  1. It's already fixed for the next patch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does that mean fixed "warlocks can't choose item creation feats"? or Does that mean fixed "warlocks can now enchant"? (w00t) It never hurts to ask. :D (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1st? (jk)
  2. Whoa. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, censoring a review? Now I am really interested what the original review included!
  3. It's already fixed for the next patch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> good, all my hopes for an improved games lie in your (dev-s) work
  4. suggesting you to point this out as a bug for the devs to have it fixed
  5. I pretty much do the same thing, and it allowed me to install to a different drive than C <{POST_SNAPBACK}> install yes, but the patch goes over C drive, and you know how big the patch is, nearly the size of my whole C drive, and only if its not filled, with the system <_< (what's not possible of course)
  6. memory is not identical with free space on driver
  7. double (hint: scimitar or rapier ) 1. Do you possibly mean Reach? In that case, not to my knowledge. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. Threat range max: 12-20 2. what do you exactly mean by this? 3. already answered correctly
  8. i know 9 people who are disappointed (3 Hungary, 3 UK, 1 Austria, 1 Germany, 1 USA) and don't use Bio or Obs forums. I too think MANY things can still be improved, even via patches. But some (many) people are like 'first look on it: don't liking it, not buying it', against that we can't help, and myself i am too sad about charcreation, but still the whole game is interesting me, and I am really hoping for an updated char creation tool in the first expansion latest.
  9. I had about 1.2gb free on C: and I both installed and patched it successfully. The install shield does have a bug that says you need more space on C: but you can install anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have 865 MB, and anything else is system.
  10. it seems the complaining does make some good moves possible
  11. 7G?? Good thing for file compressions. The patch is 82MB compressed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it's space that's needed for files the patching process is using. Since most of the files are Zips, I'm guessing it needs to unzip them, patch, and then zip them again. I'm starting to regret partitioning this drive into 20gig bites <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't be able to install the patch. I don't have 7Gs to spare. Now I am going to have a look around to see what I can get rid of. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have a C drive of 10 G, never meant to be for anything else than the system itself, I hope they create a patcher where you can chose the drive you want to use for it.
  12. I hope F didn't make this thread only to bump the thrash somewhere
  13. I like chess
  14. a little note: had read all the dev comments in th nwnvault, and have some more faith now that the game will become much better with later patches and such, i really needed this hope
  15. Guess what, I already went with the Armored Battle Drow Mage of the Underdark option. :D Given that it has 2 additional build point (char & int) as well as the dex bonus which the moon elves have AND bling-bling spell resistance (something like 11+ lvl), it was a no brainier. My original build was: Str: 14 Dex: 14 Con: 14 Wis: 8 Int: 16 Cha: 16 But then I changed it to: Str: 16 Dex: 10 Con: 12 Wis: 8 Int: 16 Cha: 18 Do you think that I should have put at least 2 points for the added AC (since most armors allow at least 1 dex modifier)? I've only been playing through the tutorial, so I don't mind having to rebuild if I have too. Also: Reserved Guardian voice is back! (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> don't have Cha 18, if you only have 16 you got some spare points, i suggest hightly a Con 14, and a dex 12 (so you can use the full plates dex)
  16. You would've needed to know two things you omitted. Sawyer should've known what you meant, and didn't try. Before discussing video card, you needed to discuss actual processor CORE Silicon. That's because Core 2 Duo is comparable to P4 CPUs running almost twice as fast. If you have the newest Intel CPU in there, you are well above the 3.0 GHz comparable point. BUT no one can answer the question with certainty, as long as you avoid finding out what video it has (very doubtful you have anything good enough). There are tons of ways to find out. Which brings up the question of WHY both Atari and Obsidian continue to avoid posting any official System Requirements Charts on either of the two web sites? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they released it and we still doesn't know on what it runs?
  17. ...BG was 5, yup... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> this only means BG3 will be 3...DVD-s
  18. A force sensitive twi-lek spy/dancer who becomes slowly webbed into greater things and joins the jedi
  19. ...ummm...4...close, though... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ah true, then BG1 was
  20. Multiclassing can be fun. It's especially important in d20 Modern, but the only way to get a full BAB is to be straight Tough Hero. As far as D&D multiclassing goes, I like Ranger/Barbarian (for a throwback to the 1E Ranger) and Ranger/Rogue (for my Urban Ranger). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you know what e gestalt is, right?
  21. With the ECL and split classes isnt that guy going to be a gimp? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nope, and anyway, let all the people play what they want
  22. i wait till there are 4 or 5 episodes to get them at once
  23. D'oh! Well, have mercy. My entire knowledge of 3/3.5 consists of almost finishing chaper one of IWDII. EDIT: Thanks to deganawida too! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I must say the 'new' thing about multiclassing and that all the classes have the same chances in improvement are the things i most love in the new edition I also sometimes play as a 'gestalt', but not to powerplay, to create my favorite 'lone wolf casanova', a Ranger/Bard gestalt
  24. BG2 was 5 or 6
