  1. I'm an Atton fangirl--which I hope is obvious by now lol. Royal
  2. I just love Nicky Katt's voice, and his delivery in the role of Atton is just amazing. I was very impressed with his acting as well. Nick does a great job with the pompous, sarcastic lines. ("Is she still aging?" is hilarious with Nick's delivery). He really does a good job of making the character seem real. It feels like he is talking to the player--not just reading lines from a page. One more pic!: Royal
  3. Ever hear the expression "a face for radio"? Lol, indeed that is true. There is a great episode of "Are You Being Served?" highlighting that very topic. Anyway, the cut romance lines from Atton were pretty melodramatic (not that I didn't like them). I read them first then finally was able to get a copy of the voice file. Nick Katt made the lines moving! I also liked the deleted scene with Disciple/Atton--again the voices make a BIG difference. Nick Katt was perfect for the voice role, and could easily play the live action role--now that is a casting home run. You have probably all already read this, but here is a little piece about the voice casting in KOTOR II: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/kotor2/preview_6117544.html Royal
  4. So It's not normal to fantasize about a man's voice Well many women were obsesed wuth Cary Grant because of his voice, so it's pretty normal.
  5. I never used to watch Boston Public, but now I'm starting to want to (well, at least the episodes that he's in). Same here, I had seen him in a few movies before. He plays the threatening/hitman character quite well. You should cehck out Insomnia--it's a good movie and has pretty much Nick per square inch (even though he has a small role). Had to get that plug in, now back KOTOR II romances, or lack there of. Royal
  6. I myself find Nicky Katt really hot, but that's me. Who doesn't????? Admittedly, he plays some jerk characters, but come on, he's the most adorable actor to play an insane skinhead yet! Seriously though, Nick is a talented actor. Here is another Boston Public pic: and a close up: Royal
  7. Great pic Crimson! The hair do is spot on lol. Royal
  8. well we could just give him a name,I'll open the floor with"Ugly" ! That is the very talented Nicky Katt! (and yes he is the dude form Boston Public), but I don't think ugly... Royal
  9. LOL, well Atton is the illegal type. Anyway I'll get another, you'll just have to wait with baited breath to discover the identity of the look-a-like! Royal
  10. Lol, thanks for the info psycho_leo. This is kind of a cop out, but hey he does look like Atton: Royal
  11. Here is a Mulder Atton photo line up (pic of Atton from Crimson Keep lol) Atton (won't let me tag it) http://crimsonkeep.com/kotor2/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=8 PS: What the heck is up with this "Atton"?--not exactly a look-a-like... http://perso.wanadoo.fr/tsubasa/atton_olivier.htm Pretty similar!
  12. After scrolling through some of the KOTOR II avatars, I noticed that some bore stirking resemblances to celebrities. The first look-a-like I have here is actually from KOTOR I, but it is too close to pass up! See what you think: Not the best Carth pic, but I think the likeness is obvious in it lol. Anyone else notice look-a-likes? Royal
  13. And yes, he does look like an evil scumbag in those avatars. Me no likey. I agree! He looks a bit like the Matthew Lillard Shaggy in those pics. In the game Atton is kind of baby-faced--unless he goes dark side. Although he doesn't look much older than Han Solo in game and Han was about 34-5 I think. Are those avatars rejected game portraits, or are they concept art?
