If it nerfs my Shimmering Shield, I don't want it! Condolences. DO NOT WANT! It's like my Morrowind Robe of St. Roris all over again.

Definitely. The undercurrent of racial subjugation was addressed in The Witcher. I'd like to see it expanded upon in the DA universe. -
Shepherd = totally sweet & awesome! Edit: Also, teh style endings is a most excellent idea. I haven't done that since .

Yup, and it's my favorite part of the game. Watching the comedy antics of your is PURE GOLD (I went with Leliana & Dog on my first playthrough);

Which shopkeep is it btw? The ****ney brother or the armorer brother? The ****ney brother. Hawt diggidy!1 I sold my Warden armor set, did a few side quests, popped back, and the boots have turned into tier 5 red steel, while the plate and gloves have turned into tier 6 silverite (better than my blood dragon armor). I could cash out now and be a very happy bunny...but I think I'll wait it out.

But don't sell your love letters, scolls of banister, and whatever you do, don't get rid of the pantaloons!

I think I've stumbled upon the finest light armor in the game: The Felon's Coat: Material: Drakeskin (Tier 7) Armor: 9.00 Fatigue: 2.30% +6 dexterity +9 defense +4 armor +1 stamina regeneration in combat +15 physical resistance Buy it at Wade's Emporium in Denerim...for a whopping 89 sovereigns!

Excellent ideas, Volo. On top of that, however, I would like to see the Barbiaran & Human Commoner origins that Bio unfortunately seemed to have axed in DA1. Especially barbarian, as going all Conan the Destroyer as a Chasind or an Ash Warrior would be a riot. What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women! Exploration of teh Maker myth/Black City would make for an epic finish for DA3. And thanks to not being pigeon holed into kowtowing to the needs of an external license (i.e. D&D), we'd be able to actually have an opportunity to usurp godhood rather than merely being teased with the idea (ala Mask of the Betrayer). And a Beast Handler specialization would be awesome. It should make your Mabari dog/Halla deer/Dwarf bunny-pig more uber...and perhaps even offer synergy combos between Handler and Animal. Spell synergy was cool, and I'd like to see that combo system extend to other classes as well. -
There you go, kensai-mage to be.

Effectiveness? Screw that! Didn't you see how awsum Walking Bomb spell looked in teh Sacred Ashes trailer? Seriously though, early game when my mage was squishier than a Waseland ghoul's schlong, I thought it would be clever to take the drain mana spell. Boy, was I wrong. I was conned, pure and simple. The uselessness of this spell was borderline fraudulent. It would only drain 1 mana ponint. 1 freking mana. Disgraceful. In disgust I banished it from my spell quickbar and never looked back. Volo's on teh money here. One of Oghren's finest moments were when the PC asks one the party members to help him out in delivering the condolence letters, and Ogrhen steps in. But these moments are few and far between. There's a reason he was ostracized by his fellow Dwarves you know.

It's cheese, but that was my first character. Even though I couldn't afford to buy the Grandmaster Dweomer rune and had to make do with the Master Dweomer rune I looted, my Templar was still 96 or 98 % magic resistant and untouchable by every spell. It was kinda amusing watching Gaxkang blow through his entire arsenal on my Templar with half a dozen "Resisted" bubbles popping over my char's head.

Knight Commander plate = 40% MR The Spellward (amulet) = 30% MR Key to the City (ring) = 4% MR Starfang with 2 grandmaster dweomer runes & 1 expert dweomer rune = 26% MR Total: 100% magic resistance

Go do your Urn of Sacred Ashes questing, kill plenty of drakes, and take 'em to Wade. Get him to make you a set of Wade's Drakescale Armor, and then give him more drakescale and pay him for the better, Wade's Superior Drakescale Armor.

No to mention that you only get the item set bonus for Juggie if you wear the god-forsaken-butt-ugly-helmet, whereas you can get the item set bonus for teh Blood Dragon armor w/o wearing the helm (even though it's amazingly awesome looking, Bergen's Honor or Helmet of Honnleath is SO much better). Unfornately, Blood Draggie plate makes me look fat.

Damn, I'm not sure I can part with my Warden Commander Boots. I need the +50 mana (as well as the +50 health from my Blood Dragon plate). I wonder if it will regen if I just sell the plate...
-
^Then of course, there is the ubertastic synergy by casting crushing prison on top of a forcefield. Great crowd control, which sadly I don't use, since I need that forcefield in place. -- Holy Crap! Does it work with just the plate or the entire set too? 'Cause you know, the boots are the best piece.

Someone should make an AI enemy mod for that kind of thing. It would be awesome. Mana Clash still wouldn't hurt the Arcane Warrior / Blood Mage w/ all sustainables on though, since the sustainables would reduce the mana pool to a mana puddle (meaning the total mana lost & thus damage inflicted would be low). That, and I don't believe losing your mana will disable any active sustainables. Epic, no? Not to mention you still have your health to use as a mana battery for casting with blood magic.
-
I set her from "default" to "ranged" behaviour. Arcane Warrior attack rating can be sky high (as well as damage, defense, & all resistances) - all you have to do is put EVERY point into Magic. Not only will this increase your spellpower, but it'll also vicarioulsy increase your attack, and also your damage. You only need around 20 or so willpower to activate all your sustainables and this can be achieved without putting any points into willpower if you equip the right gear & cash in on every Fade freebie font point (there's 4 st, 4 dex, 3 will, 2 mg, 5 cun, & 2 con points up for grab - make sure you grab 'em all since even str & dex will further increase your attack, and the con will help with blood maging, while the cun will help with getting those PC coercion skills). As for needing mana for casting? That's what blood magic is for!

ZOMG, it's jagtastic official: Blood Wound (3rd Blood Mage power) is the best AoE power in teh game; Shimmering Shield (3rd Arcane Warrior power) is teh best buff in teh game! Enter room or any level: 1) Cast fireball on mob; 2) Cast crushing prison (2nd best power in the game) and forcefield (3rd best power) on the 2 strongest enemies; 3) Turn on Blood Magic; 4) Cast Blood Wound on any remaining mobs (****ing hell, this is ridiculous: it's like an AoE crushing prison!) 5) Turn off Blood Magic, & turn on Combat Magic; 6) Activate Shimmering Shield (I'm not sure why the enemies carry on fighting at this point!!), Miasma, Combat Armor, Arcane Shield, & Flaming Weapon sustainables; 7) Auto-attack remaining fools as unkillable manifestation of walking death; Nb - you can skip straight to steps 5, 6 & 7 and just leave your sustainables on all the time as well (it's almost as effective but a little less fun). Behold teh POWA of Arcane Warrior / Blood Mage!!!1
-
-Kensai-mage (Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage Unkillable Death Tank/Gish-er); -Mage-killer (100% magic resistant Templar); -Arrow-slayer (Master rogue archer);
-
^High Cunning can carry your rogue alone if he's meleeing, but high dex will singlehandedly make your archer into a god. Aim + Rapid Aim + Scattershot + Arrow of Slaying = Coran & Kivan slaying Drizzt by themselves level of godhood.
