  15. The EA press conference is pretty lame. Not much new or interesting information and they're advertising a lot for already released products

  20. I got it through Windows update and everything has been working just fine for me. I don't use NOD32 or Opera though
  21. I've had a similar issue before on my wife's laptop. It was because the touchpad was set so that tapping it would act like a mouse click -- not so much a problem in itself but the touchpad was very sensitive causing it to click on things "randomly." I don't know if your problem is even remotely similar but good luck figuring it out
  22. Ah, something I just remembered -- you might be able to get Flex Builder for free if you qualify as an 'education customer'. I didn't see any but I'm not sure if there are extra licensing restrictions on it like Microsoft's education discounted products. https://freeriatools.adobe.com/flex/
  23. The Flex SDK is free to use and download. It's Adobe's Flex IDE that costs money but there are free ones that work fairly well. I'm currently using Flash Develop to learn Action Script 3 and Flex to make some simple games -- I'm still very much a beginner though. Flex is geared more at programmers and web applications while Flash is geared more at artists and animations.
  24. I'd say stick with XP until Windows 7 is officially released. You can try out the release candidate to get a good feel for what it will be like but it's important to know that MS most likely wont be releasing any bug fixes or security patches for it and vendors wont be officially supporting it.
