I'm sure that has to do with the amount of money the government puts into sports.. It was a great olympic games for Canada there best finish ever .. 24 medals only 1 behind the U.S. and also counting they should have done alot better in men's hockey and had 12 4th place finishes in total .. Everyone will have high hopes for the 2010 Vancouver games. It will be a lot better the tv coverage for the next ones for all the north american's too. Right now watching taped events or waking up way to early wasn't fun.

Man just finished watching that episode yes I had to tape it.. It was Sayid's turn to shine I though he would at least rough him up a bit more with the dentist equipment .. Indeed what a great day for Canada I thought the new short track pursuit speed skating was pretty cool .. Yeah can't say I'm a fan of male figure skating either but since Canada won a medal good for him ... Cross Country pursuit is interesting to watch can't say I ever tried cross country skiing .. Downhill would be cool to try but one you gotta have some skill two gotta be a bit crazy in a daredevil sort of way .. Can't say I have either

I was surprised that there was no thread of the olympic games that just started in Turin So I 'll ask you who is watching and if so what sport! If not lets here why ? I enjoy a little bit of every genre of music, ohh back in the day in junior high it was Public Enemy, N.W.A but now rap or hiphop is more about booty shaking but not many of the artists are saying anything new . Common is a good artist people should check out , even Kayne West I enjoy

It was a plesant surprise the first time I watched it and I have enjoyed the second season as well.. The character development is done very well. Each of the characters have their own issues amongst the bigger issue (war , and the possible extinction of the human race) Lots of suprises to finding out who will be the next cylon etc..

Well the way the rookies are all playing is quite exciting this year . No question Crosby has been very good but Ovechin has been better then everyone thought he would be he number 7 in overall scoring and on one hell of a goal scoring pace.. My node goes to him for rookie of the year .. Other notable mentions go to Lundqvist, Svatos, and MR. PHANEUF. Why does everyone seem to forget about him he is a defenceman which is a harder position to play .. On Calgary he is playing in all postions and logs lots of time on the powerplay.. and has played alot without his regular partner Hamrlik - He will get second place votes he is 16th in defensive scoring with 30 point not bad and he is a plus three and on that note Phaneuf got an assist on the first Calgary goal ..

I agree with having aleast some proportional representation so votes will count in areas of the country that tend to vote the same - True True more people would vote perhaps if they felt there vote counted more Agreed Canada is not breaking any rules of Nafta .. Just because the U.S feels there industries cannot be competitive , that doesn't give them the right to break the rules.. Although Canada shouldn't be too trade dependent 90% is too much any sudden changes could be bad for us.

and the battle is set for the Superbowl in Detroit , who would have thought both Pittsburgh and Seattle would make it but hopefully it will be an interesting game and not like the past superbowl snoozers I am banking on Pittsburgh winning the title
