I think your concept works really well to establish the PC early on, but it doesn't seem to get into major meta-plot, or answering all the questions from the previous two games. I think we need both. We need to establish a good strong PC with their own story, and yet answer the questions left over from the first two games.

I'm pretty sure it's not being released on any new platforms because none of the Obsidian crew are working on it. I don't know that it is impossible with emulation.

She is supposed to be uber-powerful, and obviously she seems to be a background character. She decided to sit on the sidelines in KOTOR:2, and hide when all the Jedi were in peril. If PCs were brought back from the other games, I think it should be characters that weren't the predominant driving characters. Carth, Bastilla, and Kreia were major driving characters. They had their games. If people return, it should be people like Jolee or Handmaiden.

How about this for awesome replay value? Don't have a villian. Have an antagonist. Pick a faction (say out of 3). You drive said faction, and the other two factions become antagonists. There is no pure evil, cheesy villian. Each faction really believes they are in the right. You have three potential antagonists, and 3 possible combinations of 2 that you can run into depending on what faction you choose.

No, I misunderstood you. And that's a better question. In that case, one group could side with Revan, and the other side with the Exile and have a showdown that way.
