what do you mean by "8 additional adventurers" max party size is 6? -
how many total can you have in your party including adventurers and companions?

I understand you can have companions, as well as hire adventurers what are all the differences between the two?

There may be quests that require going places at certain times of the day as well, never know. Better question, why would you be opposed to going somewhere at night? if its darker its harder to see items on the ground, monsters, etc

ok thanks, so my question is, can you just rest during the night and only explore during the day? why would you want to do anything when its night?

Are there day night cycles in the game? because in some videos I think I saw the player exploring areas while it was darker?

thats what I was thinking, that tasks are like short quests or maybe "Quests" are story quests that you must complete, and "tasks" are optional side quests?

Are the same monsters always the same level? For example lets say I encounter a level 3 black widow spider (made up enemy name) at the beginning of the game. Would it be possible to encounter the same black widow spider at the end of the game as a level 12 spider?

BTW there s another wiki I found: http://orcz.com/PillarsofEternity It's not the official one and it's fan/community maintained, but it still has lots of cool info. I have it bookmarked as well in addition to the original one and I usually refer to both

Hey so I was planning on playing as a Druid, and I had a poll here: Best Druid Spiritshift? Which asked you guys whats the best spiritshift to choose But apparently people are saying that I should go with another class so I might roll a Ranger instead so am doing a similar poll to find out whats the best ranger animal companion Again, this site has a good overview of all the animal companions, I put summary below. The choices are: Antelope - has good defense Bear - has damage reduction Boar - can do lots more damage towards the end of a battle Lion - can do a terrify status effect Stag - has a melee AoE Wolf - Has a good movement speed Cant decide which one to choose. Am thinking either: Wolf, since it moves fast and will engage the target sooner Bear, since it will last a long time in battle, long enough for me to resolve it Though am open to other possiblities Anyway vote on which animal companion you guys think is best!
