I've got some kind of weird wheezing coughing disease. Possibility of mild zombieism. Also, looks like one of my older uncles has dementia. In the third world. Out in the jungle. If this was ten years ago I could've gone full Apocalypse Now and tracked him down. Now, I honestly don't know if I feel obliged to sort his **** out, and I also honestly don't know if that makes me a bad person.

I just nodded off slightly while reading this and imagined War 2030, and Putin begins implanting the brains of his current troll army into giant augmented voles. Firing teeth the size of fir trees in all directions. I love my brain.

Amentep just created the game.

I just had an idea: 'Someone is Wrong on the Internet' Named of course after the xkcd cartoon. I'm thinking some sort of board with maybe a ladder on it or some other much more complex and funny system. Each players has cards representing posting styles and gambits like "Mention the nazis"

Witcher 3 - The women actually look like women.
Walsingham replied to luzarius's topic in Computer and Console
I visited Poland and there were many women there who met my Western beauty standard's approval. I thought more than in the West, ironically. Mate, you're new to this, ain't ya? All females are as road dust on heels of mighty Putin. He that is simultaneously sexiest man AND woman alive. But not in a gay way. -
Security legislation that's poorly thought through?

Final objective for realism: women have to use 5 dimensional logic. -
Achieved reinforced three octave range, and I think I coincidentally identified the mystery key ingredient in coca cola - celery.

Mature discussion on LGBT/Feminists who want to censor games.

In DA women can shoot LIGHTNING FROM THEIR FINGERS. Is this a misrepresenation of women, portraying female sexuality as inherently dangerous, OR IS IT JUST A FANTASY SETTING? -
Part of the problem is that by moving left they were trying to appeal to the kind of people who deface war memorials and want to burn down London in order to end austerity.

I got read Victorian children's stories. And the original translation of the thousand and one Arabian nights.

Sorry. Fair question. My point was less that they couldn't offload the old kit. I'm certain there are any number of countries who'd be happy to get it. Which was in fact my point. The old kit is perfectly fine for most situations, and where it isn't then mass would serve. So why introduce a completely new and expensive line of vehicles? because you want to seem stronger than you are, and scarier than you will be.

Apparently the stated ambition is to build 2300 of the bloody things. Along with updating all the other armoured vehicles. By 2020. Which is clearly bollocks. China, with a relatively healthy, if unbalanced, economy is updating its military much slower. Not only can Russia not afford to update like this, while under sanctions, it doesn't make any sense. What would happen to all the other kit it will be replacing? This is a pathetic attempt by Putin to pose as a first rank military technologically. I think at most we're going to see a few divisions armed with this newer kit.

I don't know exactly what that gif is trying to say. But it's an amazing gif.

You'll need to be more specific if you want to know what will happen in a given country. For the US though, we'll save a huge amount of money assuming we reduce our defense budget to reflect our more conservative defense strategy. Because the rest of the World is like a sleepy friendly bear. It only causes trouble when you poke it. ...*sigh*

I have to say I ****ing LOVE this post Iraq "forieign policy is hard and we shouldn't do it" philosophy. What the giddy f*** do you think is going to happen if you don't shape events abroad?

The housing market is a perfect example of point one, post one. The British public are cretins. Two fundamental issues they want resolved: - They want to be able to buy and rent more affordably - They don't want their houses to lose value THESE ARE MUTUALLY ****ING EXCLUSIVE IN THE ONE MARKET.
-
My father had the best idea ever. He told me that I was too young to read a number of the books in the house. Naturally this guaranteed I read them at the first opportunity! However, I agree with GD. What the hell is wrong with society, where it's considered wrong to achieve excellence??

So, about 3,8 million votes and only one seat.Huh. Yeah, it's completely ****ed up, I'm telling you. What the hell is so difficult to understand? Stop trying to force the UK into your limited nationalist mindset for 30 seconds. FPTP makes elections fundamentally between candidates at a local level. _As we've just seen_ FPTP deprives top party hacks of the comfort of knowing they'll always be in power. Even the Prime Minister. Further, prop rep means coalitions where a majority party has to pander to the fringes.
-
I'm sorry, but Ed Balls losing his seat was a moment of almost perfect sweetness. The smug bastard helped crash the economy and was utterly shameless in denying it. A study in entitlement, condescension and hubris, he is no loss. I hope he takes the opportunity to return to the stone from under which he crawled from. Gordy didn't.

I've got to say, as a fan of George Orwell, you do deliver, Oby. What I find interesting is that oby rarely attempts to justify what Russia is doing. Note how it's always an attack message, shifting the discussion to Western policies, which by tehir very nature seem more real and raw. Depressing that so many people fall for this technique, but still fascinating. Woops! Looks Like I'm using the same approach...

George Galloway defeated! Best news so far. Although I'm sure the carpet-bagging fethwipe will only turn up in some other borough peddling race hate.

BBC Radio 4 Extra has a piece on BRIXMIS right now. Go to the BBC iplayer for online access. EDIT: @Cirdansk What precisely about North Korea's gigantic standing army, and all round brutality makes you think they're pussycats?

I'd watch that film. But make her bulimic. She can swallow tins of peaches in syrup, then puke on people. It'll be an homage to Popeye.
