I have the best graphics settings enabled and the game runs smoothly, but in the game menu (where kreia, sion or hooded dude appears) it gets very slow. Doesnt really bother me too much, but it`s annoying when im in a hurry to get the game started. Here`s the other issue. This problem has been posted here before, but i couldnt find it and it was a pretty old topic too. I dont have a snap shot to post here, but ill do my best to describe it: In Peragus on almost every door frame there were green and purple tiles. And on some random surfaces they appeared too. This has continued in some places in Telos too. I have a Geforce 7800 GS-card and this problem didnt appear when i had ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. On the other hand none of the other "Ati-problems" plaque me now.

Downloading the content patches was painful enough.....would this be another gigantic download spree?!? I dont have an account at team.gizkas forum, thats why i posted here. I dont know will anyone except the makers be able to shed some light on this, but I`ll settle for a guess.

You get the last part on the second or third planet. Until then use those melee weapons just play the game and it will come to you

I had this same problem when i re-installed kotor2 recently. I was given instructions to modify my swkotor.ini file and that did the trick. In swkotor.ini find the line "Fullscreen=0". Change it into "Fullscreen=1". There are two of these lines: one in display options and one in graphic options, make sure you change both of them. btw. i have exactly the same specs as you do

I hope someone is using this mod, because i simply dont know how to activate it! I`ve equipped it and im on the Ebon Hawk, but i cant "use" it and it doesnt appear in the slots where other arm bands are... From readme/info: first it should activate a dialoque with the PC to...do something. Not happening. Right now im at work and i have to wait atleast 3 hours before i can get back to playing tsl again. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im re-installing Kotor2 soon, and i was wondering which patches/fixes i should get? Ive heard bad things about 1.0b patch, but i think im still getting it. 1.0a is a "must have" ...is it? All the fixes from team.gizka--absolutely! Are there more vital fixes to k2 that i dont know about? The media patch isnt that important to me, because ive got a slow connection and theyre huge files! And they dont really "fix" anything...

I just hope that they`ll come up with something as suprising/exciting as finding out that you`re Revan in K1. I can still remember how amazed I was when it was revealed. As for the Jedi heritage (my version): bastila, bao, handmaiden, mira, visas...have gathered whatever remaining jedi and started to train more for the war with the true sith. Revan makes a dramatic comeback! LS or DS...dunno

If you dont have a lightsaber, i dont think you should even be there yet...I always go to Korriban last, because then Im strong enough to own them Dont know about those DS points, but usually i just use stasis and lightning-->does the trick for the other 5, but i have to beat Malak with a saber, because he`s pretty strong.

I think this is the most contradictory quest in the kotor series. In both games becoming LS or DS is "the goal of the game", and this quest doesnt really gain me anything. Getting Sunry freed never served my sense of justice, but i didnt want to see him executed either...All thats left is a feeling that this didnt go how i wanted it to go... No suprise that this is one of Jolee`s quests. :ph34r:

Im playing K1 again and stumbled upon a quest I`ve never really solved, i think. Its that old cripple guy who is charged with killing a sith woman. So far in all my playthroughs I have had him (1) released, but he`s guilty, and theres no real closure to it... (2) confess the murder and he dies. Thats pretty much it. Is there more to this quest or are these the only 2 "endings"? Theres also that mysterious person who tells me to look deeper in to the affair and to search both embassies for THE TRUTH, but all i can find is the recording of the murder in the republic embassy?? :ph34r: :ph34r: :ph34r:

I have to say im with Handel on this one. I too hate how i have to be a lame-ass goodie-goodie to get LSP. If someone threatens to kill me, would it be against the jedi code to use *force confusion* on him and walk away--> most likely we both live and everyone lives happily ever after. But no, i have an option to say: "i dont want to fight you, hate leads to the dark side, please have a smile." Then he attacks me and i end up killing him. What`s the point?? I dont think there`s nothing wrong with being LS and at the same time not taking crap...just be shrewd about it :cool: BTW...my favourite character is Jolee! :ph34r:

I also have never "seen" the hurricane crystal, despite playing K2 a lot! I just recently found out about it here, but i havent gotten any more information, except that its supposed to appear somewhere in the game. Perhaps someone could tell me & and rass how to find it :ph34r: ?!?!?!?

I`ve experienced this problem every time i have played kotor. Sometimes i get the armor from the very beginning using cheats. This time i got it from the fourth planet. Still it remains...

this is a really strange bug/glitch/crash....i cant equip m.heavy armor. When i try to put the armor on someone the game freezes and then crashes. It doesnt matter who i try to put it on (PC/NPC). I can modify the armor, but i cant use it! crap. Anyone else had this problem?

whaaat! i can quickload (F5) myself back from the blank screen. What the hell is wrong with this....could some of the files required for the next room be corrupted or ?!?

but when this freezing happens, it is the first "load scene" of the game. the only loading it does before this is when i start a new game. So saving doesnt help. Besides i have 2 save slots right before i enter the new area, and i have tried everything! Im sure there

I needed a break from TSL so i decided to play K1 one more time Yes this is a K2 forum, but i thought you guys could help me out with this problem... Ive created my character and played my way to the place where Trask sacrifises himself and i have to go to the next room to meet Carth ( ). But when i open the door and enter the new area, the game doesnt start to load. It just goes blank and there`s music on the background...i can even see my ingame-mouse pointer. Search button has been used a lot before posting this, so please dont refer me there. Couldnt find anything useful. Disabling movies doesnt help. I had(and fixed) this problem when i first bought KOTOR, but i cant remember how i did it I also downloaded the latest cataclyst 5.7 and i cant re-install, because i misplaced my K1 cd`s.

TSL managed to suprise me a couple of times. The first was on Peragus after the discussion with the HK-50 about that tech-guy. When you go outside and there are several droids waiting to kill poor exile. Destroying them was easy, but when i opened the door that was next to the jammed one, and there`s a big droid waiting right behind it. My heart almost stopped. It wasnt as bad as playing Alien versus Predator or something like that, but despite being a poorly finished product, TSL was sometimes quite exciting. For example when exile finally manages to get to Malachor V and he/she has to fight that big storm beast at the "arena." When that big, ugly monster started to run towars exile, i felt quite small at that point. Of course i was LS Jedi Master with kickass force powers so the fight didnt last very long (thanks to the high level force powers-mod), but i liked how that creature came towards me like an unstoppable freight train. Maybe the worst moments were dialogs/movies including Hanharr. I hate wookies even more than Carth, GO-TO and Kreia combined. They only seem to be able to kill people with theyre endless speeches about honor and lifedebt. Every time i saw Hanharr ,i wanted to skin him with my lightsaber. Or maybe tie him to Ebon Hawk`s laser guns and then blast his sorry ass to oblivion. What a sight a hairless wookie would have been!! Then i could have started a galactic circus featuring a gigantic rat!!!

1. When Bao appears to Remote at Malachor V, he says that something about undoing the destruction that MSG did. After starting up those 4 ships he appears again and says that Remote must ensure that MSG fires up one last time to destroy everything. I dont remember exatly what he said, despite having played K2 through many times.... I just got confused ,because at first he says he wants to undo the damage "MSG did, the damage he did." But then he wants to use MSG to destroy the planet. Maybe i didnt follow the conversation very closely. Could someone explain why he`s saying these two things that are not quite..um how do i say it??....in consensus (pardon my spelling) 2. Stealth ability---when i use it, my PC gets that white "energy-cloud" around him. But one time i used it, Exile went totally stealth, so that i could see through him. Is this because of game settings (better graphics settings?), or are there diffrent kind of belts. Im not using the best settings...because of my crappy computer.
