No, not really. The reason I'm worried about Robert's isn't his creditials or his scholarly study. It is Bush's lackey-placing philosophy. I'm worried that Roberts' may have a similar outlook and preside in a manner that keeps his loyalties to his friends, rather than what he knows is right. Is it likely to happen? Probably not, but that doesn't really alleviate my concern with the affair.

You didn't have to install it. The I6 patch had the entire game, if you had a preorder code, it was triggered to become available at 12.01am EDT. Anyway, been playing and while its fun it is lagtastic and annoying.

Firstly, I should point out I am registered and vote Republican (at least most the time). Secondly, its not the woman's politics that disturb me. It is President Bush's croney-ism, and the fact that on the questionaires the Senate Judiciary Commitee sent her were returned with one word answers and responses which revealed a lack of knowledge on constitutional law. It wasn't solely the lack of judicial experience, it was the combination of all the factors (croney, lack of experience and lack of knowledge). As for Roberts, he is a fine judge and I can't think of a better choice than he off-hand, but its not as if I follow the career of judges/lawyers. I can't recall the name of the lawyer (I think his name is Moore, but I can't recall) who was against the Court's ruling on the 2000 election on the basis of state's rights. I know that could probably be dozens of men but its 5am as I write this and I'm dead tired. Anyway, I know that Bush was considering him and did a little background on him and thought he'd be an excellent candidate; certainly much moreso than a croney.

Warburg is a neat concept with horrible, horrible, horrible implementation. Open PvP is one thing, Open PvP without a means to deflag yourself is possibly the lamest idea I have ever encountered. To make matters worse, there is non-pvp content in Warburg, which makes people who hate PvP but want to play the new content try it out, get killed (horribly) and then complain about it. Then you have morons on the forums making downright false statements, either out of ignorance or because they just enjoy ganking. Warburg CAN be fun, if you like PvP and are on a team. If you're not on a team, or you hate PvP its the lamest zone ever conceieved by man.

I'd be more likely to play my warshade, peacebringer or controller. They all rockzorz the big one!1!!!!11111ONE!! I've only rolled up 3 defenders in CoH; a Dark/Dark (who I got to 30 before deleting), a kinetics/electric (who is resting at 14 now), and a storm/Psionic (for when I'm feeling masochistic). I'd probably play with the storm/mind if we want ragdoll, because she has hurricane and whirlwind... she is the knockback machine. This City of Heroes rant brought to you by the letters C, O, and H! Essentially. She was never a judge, had no experience on the bench. Was by no means a legality scholar. Basically she was a lawyer, who Bush had known for 10 years, and that makes her an ideal choice for the highest court in our country.

The 2day head start has not begun, yet. I certainly cannot create a villain and I've already recieved my CoV DVD and upgraded my account.

Thank God! Honestly, I try to not reveal my person philosophy much on the boards (though it would not be difficult to disern), but this is possibly the biggest blunder of the second term, and its just getting started! Aside from the fact that dubya has been disastrous for the country, we're now faced with the reality that his incompetent policy will be responsible for at least 2 seats on the supreme court. I was running around on Training Room 002 as Quasar for a bit, until I realized it was nearly impossible to AS in the lag, so I played as my newbie ice/ice corrupter (Shivergloom).

Yes, the Agents were played. I talked to a GM friend of mine in tells for quite some time. The Phalanxers, I doubt it because I saw them in multiple zones at the same time. Its possible they were played by people, just not their real life personnas.

I am 99% positive the Freedom Phalanx were bots. Bots with, perhaps, better AI than your standard mob, but bots all the same. Everytime I ran into one they said one of their catch phrases, and followed a set AI path. They even said their "omg too many villains" lines at exactly the same health % everytime.

The first day was funny. Not funny "haha look at this," funny "what the hell is going on, why am I laughing" ending in people actually asking for user mods.
