  1. Never had a problem. But i do Keep after i am done with all qeusts and zones before it, so it's level 5 party.
  2. It does. Do not lie Before post something like that i recomend check wiki http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Two-Handed_Style Or just use search on forum. Here were many questions about that
  3. That fight is really easy All you need is just get whole party to his bedroom, then pull em with any ranged dude from your party. Then while your party is in his bedroom killing those mages/knights and rest of his crew your tank(s) block doorway. That's it.
  4. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/74404-what-helmets-are-there/?hl=helms&do=findComment&comment=1620620
  5. I don't know is it before or after. But there are 2 near Dyrford Village where you do quest with that Cult.
  6. Didn't read whole topic. But I disagree with topic starter. This is different kind of game. And do not need that kind ofstuff. BG had those scripts, but BG's combat was also different. Imagine that you set "range" kind of script to your mage/priest/whoever. Some Shadow teleport to it. npc got hit, start running away. You trying to CC it or get it back to tank, but he running different direction and is LoS now.. Since combat here is different from BG this can end really bad.
  7. Playing at PotD. Feels totaly different from Hard. Where before i could just brutforce, now i need to use brain or just leave place for future. I like this kind of stuff. This not linear. In most of present RPG player is guided by game from point to point and if player have some issues, then it just tactic or little balance problems. Here you have open world (some of it at start) and you are free to go where ever you want. Have problems killing ghosts? Go kill wolfs and do other quests and come again later. At that point you ll have higher lvl and better gear to survive those dudes. I like it.
  8. Why can't you turn on PotD, IM and EM on your first run and crash things to pieces?!11 Are you serious? Do you expect that on your first run on some expert settings in crpg you will be guided? Those settings there for ppl who want challenge and knows game. There was camp location and temple where you was told how game works. After that use that. Or did you expect that game will tell you "That bear is gonna kill ya, run!". I remember bears in GBs. Those were hiting hard in melee. 1-2 hits - dead. On my first run i went Hard Mode, IM and EM. Then supidly died from wolfs somewhere at lvl 4. That was my mistake that i didn't pay attention. Also i realised that EM is totaly not for first walkthrough. So now i am playing on PotD only to learn game and what to expect in future when i ll be playing with IM and EM on.
  9. As tooltip says. It will fire only once at 75% 50% 25% per encounter. As i understood. In russian version it says more specific that it will fire 3 times at specific % per 1 encounter.
  10. On normal you can play with closed eyes and mobs will still die I would say that it's a waste of party slot if you build cipher as hybrid offtank/dps You are suppose to dps, to build concentration to cast spells. I am playin at hard and doing fine with 1 tank + pet who helps to block way for mobs. Anyway, you could use Durance, Kana or Pallegina for offtanking. Those are better for that job.
  11. I don't know how it will be in later game, but many spells early are like 5 meters. Plus some archers like to target wizard on pull for no reason For that i just took defensive spells in case something will fly toward my buddy
  12. For Cipher you need to max Int, Str, Dex. I wouldn't recomend melee. First of all if you went to glasscannon, then it's easy to die there. Second of all proper Cipher will often cast something. Aoe, debuffs, CC. So there is not much reason to put self in melee danger and move all the time to avoid being targeted so you can cast safely. I would leave melee to rogue which can kill things before geting killed and barbs which can become immune plus are more effective in packs.
