Oh. I apologise, then. I thought we were still talking about HL2/episodes, and I haven't really played Half-life 1 so I wouldn't know anything about it.

I'm willing to bet they'll get a lame side-quest and nothing more.

The pacing was perfect? Are you kidding me? 3 hour long ride in the sewers, high speed chases being occasionaly slowed down by puzzles, then the game grinds to a halt for 25 minutes while we listen to all the characters say their completely irrelevant lines. Barney is the worst. I'm actually wishing he dies in Ep3.

Why the heck would they want balance? They clearly wouldn't update as much.

Oh, I'm not boasting. The reason I mentioned it is because... well, two and a half hours is nothing. Portal took longer and it sure as hell didn't get as much attention in terms of developpement. Also, EP2 is very slightly longer, but definitely more interesting.

I just finished Half-Life 2 Episode 1 in two and half hours, without ever playing the game before.

I did not find Half-life 2 entertaining. Or Episode 1. Didn't even bother with 2. So uh... discount on Portal please?

They're smaller, free and mostly buggier servers run by other people than Blizzard. Still, you're better off never ever touching WoW.

Most elevator rides weren't too bad... but the Normandy's elevator still gives me nightmares.

Thanks for mentioning Nexus. Now I'm trying it and its fun, I think I'm going to play a lot more Space sims from now on.

Complete with shiny weak points too. Not a very fun boss when you find out that its incredibly stupid and easy to dodge, but still awesome and somewhat troubling when he starts grabbing you. :D
