Alright, another Albertan in the group. Calgary looks good with their top three defenseman ( Hamrlik, Regher,and I'll add Phaneuf to boot), but aside from that I think the blue liners are a little weak. Steve Montador? Andrew Ference? Rhett Warriner is kind of overrated, I think. The only thing I like about the Flames is that you can almost always count on the forwards helping out in their own zone. Thats what made Calgary so deadly in 03/04 and during that damned playoff run. Steve Montador is not a top six defenceman but can be dependable when called to perform as in the playoffs with all the injuries Calgary's d suffered. Andrew Ference granted can play at times but he does cough up the puck a bit too much !! But how can you call Rhett Warriner overrated he is a solid stay at home defenceman over the last 6-7 yrs that any nhl team would love to have and will be a great mentor for Mr Phaneuf by the way Mr. Kor Qel Droma what is your team

Well too throw in another rumor it appears that Buffalo is done negotiating with there defenceman Jay McKee With Phoenix, San Jose and Calgary at the top of the list Calgary would have a awesome defense if they could get him

Well I would rate it Attack Of The Clones Good but a little dragged out!! When you finish TSL you realize you are left with lots of questions! But not in a good way! The ending does not replace a good cliff hanger but shows itself as incomplete I did enjoy the sad music at the academy, but malachor looks bad and its not enjoyable at all... However the game does make you wonder what happened to Revan and his battle with the "True Sith"

the robes were way better in TSL however the headgear was still ugly, hopefully in a third one the robes and head gear/masks will evolve further

Well the U.S. is at least on the right track they are developing their own players in the MSL (I believe twelve teams) and as a rule a their association is pushing for soccer only stadium facilities.. Unlike the U.S , in Canada we don't have any true soccer stadium's and only a semi -professional league. Which is why Canada wants to get Toronto to join the MSL league but they need a stadium to do that!! So by the time that happens Canada will fall further down the world rankings oh my Although at an amateur level Canada does seem to have lots of kids playing soccer

The devestation that has resulted from Katrina is a tradegy for everyone in the affected areas!! Hopefully with the public outcry for the slow response that the necessary aid will get through and all the stranded victims will be rescued and evacuated.. The cost not only in terms of financially rebuilding a city but the cost of the victims who lost their homes, jobs, will be difficult and I;m sure with the uncertainly many people will decide the cost is too much to return and start over again.. Well I thought after lurking on the boards for a bit I would join this friendly community . Since I haven't seen a thread on soccer or football as the rest of the world calls it (outside North America) I wanted to see if we have any fans on the boards watching any of the leagues. For myself personally since the tv channel seem to play the English Premiership mostly (in Canada) I have become a fan however with Chelsea buying their titles lately its more interesting who with finish 2-3-4 for the championship league games... Arsenal was a favorite of mine but losing key players might cost them second. Manchester City and Charlton seemed to have improved and will hopefully make it interesting!! For the world cup it should be exciting to see who gets in with France in trouble for qualifying!! For me I cheer for Germany , although they will have it tough to make it too the finals again this time!! Anyone feel free to add comments
