What are you playing now?
medieval 2 total war expansion playing the Britannia campaign and kicking butt as the Irish started off by quickly attacking the English and taking all their territories in Ireland, then got an alliance with the Scots and Welsh and started attacking the Norwegians the English king came back from the Crusades with a massive army of Templars and were hanging around London, but i managed to kill him off with an assassin

What you did today
yeah it really sucked especially seeing as i'd known her since we were like 3, so we were really close even before we started dating i still think about it from time to time, and i go pay her dad a visit every so often to catch up and have a beer one particular thing about it gets to me still though she had gone away on holiday, and just before she left she gave me a ring to look after for her. she said it'd always suited me, and she wanted to get it engraved for me when she got back, only... she didn't come back...

What you did today
yeah it sorta screwed with my head for a while i helped her dad with the funeral arrangements not something i'd ever expected to have to do as for the axe scar on my foot, that was just pure stupidity on my part i was like 11, and decided to go chop some wood for the fire was walking outside in bare feet and mum told me to make sure i put some shoes or boots on or something of course, i didn't listen to her everything was going fine, but on one particular swing of the axe, i missed well, missed the bit of wood anyway i hit my foot pretty good though

Are humans hard-wired for faith?
on a serious note though, i'm not all that surprised that people are making their own interpretations about this it seems to me perfectly rational for the faithful to believe this is just another aspect of "god's design" etc etc it's not something i will personally believe though *shrug*

The beer thread
i'm usually not too fussy with beer i like to experiment a bit and try out new ones all the time quite fond of things like Heineken, Corona, Steinlager Pure, Sol, Hollandier, Macs, Monteiths, Warsteiner, Grolsch, Stella Artois there was one particular Czech beer my flatmate and i found that was the best beer i've ever tasted unfortunately, can't remember the name of it

What you did today
So are we going to see the effects of that too? University year begins now in NZ, so went over to a staff/students meeting for Honours courses (it's like a BA Plus, but really, you want it if you want a real BA). You can really tell the difference between profs who just love the sound of their own voice and those who have actually thought about things. Then I got a haircut. My evening schedule this week appears to alternate between church and going light drinking. Interesting. just curious you at Massey or Vic? (and drinking on a tuesday night huh?)
