  1. I'd rather have K3 be centered around Revan and the Exile, but if it works it works. I was seeing something more like the Exile and T3 arrive on Coruscant as the Exile informs the Jedi Council that she's off to chase Revan in the Unknown Regions. She goes there (without T3 although he knows where she went) and meets Revan. After this point I haven't totally formulated what happens after this but there could be an awesome lightsaber duel set to "Duel of the Fates". I'm not sure on how the outcome is, but neither one dies. Then things take us to Tatooine where Carth and Bastila are gazing at the sunset. Bastila senses (with the Force) that something terrible just happened, and because of it's strength she begins to fear that it had something to do with Revan Eventually they do some stuff (I haven't completely formulated what goes here yet) You eventually see Revan and a Nihilus-mask-wearing Exile standing side by side in the ****pit of the Ebon Hawk (where you can either cut to the credits or have some big battle) I kinda wanted to see K3 look like EP3...
  2. Would they die in the beginning? If so, that's just as lame as mentioning they died during the opening text crawl. If they're to die, at least develop them for a bit for one last time.
  3. (1) So would you rather have Revan and Exile exist in name only, like Revan alone did in II? (2) Either that gives the devs more freedom or you need to expand on that (not being mean btw) (3) We can still use K2's Exile, even with all the Force Powers. We could then eliminate the whole 'level up' process and if we controlled a new Padawan, the Padawan could learn certain Force Powers at certain points in time.
  4. I actually would want the canon to be LSM Revan LSF Exile
  5. Maybe not sex, but at least a cinematic kiss or something like that No, no, no......NO. That's again lazy story-line design. Although, they shouldn't be party members, they should still play a vital role in KotOR III. Give them male/female voices (it doesn't matter in the long run if a few people think that they're not the "right" voice), so the main character can interact with them about their agendas. I wouldn't mind if one or both of them die during the course of the game, as long as it's in a blaze of glory, which they clearly deserve. Nothing would be more irritating than reading the first sentence in the opening credits as: "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III" "Revan and the Exile died during their campaign in the unknown regions. Now the Republic is at stake blablabla...". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. As somebody who likes to weave stories himself, something like what Paladin has suggested would be somehow...unforgivable. Why go through all of that, just to have both characters you played for hours and hours in the first and second games die within the first ten minutes of gameplay? That's just ludicrous, not to mention sort of insulting to the people who came up with both characters and wrote out the scripts in the first place. I like Mesh's idea the most though, it's got an air of KotOR about it that I really like...though a few alterations wouldn't be too bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I think Revan and the Exile should have a very big role in KOTOR III, especially with KOTOR II doing nothing but setting up their meeting after the destruction of the Ravager ("Admiral Onasi is standing by"). I actually wouldn't mind having both Revan and the Exile have a dual-PC role, where both characters are the PC (not 100% sure how it would work out yet). T3-M4 consequently has little choice when it comes to being a critical role, especially if the Ebon Hawk's still running around with a locked navicomputer. But even if it's unlocked, the little astromech droid has a big role. I also think HK-47 should be dumped on Mustafar for SWG: ToW's sake, but that's almost a side note. Carth and Bastila can be a supporting role, perhaps if Revan, Exile, and T3-M4 were to become unaccounted for after a period of time, and they soon become concerned. Perhaps Visas and the Disciple can make a cameo appearance (or maybe something slightly more if the plot calls for it).
  6. A LS Exile can wear the Nihilus mask, the moment when she becomes tainted by the Dark Side to become the new Dark Lord of the Sith. She and Revan then attack the Council, which includes a stunning CGI Revan vs. Bastila lightsaber duel where he kills her (something that will make EP III look mild in terms of heartbreaking). It would be the moment that makes the game (and flames LA's inboxes). I'm working on a fan-fic of how I think KOTOR III should go, but I'm still at the very very beginning of that
  7. ... and yet Qui-Gon Jinn basically kicks his butt up until the very end "
  8. Kreia's not showing up with Bao-Dur and T3-M4 and when she's s'posed to talk she's not there and everything just stands there and then I'm stuck, unable to do anything. Oh yeah, my only other save is at the beginning of the Atton-Twin Suns duel. Does anyone know this can be fixed or is it back to the prologue for me?
  9. ... and I guess there's a reason why those "Skip Peragus" mods are in high demand
  10. Peragus may have been a little better if you had a chance to save some of the miners
  11. I think a good comparison would be making "Grey" as "sitting on the fence". Doing certain acts will get you on one side of that fence, be it the lightside or the darkside. As we've all seen, several Grey Jedi can be labeled as lightside Jedi (Exile, Jolee) and darkside Jedi (Kreia, Count Dooku)
  12. If only you could have kept it in. It might have changed the course of the galaxy
  13. Only if you modify the other files will it affect them
  14. Peragus, too long and too lonely. Dishonorable mention goes to Malachor, which was a total waste of space thanks to its underused potential
  15. now that's scary <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and I actually got confused lol (unless that was intended)
  16. We like to stay informed on games we'd love to play. Now, we all hope LA and others are developing the KOTOR III that will put Halo and Zelda to shame, but actually knowing and hoping are two different things.
  17. They took the glory of Jedi away when you can become Jedi with a few mouse clicks. It used to be Jedi was a near impossible thing to achieve. Then people figured out how to do it, and then they allowed anyone who wanted to be a Jedi a Jedi with a few mouse clicks. The ability to be a Jedi was supposed to be tough and near impossible due to their scarcity in numbers at the time. I'll still hang in there through these rough times of the game. Maybe one of these days those devs'll get it right and SWG will be the best MMORPGs of all time... *wishes*
  18. Darth Maul's looks cool while Bao-Dur's looks like a Darth Maul wannabe, and he's doing a poor job of it
  19. I think Aquilaris is pretty cool, along with Naboo and Coruscant (it makes Nar Shaddaa look like the urban slums)
  20. I think there are too many loose ends that need to be tied before introducing a new PC, IMO
  21. Even though SWG is in... for lack of better words, a period of darkness (I like to say the period before the first Combat Upgrade as its time of prosperity), I'd still recommend it to others. I'm doing better in the NGE than I did in the CU
