So basically, is the only thing the EMS score affects whether or not you see the "breath" scene? Is that the grand sum of the changes for playing three games, about 30 hours each?
Eh, watched the endings on Youtube. They made a lot of things a lot less confusing, but they didn't really add enough to cause me to want to play through the game again.
Still trekking my way through the Mojave. Getting to the point where I always start to lose focus in sand box games, and have to remind myself to start doing quests instead of just running around trying to find as many landmarks as possible.
Still seems a rather big download for just cutscenes and cinematics, no?
Maybe it'll be an hour-long presentation by Casey Hudson on why Mass Effect 3's ending is all about artistic integrity.
Did they change what the extended cut was going to include? All I read was "cutscenes" and "cinematics" to further explain the endings. So if that's the case, and there's no actual new game play for the player, why is the file so large? Are they giving us a 30-minute movie to explain away the silliness?
Finally picked up Arcade Gannon as a sidekick. Does this guy ever have anything to say? Cass and Veronica seemed like chatterboxes compared to him, not to mention the fact both had "sidequests" associated with them right off the bat. This guy's been my pack mule.
Only if I make a character with the requisite ... repair or science? ... skill to fix him up. Primarily, though, I was referring to the "human" sidekicks.
Every time I play New Vegas I end up using the same companions all the time (Cass and Veronica), mainly it's due to how early in the game you can pick them up. I want to try out the other companions, but they seem to require me to advance quite a bit into the game before I can get them.
It could simply mean some mechanics that work in PnP don't translate well to video gaming, and so they're going to have to tweek some of those rather than try to find ways to implement them?
Finished Deus Ex Human Revolution, onto Fallout New Vegas. I never can decide what kind of build to make, so I get bored halfway through and try a new one. Maybe this time I'll see this one through.
Interesting read. Not much info still, though, so until they're farther into development, a lot of these interviews will sound more like hype pieces than actual info about what we'll see in the game.
http://deusex.wikia....iki/Talion_A.D.
Yeah, I've read multiple walk-throughs, but the thing is it seems like I needed to do the other sidequest first (that takes place in the same are). And since I didn't, it seems that one is glitched.
Every single time I play Deus Ex Human Revolution, I miss out on that quest titled "Talion A.D.". There's no marker on my map about where to go, and I search all through the sewers and can't find anyone by the name of the guy I'm supposed to be looking for. So friggin' frustrating.
Everytime I tried to write something, I got bored right away. I don't have a patience for it. I've got good ideas about stories, but it's the part where you flesh out those ideas that starts to get to me.
