A bump to keep the poll in plain view of everyone. And just for the record, I totally agree with Jediphile. (hehe funny name) He/She put all of my feelings into words.

She appears after the exile's meeting with carth if you chose the LSM backstory for Revan.

I never cheat, except to test certain things like item mods or something. Even then, I make a backup save then load it once I am finished testing the mod.

Oh, I didn't know about the IRC channel. I might pop into it sometime. Thanks.

I am creating this thread in the hopes that it will allow people to find other people to play the Pure Pazaak game with. If you're looking for a game, post here and maybe someone will play with you. If possible, it would be good if you post when you are logging off so people know when you aren't around to play. I'm currently watching Full Metal Alchemist then going to bed so I'm not looking for a game at the moment, but maybe this thread will take off. I think it is a good idea.

Eh... She looks all right I guess. Nice boobs though.

hehe... A simple typo, but so, so funny. -
Ah, I understand that now. I never thought of it that way. I always assumed fight meant physically fighting, not bickering as children do. I feel foolish now. :">

I tried to sell her.

Cause there used to be/is an occasional bug where if you did it last, and you reached that point where they tell you to go somewhere and wait/do other things, the game would never continue or something (you'd be stuck forever waiting). That's what I remember anyway. Beyond that...people just like to have somewhere to go/something to do while they're 'waiting'. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've never experienced that. I go there last and after I return to the Hawk after the scene with Kavar in the cantina T3 always stopped me going in and tells me about the message from Kavar/Tobin.

Someone said that it would be nice if you could persuade your followers that your way was right, and theirs was wrong. I agree with that 100% If I kill an innocent man and Handmaiden objects, I should be able to bs her and convince her that he was really an evil man and needed to be stopped. Something like "[Lie]I could sense the evil within him. The Force allows me to see such things. If he had not been stopped he would have gone on to kill hundreds of innocent people." Then she says "Oh I didn't know. Please forgive me, I trust in your judgement." Influence gain and also, you get her to approve of killing innocent people.

Lightsabers, the force, space ships, aliens, blasters, kolto instant healing packs... shall I go on or should we remove all these things simply because they are not in RL?

I am playing through K2 again and this morning I got to the part where my party gets captured by Atris. During the dialogue Atris will flourish the Exile's lightsaber if the player chooses one during the convo with Atton on the EH after escaping Peragus. I had this as an option to say to Atris. "I want that blade back - and I don't want to fight you for it." I may not be an English major, but that has to be the dumbest line I have ever seen. The person who wrote that should be smacked with a rotten fish. It's pathetic. <_< Why would the exile practically demand his saber, then say "and I don't want to fight you for it?" It makes no sense. What should have been said was... 1) "I want that blade back. Don't make me fight you for it." - You would have gotten the same dumb effect, but sounded a lot better. - Neutral I suppose - Exile can't make up his mind if he wants to be forceful or passive. 2) "I would like to have my lightsaber back, but I will not fight you over it." - This would convey that the exile has an interest in obtaining the lightsaber, but will not resort to violence to get it. - Light Side - passive 3) "I want that blade back. If you don't hand it over I'll take it by force." - This would convey that the Exile is prepared to resort to violence to obtain his saber. - Dark Side - forceful The only other two dialogue options in this node are both about the ship. Some paraphrasing here... "Give it back and I will leave." or "I'm taking my ship back. Try and stop me and you die!" [/rant]

Hey!... Who moved this thread? It was in general K2 discussion, not spoilers. there are no spoilers in this, unless you count "the Exile."

I'll take a fur coat, XXL

I always thought that the vaklu/talia fight was always after all the other planets had been finished. That's why I always went to Dxun/Onderon last, to keep from having to go back a second time.

Besides, it was Malak that caused Revan's capture and the end of his reign.

(w00t) I just noticed that... I'm not going to fix it either. It's too funny. -
In the DS version Revan can convince Bastila to be his/her apprentice, and in the end game sequence she says something like "All hail Revan! Dark Lord of the Sith!" .... or something similar. It's been a while since I finished a game of K1. The point is Sikon, that your version of events could have happened with a LS game, but I have failed to bring her back from the DS in a LS game and had to kill her to continue on to Malak. In a DS game she is actually corrupted and really becomes sith, Revan's apprentice. Even in K2, if you choose a DS Revan backstory, you find a holocron on Korriban in which Bastila talks about her master Revan leaving and there are no other sith lords she will follow, that only Revan can truly lead the sith.

Mira was pretty easy, could get almost all I needed from her in one sitting. Bao-Dur was more about action than words. Your actions are how you gain or lose influence with him.

Yeah that's why she rigs his roids to blow. -
Ah... ok thanks Kalfear. I never need help opening the container though. Who would when you can bash it open? Quest items won't break... will they? EDIT: Actually, the more I think of it, I still think he had more of a role but it was cut out, or just not completed all together due to time limits. Ok so he helps the player open the container, but he didn't need to be an Onderonian diplomat to do that, it would actually make more sense that a medical bay employee would help the player get medical supplies. The old "OMG my friend's been hurt! I need medical supplies!!! NOW!!!!" trick would work fine. He must have been intended to do something else.

"Un" Official Kotor 3 discussion
Cassidy replied to locater16's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
First off, you should learn to type in English better because that was horrible. Secondly, a lot of your ideas were good ideas and I agree with *most* of them. But you have to realize that the more "cool new features" you add, the longer it takes to develop, and in the case of LA, generally translates to other parts of the game suffering due to being rushed. If Obsidian had been allowed another 6 or 8 months to work on the game it would have been 10 times better because so much had to be cut due to the time constraints. Yes, we all want KotOR 3 now, but the reality is that it hasn't even been officially announced yet. Even if it had been announced, if it's rushed out the doors like K2 was you will end up with a bugged, incomplete game, just like K2. I personally would rather wait another 9 months or a year and get a complete, polished game. -
I like doing Nar Shadaa first because by doing it first you can get HK rebuilt early on.

Before I start, I want to say that I have experienced this in almost every game of K2 that I have played, around 15 or so. I usually set all my jedi party members, including the Exile, to the jedi support combat mode. While controling another character in combat, when I switch back to the Exile I notice that even though he/she has the third tier powers of force wave or force storm, he/she has the second tier attack in the queue, the whirlwind or force lightning. Those are the only two powers I notice it on, though there may be others as well. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this. It's not a serious issue, but it shouldn't be happening.
