It's not about being cheap, it's about being poor and setting your prioroties straight. If you have a choice between cable and World of Warcraft... I'm pretty sure most people would choose cable. Well, I don't walk down the street in all black with red bandana's on... I think they handled this perfectly. alliance was better than XvT. Xwing vs tie fighter was just a series of missions that you could use that were designed for multiplayer, Alliance actually had mission objectives and new craft to toy around with. Also In alliance you get to fly the falcon down the Death star 2's throat.
