  1. Going with the SW canon will make the developer's storywriting problem a helluva lot easier, as now they only have to write according to one background and not 16. Of course, there should still be multiple endings for K3, and there will most likely be a canon ending that will be used for reference in future SW works (assuming K3 wraps up the videogame portion of the franchise). Command & Conquer was known for having multiple endings, but only the canon ending became the basis for the next game, and (IIRC) the fans accepted that. Besides, you want DSF Revan for K3? Make some mods once it comes out Oh yeah, and I hope K3 has at least one makeout scene in it. One we actually see.
  2. And even then, it would probably be something like the KOTOR comics, with no significant appearance by the significant characters of the games, like Revan, the Exile, Kreia, and others.
  3. The Star Wars Galaxies original concept, y'know the one that was on the original drawing board but somehow never got implemented like it was s'posed to
  4. Yep. That clip game me new found faith in the group. "Almost there. Almost there." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... wait, is that a rope and a stick over that carrot? awww dammit
  5. You can basically wander everywhere on every planet (Tatooine, Naboo, Rori, Lok, Endor, Corellia, Talus, Dantooine, Yavin IV) except for Kashyyyk and Mustafar IIRC.
  6. I think I'd rather just be some Republic Senator who ends up in possession of the Ebon Hawk and T3-M4 (let's just say HK-47 is out of the picture to allow him to wind up on Mustafar some 3952 years later). T3-M4 can properly inform him/her of the Sith threat and the Senator's actions can influence the Republic in how they prepare for this threat. And on a totally different topic, we need a Mon Calamari who shouts "IT'S A TRAP!" at some point during the game
  7. Yeah, I guess your right. I just think it would be cool if we could some how fight in the Mandalorian War. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be best to portray in an RTS I think
  8. Isn't that basically K2 without the playable Mandy War flashback?
  9. If we have our own JM who we study off of, I wonder if we'd be able to customize him/her as well. If so, hel-loooooo hawt Twi'lek. Aayla-who?
  10. I stopped playing in August due to financial reasons, and now that I haven't played it in so long, going back doesn't really appeal to me... Which is weird because I became quite attached to my character...
  11. The Exile was the only Jedi who went with Revan and who returned to the council to stand judgement/trial. It wasn't ok for Revan to disobey the council, but since he/she never went back to face them its a moot point. BTW, as far as I'm aware LA have never said they were not going to do KOTOR 3 at some point, they just never said when. If you read what they have said on the matter what they seem to be saying is that they will be making the third game, but not yet. They have said they will only make two Games a year, which since one of them is for the Wii makes it unlikely KOTOR 3 will be out in 2007. My best guess is that after the hammering they got for releasing KOTOR 2 before it was fully compleated, they will only give a release date once the game is almost finished. That way if they run into any problems during development there will be no pressure to release the game on time by cutting content. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could anyone imagine K3 on the Wii? Imagine all the LS combos!
  12. Is this really true or another hoax <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> or try aging news
  13. I knew who the leader of this poll was without scrolling down and before voting... It's obvious G0-T0 wins all these polls
  14. I don't know. I like the idea of a SW RPG where you can be anything you like (bounty hunter, merc, etc) but KOTOR is about force-sensitives and they will always go with a lightsaber as their weapon of choice. Sure, you can use a pistol if you want but you will still get storyline bits about the lightsaber...that's just unavoidable.....partly because any Big Baddie will be able to resist anything you might throw at him save for lightsaber and/or force attacks. I do think we need to see better ranged weapons on the high-end (missile launchers and the like) but not for the PC, only for Soldier-classed NPCs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was picturing a Jedi that has a blaster as his primary weapon and the Force as a secondary weapon. ... and like you mentioned, certain Force-wielding individuals will be able to deflect the blaster shots, but that's why you have the Force, which is a little more difficult to deflect...
  15. If we are to start off as some new character, we should be able to have a lightsaber in the beginning but it should be a choice. For example, in this instance, I'll most likely want my character's primary weapon to the a blaster pistol, and being shoved a lightsaber that doesn't necessarily fit my character wouldn't be an ideal scenario
  16. A large number of people would have to agree
  17. I agree, hooded robes isn't the most important thing on the K3 agenda.
  18. uninstall? Anyway, maybe KOTOR III needs to be George's next project
  19. Star Wars Galaxies: Knights of the Old Republic The icing on the cake would be if it was handled by SOE as well...
  20. Quoted for truth. While Mandalore's character certainly isn't that of a romantic, he has a lot of respect for Revan (and a bit for the Exile). Shouldn't have been too big a deal to push that respect past the turning point and make it a romance. Besides, I've seen their base on Dxun. He's not getting anything there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly, but we don't know for certain that he's not getting any on Dxun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, mandalorians are spartan in space, so who knows <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But at the ripe old age Mandalore is in K2... I mean, come on he's like what, 60?
  21. Darth Revan is Peter Griffin (insert Peter Griffin laugh here)
