  1. May I remind you that homophobia is gay...
  2. http://liblog.libraries.claremont.edu/arch...camouflage.html I think we hould campaign to ahve ships mandatorily painted in razzle dazzle colours like during the war. It would be absolutely fething awesome.
  3. Never mind dog years.
  4. How does Burma being run by evil SOBs prove I'm corrupted?
  5. Hear hear, TA.
  6. Is that as in Fields of the Nephilim?
  7. Anything that is involuntary is going to be mainly unpleasant. Take note you Microsoft sons of .....
  8. Oh great. Another country where if we act we'll get accused of being after the oil. Thank God we've 'learned' from Iraq, and we'll do sweet FA instead.
  9. "The United Nations halted aid to Myanmar May 9 after the junta seized aid shipments headed for cyclone survivors. The aid included 38 tons of high-energy biscuits which arrived on flights from Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates." Makes a total mockery of the throwing money at it solution. Proof yet again that bad regimes cannot be solved by kind thoughts alone. Estimates today put the total death toll caused by the regime's indifference at 1.5 MILLION dead.
  10. Cheers, Gortho. Reading now...
  11. Recovered from the weekend. Having issues with the Government's attempts to crowbar Private/public finance initiatives into the Army. Basically we have to pay a private company to feed us now! Rather than have the Army do so. I know you might expect us to be happier with the new system, but in fact British Army chefs are bloody good. Whereas the civilian contractors failed to even turn up on one day! The thought of what these w*****s will try when we're supposed to be travelling, and having them fix our vehicles with them is just terrifying. Can anyone suggest historical examples of civilians supporting the Armed Forces well?
  12. How to Kill Kris Hollington Without doubt one of the coolest books I've read in a long time, as well as packed with good stuff about murder.
  13. Sweet Home Alabama. Which is surprisingly perfect for a sunny morning!
  14. Probably afraid of your black belt in jejeune mockery.
  15. My objection is no t so much to optimising your time. I'm professionally and temperamentally keen on that sort of thing, being very lazy. But what I'm saying is that for people who are just starting out all this talk is very demoralising. And on a board like this I'd expect most of the lurkers to be rather unfit. The best plan in teh world is no fething use whatever if it never gets executed...
  16. Less-than-lethal. It's a weapon, and being hit with it is BAD, but it's better than a bullet.
  17. So did it work well? I mean well enough to use on a nice summer's day?
  18. So it's fine if my non-religious cult does it? How exactly do you plan to make a non-religious cult? Walsh's easy to follow guide to starting a cult: First up, the whole point of a cult is having followers who obey your every command. Making such peopel is surprisingly easy. You need to aim to achieve a lot of secrecy, mysticism, and obedience. They all bundle up together. Having a heirarchy is good, both in organisational terms, and also in how close people can get to YOU the supreme leader. Ideally, once you have acolytes don't let anyone speak to you until they have been screened to an appropriate level by your existing acolytes. If any acolytes look promising, have them elevated to a higher status, and so on, installing as many levels as possible. As the number of levels increases make the lower levels more and more easy to join, while making the middle layers more demanding. You should aim for a gentle gradient of commitment, culminating in excessive commitment in the middle ranks. High ranks should be difficult to attain, but easy to retain except in competition from each other. At this stage and in an ever increasing spiral ramp up secrecy surrounding what goes on. This will help make up for the patchwork nature of your beliefs ("I don't understand, but then I don't have sufficient clearance") and will also help isolate middle ranks from troublesome outsiders who ask too many questions, such as "Why am I strapped to this table?" Pretty soon you'll find you have things ticking nicely along. Once you do the temptation to see exactly what your followers will do for you can be overwhelming. Just as a suggestion, have them break the human pyramid record. Extra points will be awarded if you can have some wear coloured robes, that spell out the word 'suckers'.
  19. Sorry to hear that, TA. I know how close attached you can get to a dog. Although I've never owned one myself (I can't bear the responsibility, as well as keeping irregular habits). I don't much about veterinary science, but I'm sure my mum won't beoffended if I reiterate the principles we've been using to help her: 1) High morale 2) Healthy eating 3) Gentle exercise 4) Being fired out of a cannon One of these is a lie.
  20. I have a friend who has the same problem. There are a lot ofd really good cinnamon (natural cinnamon) teas which give a positive hit. The other thing I do to wake up if there's no boiling facilities is chew raw ginger.
  21. I'm not really interested in fat burning. As far as I'm concerned the fat is going to do pretty much what it likes - and science seems to back me up on that. I eat and exercise to feel healthy, not to fit some abstruse notion of how I should look. Which is possibly the second biggest improvement the Army has had on me. I simply don't care what some judgemental **** says about me based on what waist size I am. Leaving that aside, I'm a fan of constant activity. The Army has a phrase for this - a 'sense of urgency' - and it means you do stuff fast and move quickly about. It tires you out, and at the end of a day, even without phys, you're often aching. For comparison, consider those third world chappies. They are fit as bastards, as the Ghurkas can attest, and they don't go doing HIIT in a poxy gym!
  22. Quote from the BBC:
  23. I'm a big fan of ublic education, even if my own was private (in fact possibly more so because of it ) What are the views there?
