Now that is just uncalled for.

OE does seem to like writing much darker stories than Bioware does. I have no doubt that OE can write a great traditional Fantasy or Space Opera story if they wanted too and I am sure they will write one at some point because you can't be that dark all the time. I hope NWN2 does not have that "second act" feel to it.

Ten things I liked about TSL: 1. Atton made me laugh a couple of times. 2. Mira seemed to be a well thought out character. 3. A couple of the in games movies were really great. 4. Darth Nihlus looked really cool. 5. Kriea's voice acting was pretty good. 6. Loading times seemed faster than KotOR1. 7. I liked the joke with GOTO's name. 8. I was happy to see T3 back. 9. Some of the bugs were down right funny. On Nar Shadaar the cutscene of the bounty hunters and them not despawning. Well it was just too funny passing the "statues" as I ran around Nar Shadaar. 10. It almost felt like Star Wars. Well, thats ten things I liked about TSL. I admit I have posted some pretty negative stuff about the game and OE but as Tony Soprano says "You can't put crap back in a donkey" so I might as well consentrate on the things I do like about the game because I have already bought it.

Ummmm, yes it does. It takes some tweaking around with things and even if it you do not tweak anything all you have to do is play from the game disc when the T3 cutscene is going to happen. I have played through the game twice while running off the hdd.

I would much rather have the old conversation system. Influence is cool but not at the expense of the old system.

I don't know of any other lightsabers but you can buy Carth's blaster for only 14,600 credits.

Probably something that is opened on your third play through or is locked up. I got 52 finishing it on the lightside. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was also lightside.

I have unlocked 52 of the 62 movies in the game. Has anyone unlocked them all? This is my second time through and I am wondering what I might have missed that would account for 10 movies. After reading a post from one of the developers, I am wondering if maybe the triggers for those movies where cut from the game late in the development cycle.

I thought I also saw it mentioned in the little tutorial popups at the begining of the game but I could be wrong. I guess the feature really is not in the game.

I do not think they can actually patch the program via Live. I think it is against the rules.

Makes me wonder if Bioware had more pull with LA than Obsidian does. There were small problems with KotOR1 but, nothing like this. If TSL becomes a smash hit then maybe Obsidian can more influence on the release date and give themselves the time it takes to work out all the bugs. I cannot imagine any developer wanting to release a console game with this many bugs. Honestly, thanks for all the hard work Obsidian

The manual says it does on the bottom of page 9. I tried it everytime I could think of and it never worked.

I am unable to Press the "X" button from the party selection screen or the map screen and return to the Ebon Hawk. This is my second time through the game and it has never worked. Any ideas?

Did you change lightsaber forms?

On Nar Shadaar........ did anyone else think that all the bounty hunters standing around the docks but not talkng to you was a glitch? The twin suns one would reply the cutscene each time you open dialog with the one twelek there?

Yep, you are right. Hopefully the questions you answer at the begining will setup who tells you the tale. I imagine the T3 is not much of a storyteller.

I think who shows up the game is going to be determined by how they explain the Republic snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so masterfully. In the lS ending you have slain their leader, destroyed their entire capacity for manufacturing warships (who runs other factories when you got the Star Forge? Malak did not seem to be bright or far thinking), killed any potential heir to the Sith throne with any "street cred" (Brandon, Bastila, "Moe,Larry and Curly from the Star Forge"). Slaughtered the entire Sith academy, robbed Korriban of all the really cooll Sith artifacts. Basically for them to be losing/lost a mere five years later must mean something drastic happened or Republic leaders are the worst in the galaxy. Maybe this is why Revan left? He just could not sit by and watch them mess things up so badly. I think Dustil will be a party member because of Telos but I am unsure of who else might appear. I hope Bastila rejoins, she could give some good insight on what happened to Revan and the war. I also would like to hear Jolee tell the tale. I hate you old man.
