Wayne Reynolds if you like. Some character art I've redone completely, but we haven't shown any of that yet to my knowledge. So, lots to look at but you'll need to squint
