Well Ros and I differ on this subject, no doubt about that. Those are embodied in the Imperium if you think about it... tyranni, political officers in the field (commissars), complete and utter disregard of the lives of their soldiers (and civilians), hell even the high peaked officer and commissar caps!

But you are also exterminating alien races, in some cases for no other reason than them being non-human. The Tau would want them to join their empire instead, the Imperium would never give them that option. The Imperium is sorta like the swedes, in there between good and evil somewhere.
