City of Villains
Not to mention that game masters were flying around AS police drones zapping villains who were too close to the hero hospital.

Your secret is safe with me, Darque.

Alternate Accounts?
ZING! Knowing alt accounts are out there makes things feel...hollow. I get it for mods, but board members, stick with one. Unless your Jefferson. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^eldar

Doom
The movie is better than the game; which isn't saying much.

RPGs in Production
Because I don't have Ender's permission and I don't want the respoinsibility of editing it anytime a new game needs to be added. If someone else wants to make a new thread I'll sticky it, or if I find the time to make and run my own, I will.

RPGs in Production
Not necessarily, I could edit it in. I won't, however. I might start a new thread, or if someone wanted to start one I can take care of stickyin' it.

City of Villains
Ice/ice corupter and energy/regeneration are my CoV beta main funs. Though I don't really beta much.

Latest threads deleted?
So since no one contacted any of us about the content of the threads that have disappeared, we should assume there was nothing wrong with those threads, and feel free to repost them? " Has anyone recieved warnings over the deleted threads? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. You should contact the moderator who closed/deleted it, or if you do not know which did so, another moderator. It could have been that no single instance warrented the thread's locking, but rather a slippery slope that either had lead or will lead to trouble. It could be that the moderator was in a hurry and simply forgot to warn any offenders, and decided later to not. You have to ask the moderator, or if you would prefer to not ask yourself, ask another to ask on your behalf.

Ignoring the fact that you are completely and utterly wrong, and completely and utterly incorrect. You are aware that this merits a warning, in following the rules set forth in the guidelines, correct? Don't like a moderator's decision? Contact them or a different moderator via PM. Number 2 way to make sure a moderator's decision isn't changed is to post in a topic about it. Number 1 is to make a new topic about it. We discuss things, rulings change. Ask Child of Flame. Don't like the current moderation team? Contact the Fionavar or The Guildmaster via PM. Another option is to leave the fora, there are plenty of them out on the interwebs. You break a rule, you get a warning. Welcome to reality.

City of Villains
The event was killer fun. I was zooming around on my storm defender on the anti-stalker squad. We loaded up on perception, and when we saw an incoming stalker proceeded to debuff them until they couldn't one-shot any of our squishies.

The SGs are not cross-server, so if we don't play on Pinnacle then we'll have to rename, etc... anyway. Some Ideas for a supergroup name: Obsidian Order The Idle Islanders (for the olden dayz) For colors, I think something to match the forum colors would be more fitting, although black and purple look great (my villain group uses it), I'd like to see maybe black and white, or black and blue, maybe even black and dark gray. What logo are we using? The giant O?

Something tells me "Super villain takes over Nackend Kansas" wouldn't escape unnoticed or headline free.

City of Villains
Yes, imagine how incredibly boring it would be to terrorize a small town. You show up to the super villain conventions and all the villains mock you. The City of Heroes is Paragon Rhode Island, a very large fictitious city in Rhode Island which is very large. City of Villains is a city in a place called the Rogue Isles, a chain in international waters run by an organization called Arachnos. Not all the zones are in the City itself. Croatoa, Striga Isle and Peregrin Isle are all outside of Paragon City, but are part of City of Heroes. As usual, your opinion of a game you've never played is completely absurd. For something ignorable, you sure do put a lot of thought into it.

I choose a theme and only pick powers revolving around it, as well, but I almost exclusively roleplay (which is why I went to Virtue).

Fly is the slowest travel power, you can't beat it in terms of maneuverability. Personally I love teleport, but with its horrible activate/deactivate "stay still" factor, it is probably the worst travel power. I like that while immobilized I can still move around via teleport, but other than that teleport provides the worst movement in combat. A lot of people go the superspeed AND super jump route, I had one character that had all 4 travel pools but I eventually dropped teleportation for the leadership pool. Anyway, I'd join up with you guys for the Obsidian SG. We could come up with something witty for a name, I'm sure. Could be fun, just pick a server and I'll create something for it.

City of Villains
I have an ice/energy blaster, people accuse me of power leveling him, despite the fact that I'd had him at level 50 since march of this year =/ Right now I'm splitting time between my peacebringer, warshade my scrapper, but I hate scrappers so it probably won't last long.

Virtue 4 teh winz! My global handle is @Slipshadow, and I'm taking on all comers (except Rad defenders, because they make me look gimp).

City of Villains
Well, it is different from City of Heroes a few ways. The Archtypes (classes) are played differently, thats for sure. The gameplay is very similar to City of Heroes (since it is uses the same engine), but it has quite a few new features.

City of Villains
This past weekend was the Gamespy "Stress Test" beta, and I was wondering what people here thought. I've been beta testing for a month or two, and I really enjoy it (obviously). The base building and PvP raids on other villain group bases is a lot of fun.

I say we nerf post counts. No posts should count. Ever. We should all be set to 42 posts, and then no more counting of posts.

The infamous... evil... unholy...
I'd post my picture, but my absolute secksayness would cause this thread to implode, beginning a downward spiral eventually eating the server, the Obsidian offices, and eventually myself. I'll pass.
