It looks like if you use both of them, you get a bonus of 10, yes. The breakdown in script is: +4 for Master Speed +6 for Force Armor So yeah, it'll add up to 10. Wearing a robe didn't seem to cut into the bonus though, I had the same +10 to Defense with or without the robe. Wearing armor kept me from casting Force Armor, so I was only able to get the +4 bonus from Master Speed. Akari I'm not sure if this was a bug, per say, or an actual rule: In KotOR, the AC bonus derived from casting Master Speed and Force Armor did not stack, but was capped at +10. Additionally, if you wore any time of amor ( including robes), you lost an addition 3 points of theoretical AC points. Has this been changed/fixed for TSL? Thanks.

There are some limits to it though. If other party members are not participating in combat, Atton's survival feat doesn't kick in. And he does stay down for 5 or seconds or so, which is long enough for enemies to decide to go after someone else in the party instead of him. I think Craftsman has the right idea. Yeah, I know that a sequel isn't necessarily defined by the premise of a new engine, but let's face it folks; most sequels do utilize a new engine. Also, where does one draw the line where the "more of the same" formula deviates from the style that made the original, to that of its own game?

KotOR was a classic which will probably go down in gaming's hall of fame. Can TSL be just as good? Or does TSL promise to surpass KotOR in every conceivable way? I for one hope this sequel isn't destined to the mediocrity of diminishing returns...

It hasn't done good to some guys playing the game as a female. They had to start a romance with Carth and hate him since then. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He didn't even bother me so much when I played female. Mostly because Anomen in Baldur's Gate II was FAR worse. Still, Carth obviously added something to the game. You can still vote for him if you hate him, that's what the topic is about, but one person claimed he added nothing, which is false. Take a look at the opinions on Carth, people are divided on whether or not they love or hate Carth, but everyone reacts pretty strongly to him. That means he damn sure added something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True that. Also, if you're like me and hold off levels at lvl 2 on Taris, he's pretty useful in combat early on as well. Much better than that theoretical meat-shield Big Z (who defence rating is so poor and really never gets better), who just ends up getting mobbed. <_< There was quite a heated NPC banter between Carth & Canderous if you have them in your party. :ph34r:
