  1. You used a khukri for cutting wood?
  2. But I mean why not iclude a wizard. Why buff up when you can throw in artillery?
  3. Lol, thats what got me into the whole game in the first place...awesome game =) Hah! Good stuff. For ideas you might also look into the old pulp detective novels. Red Harvest The Big Sleep etc. Just for darkness and corruption without too much goth.
  4. Morgoth, BG is old, no doubt. But it's like reading Dickens...
  5. Because clearly THEY would avoid climate change...
  6. Sure, why not? It's not like you could give the money to Oxfam and buy a whole village goats. Which really would be neat. http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com/ProductItem....roductID=OU2612 (not the goats, but near enough)
  7. A trout in a silent black helicopter.
  8. Ah yes, I forgot. His comments that our interrogations were amateurish.
  9. I know we have to take this issue seriously in teh developed world, but teh developing world is what is really going to do the damage. India and China rising up the charts. And what can we do about them? Nothing. They need to surge their economies forward to keep down unrest. They won't stop because we ask nicely and they won't stop if we try to force them.
  10. Always take things as compliments if you are unsure.
  11. Most journalists are honest. They are also very very very lazy. They tell you the truth as they see it. They just don't bother looking very hard for the other more factually related truths that are out there. I'm a particular fan of op ed pieces aboiut warfare written by journalists who've never seen so much as a bar fight. And Sand, you ARE shaping Iraq policy. Every person here has within them massive potential for good or evil. To take one example, your criticisms could dissuade someone reading from joining the US Army. You just deprived the Army of a soldier at a time when they need them. Conversely you could annoy someone so much that they DO join up. You could send or withold letters of support to your troops out there.
  12. A trout in dark glasses?
  13. I had a big bowie knife like that years ago. Fierce damn thing. Never ever got used. Bought a folding knife. Used a lot more. My opinion is that if you buy one you're just learning an expensive lesson.
  14. I assumed you meant The Fish Brothers. And by 'back' you meant 'from the lavatory'.
  15. I agree with GD. We are overthinking this.
  16. Boring now! Night night...
  17. Sorry to hear you are ill. I believe the chief constable said it best when he observed that it was perfectly normal to have people detained for questioning and then released without charge in large investigations. My point is that you must admit the man's behaviour subsequent to the arrest is comical for someone claiming to have been stupidly arrested. As for being a police state, if we were he would never have been released! Torture, false confession, and straight to prison/firing squad.
  18. Sand isn't an alt. Sand's what Hades looks like when not viewed from the gutter.
  19. I agree with Volo.
  20. I just wanted to make my apologies, since I am going away on business and will be unable to keep up with the debate.
  21. Jamie Lee Curtis can't have kids. Or was that the joke? But hey, I remember this part from Van Buren! Legend has it she's a hermaphrodite, least that's what my brother thinks. That was just scuttlebutt that was intended to make men question themselves. Wintersun's glee is premature.
  22. If I was going to dump the weak and homeless I'd use a trebuchet. Seriously though, I don't see that this represents the way all US hospitals work. Possibly the ones in Thailand...
  23. But what we're saying is that if the firearms are intended to deter the government those are precisely the weapons that you would need. With regard to regulation I'm curious to know whether YOU personally think regulation would be a good thing, because as I say it should have many benefits in harmony with your stated objectives.
  24. I choose to be smug about the fact that if a new ice age occurred we could pull out all the stops and cook ourselevs to Tahiti!
