I think that if you did it, you'd quickly get over your squeamishness. A good day's walking, a gun, a couple of rabbits, a jacknife, and a fire = dindins.- Finally found my planet
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/8758817...pport-life.html Lifeforms there will apparently be short, stocky, and a bit sweaty. EDIT: Maria Caliban already linked to it. http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showt...0&start=240- Planescape, Arcanum, you know what i mean
LOL. I guess so yes.- Big STEAM bug - don't blame Obsidian
So what in the name of muddy funcroc is the bloody file?! I have raised a ticket with Steam. We'll see what they say.- Crafting systems in offline RPG's
Fair play you don't like it. That's up t oyou. But it seems daft to resent it for making you do stuff. 90% of a CRPG is busywork. Why not let you have the silver sowrd immediately? Because you'll like it more if you put effort into getting it. Being able to custom tailor it is pure gravy as it lets you choose the abilities you think are most useful and relevant to your style of play. Yes you can end up dragging buttloads of crap around with you. The answer is prioritise and have a bit of goddamn self control. Unlike my housemate.- Night of the Giant Crab
I'm not messing with you! I thought crustaceans tasted bad as they got big. Spare space in the shells filling up with gunk and general old age. I guess it's different with crustacea that are naturally big. Crab in the UK is pretty small. Maybe two hands' breadth across. Although personally I prefer crayfish.- "Minimum reference to Al Qaeda"
Malc what's offensive about it is thousands of people dying and then twisting their deaths to serve a paranoid half-baked conspiracy. The 'evidence' offered for this conspiracy wouldn't convict a shoplifter because it ALL innuendo and 'surely this couldn't be a coincidence'. in spite of the thousands of persons who would have to be involved if it were a genuine cover up. Never mind the mountains of evidence supporting the offficial conclusions. And it's been debunked ten times over by far more qualified men than I. I read yesterday that a quarter of young Britons believe 9/11 was committed by the US government. That is royally ****ed up.- True crime 1
Are you drunk or something? I mentioned this in the OP. Or have you just not read the article or watched the video? It wasn't a normal British community. Gotta love the little kid giving out to the police as slaves are being lead away to freedom.- The funny things thread part 3
Homeopathic leak threatens catastrophe- "Minimum reference to Al Qaeda"
Yeah. 'Awesum'. Or offensive lightweight bull****.- True crime 1
I don't know. Are you operating under the impression that normal British people endorse slavery? You jackass.- True crime 1
Yeah, man. **** tha polis!- True crime 1
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/cri...orse-boxes.html 24 slaves, some held for 15 years, found at Travellers site near Leighton Buzzard. Police describe some as 'filth encrusted' with faeces, and dressed in rags. Obviously someone in that community had a shred of decency, hence the raids. But what about the others? You can't hide 24 people beyond the wit of suspicion. Not in a bunch of temporary structures.- Highly stylized, high profile role playing game.
funcroc, you keep doing this and I'm going to start expecting org charts and possibly a few CPM diagrams for the actual projects.- Planescape, Arcanum, you know what i mean
I think it's right and proper to be inspired by great games of yesteryear. But IP isn't a zero sum affair. I have confidence in Obsidian being able to create NEW and awesome IP. We just need to keep encouraging them in that direction.- The funny things thread part 3
Whoah, Krez. For a dope smoker you're not very chilled.- Night of the Giant Crab
Yep, "King" crabs. Im kind of jealous, over there they are overbreeding and here they they run ~$26 / pound. So you're saying they taste good ?I assumed they would taste poor, because of the size.- STEAM!
Steam games keep crashing. http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showtopic=58774 Obsidian gets enough stick for instability issues without being balmed for Steam foulups. Why the **** dd steam have to go with Cloud, which strikes me as the obvious villain here. I can only assume that opting out isn't actually opting out properly and is funting some key files.- Big STEAM bug - don't blame Obsidian
This keeps on happening to me in New Vegas, Civ 5, company of heroes. You name it. You check game cache, one file needs to be replaced. So you replace that file. Go back to game. Game crashes. Check cache. 1 file again. Seems it is affectinga few people. http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showt...p;#entry1142890 I mention it here because the pattern seems to indicate this is a bug in Steam, not - for example - New Vegas or Dungeon Seige. And I recommend that someone from Obz give them a thorough kicking asap.- Steam fails to validate 1 file
Walsingham replied to Funktion JCB's topic in Dungeon Siege III: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I've been having this problem a lot with abunch of steam games, icluding New Vegas, and Civilisation V. A search online brought up this 'solution' - http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/show...d.php?t=2058210 Don't use the steam overlay in game and don't tab out. I know. That's not so much a solution as a bigger problem.- What you did today
Well, because of the hot spiciness in the mouth. The flavour aspect. Never smoked a cigarette while sober enough to recall what it's like.- What you did today
Surely it would make more sense for those to be e-cigars?- Pictures of your games
Interesting review, SadExchange. Thanks for taking the trouble.- Movies you've seen recently
LOL. The two aren't necessarily exclusive. ~ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1356864/ Sweet dancing Jesus, that looks like a bad film. Although the critcs either love it or hate it, apparently. - Night of the Giant Crab