  14. I will change my terminology a bit lol. I believe any new jedi brought in are called "younglings" (based on Ep2) until they recieve a master at around 13 I believe (its in the sw.com databank someplace) I don't read much Expanded Universe material so that could be wrong. Once they become an apprentice then they are "padawans". If you watch the bonus material on Episode I, the point of the padawan braid was too indicate how many years they had been a padawan (the only hair that was not cut). At least that's how the convionced Ewan Mcgregor to shave his head and wear a braid Just an inetresting piece does not really help tell the initiation age though. (unless you can read hair like the rings on a tree trunk!) Royal
  15. Btw, not being all that familiar with SW lore - what's the general cut-off age for becoming a Padawan? Just curious. Well I'm not sure, but judging by Epsiode I, I think 7 is the cut off date--and they were making an exception for Anakin. I would assume it is around 7 though. I read somewhere that a younglin recieves a master at 13 and usually is a jedi by 25. It is not unlike the whole Medieval knight system. A page at 7, a Squire at 14, and a knight by 21. Although, I'm sure the Council knights people faster based on need or abilities. Royal
  16. Atton all the way for my #1 fave. He was funny, a great fighter, he could break into stuff, and fought with Disciple. His comments early on are hilarious, it is just unfortunate he didn't get to conitnue his backstory (as has been pointed out). I brought him everywhere with me. I even tried to get his and her jedi outfits for the Exile and Atton (I lost it a long time ago lol). Disciple is difficult to stand at first, but as Silvershadow says, you graduallky get used to him. I like his line "that's hardly surprising" too. Bao-Dur--I had trouble getting used to his voice--I expected James Earl Jones I guess, but the voice turned out to be great. He has some good dialogue, great skills and seems to be a very loyal follower. He also has a hilarious scene with Atton about the female Exile. However, after a certain point I couldn't get him to say anything. Finally, one of my faves form KOTOR I and II has to be T3! You go droid! Royal
  17. I figured that the Exile was slightly younger than Revan as well. It just seemed that the Exile was less experienced, or at least a "newer" knight. I think the Exile was close in age to Atton; it's especially obvious in the feamle story. He treats Disciple as the "kid" and acts as though the Exile is closer to his own age. So they are probably both around 35. I think Disciple at 22/3 is accurate as well. As for Carth, I believe he was around 38-40. Was Dustil 20? I thought he was 16, maybe it was just his demeanor lol. Royal
  18. This is slightly frivolous, but I was wondering what the character age ranges were. It helps to give some context to the game. Perhaps the strategy guide says something, or I just missed any specific references in the game. I assume that the Exile is around 30. Any ideas? Thanks, Royal
  19. I have not yet played the third time through--hopefully will get a chance soon. I have heard about the cut content and heard clips of the "Are you an Angel" line. I got the impression that most of the bonus material for a female Exile anyway on the third time ocurrs early on Peragus, is that accurate? (don't want to skip past something). Just wanted to clarify something, you only have to beat the game Light Side and Dark Side, not male and female to get the bonus material right? Thanks Royal
  20. The name "Jaq" comes from the Prima Guide. Fairly unreliable, but there it is. Thanks for the info, how does that come up in the guide? In tyhe character introductions, or in some tell all section? Thanks again, Royal
  21. I did not see any threads asking about this (I apologize if there are). I was curious, are there any plans at Lucasarts/film to create novelizations for either of the KOTORS? Thanks, Royal
  22. "Oh Yeah well I'm more "Atton" than Atton will ever be." Thanks, that was the line. Highly suspicious indeed. Maybe he stole the name of someone he killed? Maybe he just rearranged his real name though like some actors do (Robert Conrad for instance). The name Midnigt Hawk proposed for Atton, "Randy Jaq", connoted this. Maybe some easter egg will turn up revealing the name. Royal
  23. Twi'lek: Your human companion, the male one, we have seen him here before. Exile: Who? Atton? Twi'lek: That was the name we knew him by. That is highly annoying! They tease you with the prospect of new knowledge and deny it at the last minute! I can't off hand (haven't had the chance to play in ages), but does anyone know what the dialogue options were with Atton directly after the conversation with the twil'eks? I remember him saying "I'm the most Atton that Atton could be" or something like that--it was quite funny. I can't remember if you ever get to say something like "if that is your real name" though. Were there any records of the prisoners on Pergaus? Perhaps they had Atton's real name in the files? However, "Atton Rand" was probably the name he used there too even if there are records. Royal
  24. I don't know about the whole Atton Presley thing--& Anyway, I was thinking, how many people in the SW universe actually use their real names?? Revan was going by a different name for most of KOTOR I (Although amnesia was involved) and "Han Solo" doesn't sound like a real name to me! Did either of those twil'ek characters on Nar Shadda indicate in the slightest what Atton's real name might be?
  25. Kreia and her lying manipulations! She nearly ruined any hopes for an Atton/Exile romance with all her murderer talk! If you think about it, Kreia rarely calls him "Atton"--usually murderer, or fool. I remember early on I said "he has a name you know"--Kreia never mentiones what his real name is though (at least not the way I played). Maybe there is some reference to his name in a holovid concerning the Mandalorian wars? Royal
