http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Kn...he_Old_Republic Start with that. It branches out into a million other entries. If you're really interested in this stuff you'll spend literally hours on it. It reads like a textbook. -
It was mentioned in the game that the Exile drew people towards him, especially those who were strong in the force, since the Exile need them in order to use use the force through them. And they became his followers. Which probably explains why force sensitive always conveniantly crossed paths witht he exile.

Sorry but i forgot the names of the voice actors but......... Mandalore was great, he's real macho sounding, like a Charles Bronson type. Kreia was great, just plain spooky and sinister her voice was. The british accent definitely added some flavor to it. HK remains the funniest character in KOTOR. Comic relief in spades. His desire to kill meatbags mixed with his sophisticated aristocratic air. Sounds a little bit like the Car from knight rider. I didn't like Bao dur's voice too much though. He just talked wierd. Like he was whispering and whimpering or something I don't know. Gee I wonder what Revan's voice sounds like?

Like Ryan said, Wiki is a great source of knowledge of starwars and at least 90% of the info is pretty accurate. If you haven't played KOTOR I or II to the end, beware of spoilers and its probably best to not look at the site unless you've finished the game. Also, there is some interesting articles and links to other websites regarding the rushed ending controversy and cut scenes as well. There is also an extensive article on all the different light saber styles you can learn. makashi, juyo etc....I also found an article suggesting that Darth Nihilus was able to destroy all life on Katarr by using a "thought bomb" . The same weapon that was used to destroy all jedi and sith at the battle of Ruusan except for Darth Bane, who started the whole "there can only be 2 sith" rule. Apparently, some idiots want the Darth Sion and Darth Nihilus articles to be deleted. If you have an account, I urge you to vote in favor of keeping these informative and enjoyable entries on the site, and putting these a## clowns with nothing better to do in their place.

It may be possible that Visas actually became blind to the force as well, and uses herself as a cipher through others. . Since she was the lone survivor of a catastrophic event that killed everyone.(like the exile at malachor). And she has a force bond with Nihilus, like exile has a force bond with Traya. She also mentions how she longs to be with someone that also feels her loss, before the whole force sex thing lol. But she obviously doesn't have any leadership ability or ability to have people blindly follow her so I'm just talking outta my a**. Just one question though, if Kreia was also stripped of the force by Sion and Nihilus, how did she regain it?
-
I think they are the lost jedi because they won't be able to complete their training due to the Exile going off to the unknown regions to find revan, as well as the fact that the Jedi order is all but gone. They are also probably too old to begin training but I guess the Exile gave them a crash course.

1. I think Wiki is mistaken, Jerec can't possibly be a Miraluka. Aren't they extinct? Or did some survive on other planets? 2. The first photo of visas looks like she's wearing sunglasses or something. What is it exactly that I'm looking at? 3. Does the comic dwelve into Visas past? Katarr is a whole planet of force users, so is it safe to say that Visas was already practicing lightsabers and force well before being taken under Nihilus' wing? Perhaps even a Jedi? or maybe the Miraluka had their own force displine going like the Jal Shey or Matukai? 4. Does the comic give more insight into Nihilus' character?

Yeah, dark jedi don't follow sith teachings. I'm not sure whether I'm refering to the prestige class or just the sith heirachy, maybe they're one and the same. I'm just refering to really who's more difficult to beat in the game. I have a hard time believing that sith assassins are on the same level with everyone else. They don't even have ligthtsabers for heaven sakes! lol. But I guess they are more like "sith magicians" than lightsaber duelists, and concentrate more on using the force. Kind of like an old school sith lord, from when before lightsabers were invented. How about the guys you occasionally run into that have the word "elite" in front of their name? I remember facing an sith elite assassins and elite sith masters. Does anybody else remember this? Also, I believe the rankings of the KOTOR to KOTOR II are different. Or maybe the ranking system is different from Korriban to Malachor. I don't remember seeing any acolytes in KOTOR II. could be wrong though. I think either sith master or sith lords are top of the food chain with apprentices and acolytes being at the bottom. I don't know what's in between.
-
In KOTOR II, you go up against Sith Assasins, Sith masters, Sith Lords, Sith apprentices, sith this and Sith that. I just wanna know if a Sith assasin is supposed to be higher ranked than a sith master? I found all the enemies very easy to beat, so was for instance, a sith Master supposed to be more difficult than a sith lord? . Can anyone clarify how many different types of sith enemies there were and to rank them in order of difficulty?

Are plot floors the same as plot holes? If that's the case than I got so many. I think plot holes are things that are never explained, but not necesarily wrong, while plot flaws are inconsistencies and mistakes. For example, a plot hole is who was piloting the ebon hawk to rescue the exile from Sion. While a plot flaw is why did Vandar refer to Bastilla to a Padawan, even though she said she was almost ready to be a Jedi master.

