If my PC is going to lose a limb, I want it to be Darth Vader style where everything gets chopped off and I'm reborn as a mechanical monster just so after the cutscene plays I can sit in front of my computer screen and yell "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!".

I also think Kreia would seem more interested in her daughter's fate. Kreia seemed to regard Handmaiden on the same level as any of the other party members.

Who, besides from Khabibulin, have Tampa Bay lost? That's not a result of the CBA, that's the result of Tampa just not deciding to re-sign him. They are well under the cap to be able to afford him, they just chose not to. The rest of their roster (atleast the key components) are still under contract.

That part would be cool, except for if there was a chance you lose *both* hands. Then how would your character carry on?

Now that it's in the proper forum, here's my answer. Because Kreia is able to mask her presence. She says that countless times during the course of the game. She hid her presence from Atris, and she hid her presence from the Council. I believe the Council even makes some comment about it when she finally revealed herself.

I think that's one of the major problems with features such as limb removal - overuse.

That could have been either cool, or cheesey, depending on where your opinion of the Malak fight was. I could see his Force powers not working on you, but he uses your two companions to gain back health.

That's one of the reasons I thought Nihilus came across as so easy (well, he was, but still). The fact that it was a 3 on 1 on the bridge, whereas your final confrontations with both Sion and Kreia were 1 on 1.

Why the move from Obsidian General? What exactly is Obsidian General for now?

Enough coincidences to make me think the designers had them the same at some point, but it was probably jettisoned quite early on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it more likely the designers were going to have Kreia know Handmaiden's mom, rather than actually be her mom.

You've gotta be kidding me.The Sith lord on Dxun was harder to kill than Kreia. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's an exaggeration. First of all, on Dxun you had 3 people in your party to fight him. Kreia had to be fought 1 on 1. Secondly, just no.

Maybe one day when I'm laid up in bed because of some accident or whatever I'll pick it up.

That would just be useless clutter, considering 95% of the rumors are moronic to begin with. I think having a suggestions thread is fine, and if/when the game is OFFICIALLY announced, then people can post about that.

Would you recommend it, though, for someone looking forward to Oblivion? I know the stories aren't really connected, but still...

Kreia was the hardest of the Sith Lord fights, but I didn't think she was overly difficult. Maybe it's because I knew what I was doing this time around, but I thought Malak was a lot tougher than Kreia. As for how I beat Kreia, I just used my offensive Force powers like Force Storm, and combined it with some medpac useage and Master Flurry lightsaber action. I never bothered with shields or defensive Force powers.

You seem to have quite a few subscriptions to gaming magazines. Don't you get Playboy over there? As for Oblivion, I'm giving it a chance. Although maybe I should actually get around to playing Morrowind one of these days so I can judge for myself what Bethesda's games are like.

Bastila also likes to post EVERY single thing she reads about it, regardless of who the information is by. If it was her first or second time posting nonsense rumors, it would have passed without comment. But she seems to clutter decent threads with inane "OMG KOTOR3 IS BEING MADE!!!" threads, and then you click on the link and find out that some janitor that has a friend who works at McDonald's talked to someone who bought a hamburger who is related to someone who said that K3 is confirmed.

She does. It's just that she's got a bunch of those "queued" up so every turn of hers she uses it. It may just look like she's always doing it because the combat goes by pretty quick when you're being drained of life.
