i know its a bit of a stretch but maybe something jade empirish? little sped up though to reflect the speed of the jedi. and better blockin and dodging ability, so maybe you could do the one hit lightsaber kill like in the movie?

did anyone else here go to heavy.com and see the star wars fan movies? ie the 3 in particular, helmet chafe,imperial trooper, and imperial chopper. might i add that imperial trooper has a funny scene in the beginning with a jawa's head flyin off.

well one thing everyone seems to agree on here is that anakin is a complete whiny pain in the ass(to be refered to as PITA for now on), and that george lucas has a pretty big penchant for eating his own words and doing some pretty contriditoray things in his interviews/movies/books. but on a lighter scale i would like to officially dub myself as mace's long lost nephew who happend to find the lightsaber(purple) of a long fallen jedi......off to lukes academy(jedi knight 4 to be prodcued by obsidianent :D). ok..im done.

here here.... good arguments from both sides really. but I'll have to side with windu on this one. it just seems waaay too overbearing to plot out and plan a fight with a jedi master. the fact that he was obviously ready to kill him and be content with that on several occasions during the fight showed that it was no joke. now that is needless to say that palpatine didnt realize what he had gotten himself into at the end and took the grand oppurtunity to paint a pretty picture for anakin's arrival. with the position he was in, it is very easy to make it seem like windu is the bad guy in that particular situation. so the fight was real, but when things weren't going his way by sheer will of 'force' palpatine became the manipulative bastard. well at least in my eyes. seems like a fair and happy medium. :D

lol, helluva a family tree. i still particulary like the idea of being the disenfranchised padawan,left untrained after your master died during the jedi civil war. i mean its not too hard to work in, i mean you could go into unknown space and visit new planets with a fresh clean face. no generic mysterious past but the one that you create. (btw obsidian....give handmaide/briana some freakin hair for sequel. kinda a small push to get her in )

as i mope about reformatting my harddrive and losing my kotor 1 and 2 saves, i think back to all the fond memories i have.....ahhh slashing damage. then i stop and think, hermm....its missing something......o yea, epicness. did anyone else ever feel this? great story, powerful characters, but no over the top epic jedi battles, like in episode one. dont care what ya say about the movie, maul fighting obi wan and qi gon was cool as hell. i say lets help obsidian brainstorm ideas for epic battles. huge massive onslaughts on planets where you are in the middle of the madness...(in full stereo sound might i add ),big explosions,jedi cutting loose on their knowledge of the force....it'd be grand. it might be a base opinion, but i feel the last battle in kotor 2 was....missing...something. be glad to hear everyones opinion.

how bout for the main character a completly new person. i mean you did roleplay the part of revan/exile, but i mean play yourself. completly from the ground up, no back story but what you might tell people about yourself. a disenfranchised padawan as you might say, making your epic story as you go.

someone needs to mod this game so you can see visas face. i dont care if she has eyes like kreia, give her some hair and ill just look at the lips all game long.

i voted for mace windu. ok so im not a a purist in the star wars story, but humor me i saw him take out a platoon of droids single handidly on the clone wars cartoon in 5 minutes . then again ill assume it has some merit to it cause its done by lucasfilms. on another note since i never read the books and just get filled in by what i read in forums, did the story with the exile/revan ever pop up in the books, or was this completely fabricated for the games? i mean the complete destruction of the jedi order's main governing body(the counsel) would more than likely have been passed on by word of mouth one way or the other. just call this curious ambition. maybe should start another topic?

how about placing the pc in the middle of a few big battles, like dxun, battle at the end of episdoe 2 etc. i think it would be nice to once in awhile get to try out all my bad assidness on a grand scale, and rack up a ton of xp . maybe even show the pc in a cinema or 2 going nuts in the end of a boss fight or 2, use some shadowing, or throw the hood of their robe on, i think itd be a nice idea, although a little base would still add to the feel of epicness methinks.

ok, so i read around about people talkin about romances from the first few kotors and i was wondering what you guys thought about an idea for the in-evitable 3. maybe a quick selection of gender/ls,ds and then maybe bastila/carth, and/or somebody from 2 going off to find the exile in revan in unknown space. dont know, just kinda a wishy washy idea for a love story behind the next kotor, has some decent potential with the whole entire series questioning the jedi code and all. btw dont shoot me down too hard on this idea, just thought itd be kinda neat to take like bastila and briana as 2 lone jedi in unknown space hunting for loved ones.....with massive lightsaber slaughter throughout.

I tend to favor the extremes over the balance ie guardian/weaponmaster with high str,con,dex and a consular/sith lord with high chr/wis/int. just personal preference really, although im kinda interested in going sent/watchmen for the sneak attack bonus. think itd be kinda fun to run into a fight, stealth out and backstab people.
