I guess all medium sized races are, but for Marduk an Aasimar or Human would be the best (yeah, i know you wanna be a copycat)

I just read on the Bioware forums that i can create my long-dream char concept at once, its the first huge grin NWN2 allowed me to make since i play it! (w00t) I am gonna create my Avatar yay! To be more specific: God Marduk of Septerra Core 1. Gonna create a fighter/weapon master 2. get him ultra specialized in Greatsword 3. taking the Feat 'monkey grip' 4. gonna use 2 ((!)) greatswords in dual-wield Voila! There is Marduk, the Protector of Septerra! :D I so waited for this since Septerra Core

Uh.. yes, you are correct. Unless you're overclocking with serious voltage increases, you're as likely to "wear out" a power cord as you are a CPU by overclocking it. I'm sure moving all those electrons in the end will wear out the material, but, to be honest, I'm not really worried about that since it'll be time to upgrade (about a thousand times over) before that happens. The motherboard I am using is an Abit AW9D-Max, which is designed for heavy overclocking. Solid state capacitors, and all that. Overclocking may decrease the length of life for your hardware, but it's not a problem since you're bound to upgrade long before that ever happens (unless you actually burn something, one way or another). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you're not a newbie in it, then I guess you won't burn yourself.

You're a little behind in the conversation I think. Thanks anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes, can't de-bug, play, make module for NWN1, work, write, be on forums, and live at the same time

Wow, I see what you mean. I'm not sure how anyone can qualify for that class easily. Diplomacy of 8... and the only classes that can develop it easy are non-casters. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WARNING: that isn't the true prerequisite, you don't need Diplo 8, if i remember correctly, you need caster lvl 3 and martial weapons

another bug: Duelist Int bonus to AC is not being applied properly
-
bugs in the game: bards and sorcerers aren't able to change their spells later, as they should most of the time the familiars don't give the bonuses they should drain level doesn't work on chars (not sure about monsters) no bug but needs to be addressed: missing/bad animations (mostly fight stances and attacks) ect. will think of making a 10 side list or so

I'm a completist. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I actually think the first one was better, had a more darker feeling to it, also it came quite good out to be the one and only hope for a small village against hordes of monsters... the 2nd part is much more of a hack&slash (yep, its possible), and it's clearly made for multiplayer. Also I HATE what they did witht he D1 main char in D2 <_<

Why Warlock?

It's really time for battle Chess 2 ... ?

I thought so to. I prefered the girl, the guy seemed to be a dullard but a decent fighter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nothing is impossible: raise dead, and such are included, we just have to beg dev-s that in the expansion you can get them somehow into party, maybe after a little timejump PS: I also liked her the most
-
Exactly, and that's not bad at all.

He himself said the crafting recipes doesn't have the warlock things, so thats's a way to repair this bug, add them

I tried in the last 5-7 years many, MANY MMO-s and only 2 very different ones catched my interest for a longer timeframe. They were EVE Online and City of Villains. I always liked sci-fi space theatres, so I guess thats why i like EVE (also have to mention the very good char face creator of it), but it was different with CoV. CoV did not interest me, i thought it to be too childish, but there was a 14 days trial and i tried it. A little sidejump to say what i search for in MMORPG-s: the RPG part. Tried Matrix Online, it failed terribly, even if some players there named themselves 'rp-ers', they weren't. Tried World of Warcraft, too many 'noobs' and nearly no RP. I also didn't like the 'go kill things, get parts of them, and get reward" moebius. Tried Dungeons and Dragons Online. Truth be said there are some RP-ers, but its hard to find them, and the game interested me in long terms only in its well made dungeons, the comenter guy's (not remembering correct english word) dialogue/voice, and becouse its D&D my favorite system. Back to CoV: I was astounished how many people actually TRIED to RP there, however old/young they were, I also LOVE the character creation possibilities, and that you can still modify the looks later. Also the quests were not the ussual ones, what you find on other games. Yes, there were some that were the ussual routine, but not more than 10%. I have to say after these years I love the EVE for its community and working together with other players, and like CoV to RP and to play quests alone, or with max. 1-2 other roleplayers. Why do i then leave them behind for now? It's the money, I am happy to be able to buy food and pay all the bills, to have internet connection is the max i can allow myself right new. Maybe i will join it later, I am interested how DDO will evolve (where you can jump, climd, swim, even if its DnD like many offline games that doesn't allow this), what EVE will become like, and if CoV will stay with its mostly RP-er players instead of becoming something like WoW. (hack&slash XP hunter item addicts) Anyway, I have here all my CoV chars on one picture to show you before i delete them, and one of Istaria, becouse I gues you will like her (as said i played a lot of MMO-s, but didn't wanted to mention all) My main char was Lich Pharaoh Azthmek, my friend played the Wizard. I always try in a game to create chars what fit in, having a concept, and only after that looking at what abilities/skills fits into my concept. Again, i loved how i was able to make my char ideas true with the huge possibilities CoV allowed. (Sadly some details gone missing becouse of resize-ing, like the witty smile of Swift Burglar) And here is my Istaria char (I said to the to change race name to fairy or pixie, they thought about it before they got buyed by an other company ) As for not yet released MMO-s i am interested in Pirates of the Burning Sea, Stargate, and Star Trek ...hopefully will have money in some months again PS: Why the hell i posted all this? I really thought I owe my characters that much that they get a little introduced before possibly bumped forever

Well, in PnP, Warlocks can create almost any item using their innate "Imbue" ability and UMD skill. But, alas, this isn't PnP. That's ok, I'll just keep a mage NPC handy. Normally I'd reroll as crafting/enchanting is a big thing with me... but I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally liking the Warlock's other skills. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you don't understand, the guys at WizCoast/Hasbro/whoever have a strong leash (sp?), rules have to be included into the game as much as possible, Obsidian had luck with KOTOR because of the 40K year difference they even could create a new, 3rd jedi class (what i love the most), but here, with already existing classes they HAVE to do anything after the rule set. If they are changing any 'little' part of it, it makes DnD hardcores (welll, atleast many of them) and the hasbro guys angry, also they will ask "what's the next step? giving extra feats for the fighter only all 3 lvls instead of 2?" and similar things, and this all will go to the point where people abandon the game, and Obsidian could get policy (sp?) problems.
-
They will be disallowed from selecting those feats as our crafting recipes don't support their abilities. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> my question is: is the warlock supposed to be able to enchant items? I ask this becouse i know the publishers and rightholders of FR/D20 look very closely on NWN2 classes, and uses of the rules. if the answer is yes, than i suggest a later, good patch where you correct the crafting recipes.

Okay so it's partitioned into 5 drives? What size are they all, and which one has NWN2 on it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have 2 real srives parted into 5, and on E is NWN2, its 70 G, this is my biggest drive, mostly only for games, and project STARMAGE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So as long as you've got the free space on the E drive you shouldn't have any problem with the patch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but it always say 'too less free space on C' or such, and it quits.

I only have 2GB free on my system drive however I have a good 20GB free on my D drive where I installed the game. I had no problem patching the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you have a 'bit' more free space than me, look at what i wrote. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I must be mis-interpreting what you are saying in that post. What HD do you have anyway. All I seem to be getting is that you have a C drive that is 10GB that you have all your system stuff on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its partitioned i have so 5 drives and only C is the one i never use <_<
-
don't give up hope, none of my group ever played pnp Warlock, but if the rules there say they can make items, than the patch will allow it

I guess yes, or no censoreship would have been needed.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> We'll still be blamed for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don' think the Obsidian Community could be blamed for it
