Isn't this exactly what Galaxies is? The KOTOR game series, IMO, wouldn't translate well to MMO.

Good content? I dunno about that. Often, the content is only as good as the medium in which it is relayed. Too often, I can't comprehend Gromnir's nonsensical ramblings and thus don't get the gist of his content.

One can only hope. Although if the next time we see the development team in a picture and all are sporting a few extra pounds, we might as well expect delays.

I like seeing that "99% complete" thing, but since I'm not in the computer business, I have no clue just how long the "1%" will actually take. I'm guessing the reason why he held off on announcing the official release date for a few more weeks is to give as much time longer for delays, stalling for the next couple of weeks atleast.

I just don't understand why as soon as one person does it, a lot of people follow like sheep. It's like Darth Sun Tzu's smilies. After he started posting them, a bunch of people started following his lead. The day everyone starts imitating the way Gromnir posts is the day I stop coming to these forums.

Why are a lot of people typing like that now? It isn't very original and it gets to be hard to read. You're not inventing some- thing cool and instead are just making it more difficult for people to follow The thread.

If that's directed at me, then I would like to clarify my comment about "newbies". I consider a newbie someone who is new (obviously) but also who posts rediculous posts without paying attention to a)known information b)disregards the search function c)comes here just to rant and whine because of ONE feature they want implemented but hasn't been. There are a lot of "new" posters who are actually contributing to the forum. I'm talking about those who sign up, post repetitive threads about the same thing they're whining about, then spam each forum with said topic.

Agreed. The ability to put the hood up or down is such a moot point, IMO, considering now players have the best of both worlds. You want hoods? There are robes with hoods. You don't want hoods? There are robes without hoods. To bemoan the inability to put the hood up or down is just downright silly.

I've done that before, but by "accident". I had Bastila and T3 in my party, and T3 didn't have any weapons besides his blaster pistol. Bastila got stuck in a rare "glitch" where she just stands there and doesn't move, so I basically had to defeat the Sith Governor by myself, with T3 shooting little potshots at him from a distance every once in a while.

Truth be told, I stick around the KOTOR forums mainly because I'm not interested in NWN2 and because there aren't any other games coming out that interest me yet. I just continue checking out the KOTOR forum hoping that maybe one of these times we'll have a big update about something interesting and try my hardest to ignore the amount of newbies who sign up just to bitch that a certain aspect of the game sucks, even though they've never actually played the game yet. But lately it's becoming more and more difficult to ignore them.

And I thought I was the only one that was getting annoyed with the amount of people "whining" about why a feature they want isn't going to be implemented.

That Jet Li guy has 8 posts, and so far all 8 have been nothing but insults towards other posters. My guess is JediMafia has returned and is trying to be a **** to anyone and everyone since his ideas were laughed at.

I voted for the new story option. I'm not sick of the old characters, I just think new ones are more fitting for this game.
