Well Ros and I differ on this subject, no doubt about that. I think it was vital that we had a change of government in 2001, not that I think this government is perfect, but it was the lesser of the two evils to be sure... but as for Sweden I'd just like to see Persson GTF outta office for good.
However, can one of the resident swedes tell me if I am correct in the assumption that the right wingers in sweden wants to have less immigration laws? I'm not sure where I read it, anyhow if that is so it sounds a bit strange from our pow.
And you're right Kaffy, sverigedemokraterne as well as dansk folkeparti are national socialists, they just can't say that they are because having that political mindset (a nationalistic socialist*) has been ruined by the horrors of the nazi regime in WWII Germany... Just as numerous old commie parties can't exactly call themselves commie, red this and that anymore either, they changed their names to something more subtle or hippie like. But the fact of the matter is that both are synonymous with mass killings of civilians and tyrannical regimes. The only real difference is that most often showing communist icons is widely accepted while similar icons of national socialism is considered outrageous, which I think is the peak of hypocrisy.
Note; I think both are abominable and should not be tolerated as some sort of public praise (Soviet T-shirts anyone?)
*Weren't the Soviets pretty nationalist for a communist nation? I mean "Great Patriotic War"... c'mon!