Handmaiden and Visas
mrchallenge replied to WILL THE ALMIGHTY's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I rejected bastilla's advances in the first game, as well as Visas and Handmaiden's advances in part II. Am I the only one who did this? It's not like I made my character gay, but I just wanted him to follow the jedi code of celibacy and besides, none of them were my type haha -
Can't upgrade personal crystal
mrchallenge replied to mrchallenge's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thanx. I knew it had something to do with it. This is the first time that I'm playing using the inifinite exp cheat. -
I have a problem guys, and if this question was answered in the past I apologize, just to lazy to search. I can't seem to upgrade my personal crystal, every time I talk to Kreia about it she says the same thing but nothing else. I got it upgraded in previous games but only 3 times max. I know the whole drill of coming to her without the crystal and than she focuses it and than you reassemble etc.......Apparentl you can upgraded it 8 times and thats what i tried to do here but I've never upgraded it even once for my currentl game. I did use the infinite exp cheat and I'm up at level 40 something. Maybe this is why I can't upgrade it I don't know. And I'm not gonna be using the lightsaber glitch in this game either. I'm trying to keep everything legit, except for the awesome infinite exp of course lol. I'd appreciate if someone could shed some light on this, and I hope this is the right forum, it's kind of a spoiler is it not?

Age of char in k1 and k2
mrchallenge replied to Weaponmaster303's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bah! I guess your right weaponmaster. But that would really suck. I would be hugely dissapointed if Revan really is that young. I would hate to control some snotty nosed kid while playing KOTOR. -

mrchallenge replied to Weaponmaster303's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Weaponmaster definitely has a point about the maturity level of the characters. You've made me rethink my theory. Exile is definitely more "adult like" than Revan. But Revan being such a smart military tactician shows a little bit maturity as well. He's not just some snotty nosed kid like Anakin. I also think that the Exile was younger than revan because he served under him in the wars, and was about to take Mical on as his first apprentice... But of course that's not really a good enough argument on my part, only a gut feeling. Remember that the beginning of the mando wars to the conclusion of KOTOR II spans 12 years. So in order for Revan to be mid twenties, he would have to be about 15 or so during the start. Not quite likely. But yeah, the maturity arguement is a good one. Exile is perhaps as old or even a little older than revan. But I believe they are still both over 30 at the time of KOTOR II. Teenagers and early twenties is painfully young for a Jedi. Only Anakin was the exception. Also Jedi tend to get more powerful as they age and get more experience. And Revan definitely looked to be in his prime to me. -
I think the last option where Revan gives in to DS for the greater good was originally Revan't intent. But it didn't work out that way and Revan got too caught up and carried a way in the DS and became Sidious Evil.

This is definitely one of the better topics on the board. And an interesting debate. I like the way how everybody's discussing their differences in opinions in a diplomatic and intelligent manner. -

mrchallenge replied to abkhome's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Don't get all bent outta shape about people who rehash old beatened to death topics. You may be a veteran of the boards, but alot of people here are new comers so it's old to you but new to them. All topics eventually fade away....But 6 months later, some new guy will start the same post all over again. It's a vicious cycle. But still fun. -
Age of char in k1 and k2
mrchallenge replied to Weaponmaster303's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's really interesting that most people here our leaning towards Revan being very young. I remember the bioware board from way back when with a similar topic, where most people there thought Revan was late 30's diring KOTOR 1. So there apparently is a huge contrast in opinion. I think most Jedi achieve the rank of knight at the average age of 25 or so. It takes years of training. While a jedi master is probably about late 30's. Revan was indeed young during the mandalorian wars. He kind of led the youth movement. But by the time KOTOR II comes around, that's over a decade that has passed. Revan is definitely at least mid thirties by than. I think the Exile is probably a year or two younger. He followed Revan into the wars just when he was about to recieve knight hood and take Mical (the disciple) as his padawan learner. So assuming that he was in his early twenties during this time, He's probaly in his early to mid 30's by KOTOR II. I think this is the timeline: 3963 years before Episode 4: Mandalorian wars start 3960 Wars end with Malachor V 3959 The exile returns to face his trial and Revan and Malak start the civil war and proclaim themselves sith lords. 3957 Revan captured and mind wiped. 3956. The events of KOTOR I 3955 Revan travels to god knows where. Kreia attempts to search for him and is consumed by the dark side and becomes Darth Traya, and becomes head of the academy. 3953 I'm guessing that this is when Sion and Nihilius betray Kreia and start the shadow war with the jedi. 3951 Events of KOTOR II. So the total time period is 12 years. So Revan and the Exile are both over 30 by the time KOTOR II rolls around. Could be wrong though. No one really knows for sure. -

Is this canon info? if it isn't than it's not true. I think those ages are way to young for Revan. He was already an established, reputed, and respected knight when he fought in the mando wars. Probably almost a master. -

some one sounds a little PMSy today. If you don't like my posts then don't read or reply to them hahaha see how esay that is.... i started this thread as a joke to make people laughf. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which rather implies you've played the game a wee bit too much, does it not? I mean, if you didn't, then why would you? It's not that illogical an assumption to make, now is it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lord Tingeling, the difference is that your comment wasn't funny. -
Did Kreia fight in the Mandalorian wars?
mrchallenge replied to mrchallenge's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ok it's settled than. She was. However, she must have been the oldest jedi to follow revan. In the first game it was said that Revan appealed to the younger crowd. -

I think Revan was about 30 in KOTOR 1. Which means he was 23 when he started fighting in the Mandalorian wars. I think Exile is perhaps a couple of years younger than Revan. He was a very young jedi when he went off to war (In fact, I don't even know if he had reached the rank of Knight yet.).
