  1. Nothing against Bioware, but they have a Disney like quality and I'm craving more of the gritty, serious and dark experience. Since Obsidian are former (Black Isles) employies what was their style like?
  2. No prob. At E3 im sure we can look forward to some hi rez pics.
  3. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 F
  4. Look at the pic in the middle on the far right. Looks like Couresant to me. I guess what i trying to say is bring on e3, bring on kotor 2, kotor 3, kotor 4...
  5. I used a transalation software of the net. Its not perfect but you will get it. Some new stuff Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 According to five years 'Knights of the Old Republic' one turns wrecked as one of the last Jedi in that republic back: with old and new companion, one fights himself through seven worlds and hunt immediately several ore enemies with its Jedikr
  6. I caught this post on the bioware fourms and i think it makes a very valid point. "That's KotOR: Sith Lords major problem though. They should've let the story be set at about 1000 years after the Star Forge events, leaving Revan as a legend instead of trying change our perception of him." I also certanily dont want a force feed perception of reven.
  7. Lets hope more info can be added soon.
  8. The first game, looked good, and played well. But i found one thing that could have been improved. The flow of the fighting system. In movies, lets take the duel between obi and Maul for a example, they didnt fights like : Maul thrusts a swing finished the movement, then gets in defensive mode for block obis attack. Obi uses push unsuccessfully then waits in defense pose for maul to attack. (You get the idea) What about a system that is uneven, in the sense that a oppenent could attack twice, and oppenent could only attack one. And this would be randomly cycled, instead of the attaack- defend-attack-defend. More like attack-attack-defend-attack-defend-defend. Im just saying that the KOTOR 2 fighting system might look slightly better like this, if the improved animation does not fix this? Any other thoughts on how a more cinematic experienced can be realised?
  9. Look the combat interface was well designed it was good for everybody, however you are right it is not perfect. Notice how i said that they intend to further improve the layout. Which is true. Keep in mind that this was approved (which i am very thankful for)*1000 by Fionavar (Moderator) and it was fine with him. Keep positve people
  10. I have decided to make a Unoffical FAQ on KOTOR 2 : The Sith Lords. I will be regularly updating this to keep in touch with current information. When is KOTOR 2 set? KOTOR 2 is set 5 years after the original. The Republic is scattered from the aftermath of the Jedi Civil war and the scourge of Malak. As a result the Jedi order also ceases to exist. Sith Assassins are hunting the last of the Jedi, the one who they believe will determines the outcome of the galaxy - you. Who is my Character? You are a veteran of the Mandalorian war who was in exile from the recent events. You are the last known Jedi left and it is up to you to decide a future for yourself and the Jedi order. Will the choices that I made in KOTOR influence KOTOR 2? Yes. Early in the game, conversations will take place in which you will instruct the game, the outcome of your choices in the first game. The game will recognize this and will make the necessary changes in the dialogue/story line. Will I see the Ebon Hawk again? Yes. You find the Hawk mysteriously abandoned on the asteroid mining facility of Peragus. Will I start of with force powers and a lightsaber? No. Although there is no need for training, being in exile has left you out of touch with the force. As you progress though the game, you strength in the force grows stronger and you acquire a light saber. Are there any new classes? Yes, they are called Prestige Classes. They include Sith Lord, Sith Marauder, Sith Assassin, Jedi Master, Jedi Watchmen and Jedi weapon master. More classes may be included. How will my choices affect my party members? Like in the first game in doing bad/good things you will receive praise/disappointment from your team members. However KOTOR 2 takes this one step further. Some companions may idolize you and copy what you do, while some others will go the opposite way. This will have an effect on the story line. Also there will be characters who will not join your party unless you are of a particular alignment, raising the value of playing through KOTOR II as both Light and Dark Side. How many planets are there? 7 worlds including Dantooine, Telos (Carths home world), Onderon, and Duxon. Will combat and interface have major makeovers? No. Both were well designed in the first game with no need to change. However the Devs will be working on improving and refining both these issues. For example a quick key will make in much easier to change weapons during combat, instead of having to go though your inventory and searching. Will upgrading on the workbench be more developed in this game? Definitely. Much more items and upgrade options will be available making way for more powerful items. Will there be a different graphics engine in KOTOR 2? No, however the Devs will make tweak the KOTOR engine by making improvements to lighting, weather and slicker character and fighting animations. Will more combat feats be included? Not only are more feats included, but the animations representing them will vary as well. If a character is weak in a feat, they might attack clumsily and miss sometimes, where if a character is experienced in a feat the attack animation will make the character look more swift and powerful when attacking. This is to give the player a more satisfying sense of progression. Will I see any old characters from the first game? Yes. most old characters from the old game will be seen/mentioned if either alive or dead. However don
  11. What? Didnt that article show you anything? Yes Delaware is definatly KOTOR 2
  12. That would push up the rating
  13. Dw about hades. He tends to be negitive. It just the way he is.
  14. My bet is that development of KOTOR 3 (Totally new ENGINE disign) is underway. Why? Well maybe for the launch of Xbox 2.
  15. Hey all. I was thinking if somehow someone or a group of people here could make a fan site for KOTOR 2 so we could be the unoffical KOTOR 2 information source. Think it would work?
  16. Yeh. Something like that would be nice.
  17. In the first game i found the romance to be too shallow and to quick. Not only that but i know Bioware were trying to keep the rating down. But a more mature, sopistated romance is nessacry. I found how Bastila ending the romance so sundenely annoying making the hole experience hollow. Make the romances mean something. Something important. If that mean more that 2 endings so be it.
  18. Shees. And i thought you guys were all in your teens.
  19. Since this is Star Wars, could there be oppentents that do NOT use the force but someother type of magic?
  20. Kinda like Freelancer. Being able to fly between planets and fight in space.
  21. Firstly. No i did not mean muliplayer. This is SP and lets keep it that way. Im talking bout vehilces, space fights, a COMPLETE Star RPG. I would be willing to wait a extra year for it if these could be included.
