  1. I know what I would call them. Dead. Ancient history. Certainly not today's "West".
  2. Missed this one. Closed for length. Someone can make a new one if they want, the topic is not off-limits.
  3. The reasons stated were clear. Use the PM function if you want to discuss moderator decisions.
  4. What the heck is this thread even about anymore? Closed for length and being entirely derailed. Someone can make another thread on the European Refugee Crisis as long as it holds to the forum guidelines?
  5. It seems to be healing fine, thanks for asking.
  6. NSFW but probably my favourite mashup of seperate movie scenes: http://imgur.com/gallery/puSpMs0
  7. I have now lost my ability to tell most of you apart. Thanks a lot, whoever started this thread.
  8. You're talking about irrelevancy in the grand scheme of things while participating on the forum of a company that makes video games. None of this place is ever going to relevant in the grand scheme of things so you might as well give up now.
  9. Moved to the right forum.
  10. But I like mine - I made it myself.
  11. Pretty sure they gave me enough narcotics for an elephant, but thanks. Oh and gratz to you Shady.
  12. Someone cut me open and stitched me back up on friday and kept me captive until last night. Not feeling too great. Got my deviated septum undeviated - so there's that, but there's stuff in my nose that I don't want to describe lest any of you are eating.
  13. Or maybe Light Side people know when it's time to let go and Dark Side people will claw and scratch their way back using only their hate and dark side connection? It fits.
  14. Can't blame Clone Wars for that. Comic books made that canon already a multitude of YEARS before they were even working on Clone Wars (and the same applies to Boba Fett). Side note: Clone Wars happened BEFORE Disney purchased LucasFilm as well - Disney had more to do with canceling the show than it did with making it. Rebels is their brainchild. No matter, they should just scrap that idea, you see Qui Gon only got stabbed and he's dead, why would Darth Maul who got cut into two survived and having robotic lower body, it's nonsense. That's what happen when there are too many cooks, it spoiled the broth. I feel that line applies very poorly to Star Wars, since the original movies were a mostly collaborative effort and were awesome yet the prequels were Lucas' lonely brainchild and are essentially awful in most respects.
  15. Starts out mediocre but gets better as the show progresses. Turns Vader back into the badass he used to be as he kicks butt without even trying.

  17. Clone Wars was better than the prequels by a margin so huge it's not even funny.
  18. Didn't he retire from the Batman universe because of the toll it took on his voice?
  19. Mark Hamill lost 100 lbs and grew 2 feet taller if he's Kylo Ren.
  20. While that makes sense, it doesn't explain why lightsabers went from weighing several pounds to an ounce.
  21. I was trolling the idea that was posited earlier in this thread that because the West doesn't assimilate other cultures but resists them the West is somehow inferior to cultures who assimilate Western cultures into their own. I mockingly gave it a completely different root cause that makes just as much sense. I actually disagree with the entire premise, however.
  22. Best Roti is Surinam Roti Massala with Snake Beans. John, whoever he is, can go suck it. I'm so hungry now...
  23. Which gives the fight more meaning. For all the backstory every little detail in the prequels has, very few of them have such meaning as Darth Vader being a badass by fighting one handed, or Luke wearing black throughout Return of the Jedi because he's in danger of turning to the dark side but at the end his shirt falls open to reveal it was always white on the inside.
