As a dog person and a Nicky fan, I thought that was pretty cool. Same here lol, I like that Nick has a big, junkyard dog instead of one of those trendy Britney Spears ones... I will point out that Royal is the one who always brings up new Nicky Katt pictures or random facts about him. Yep, I admit I do occasionally post pics and bring up random facts, like the fact that Nick has a tattoo of his idol Roy Rogers, and that he did all his own stunt driving for "Way of the Gun", but I don't do it that often...or at least too often. Speaking of random facts, can anyone see which lines Nick is reading in that pic? Just sort of curious... Also, Dolph isn't too bad for Canderous, I still like Kurt Russell as a Canderous look-a-like too. I'll be back once I find more pics and random facts lol, Royal

You're right, he almost never smiles even for publicity pics. I have seen him genuinely smile in only one of his films (so far)--"Speakeasy". He plays a nice guy who builds music boxes and helps people (totally unlike his other works). He still seems a bit--gruff in it though. Nick always seems to have 5'oclock shadow which I think would work with Atton's overall appearance. Whats realy strange is not only does Katts not look anything like Atton, hes not even an attractive guy to boot. His whussy, pseudo-intellectual, compassionate educator garb was the crowning turd, in the dung pile that was Boston Public Yeah Boston Public was pretty bad, I really didn't even watch any of it. But Nick not attractive? I am forced to disagree lol--shocker I know. You should see Nick in some other stuff, don't know what his character was like too much in BP, but most of the characters he plays aren't wussy. He usually plays a villainous hitman, or otherwise gun toting badass such as SubUrbia or Way of the Gun. But if by wussy you mean "jerk" they yeah, he usually plays jerks lol. Also found this description of characters Nicky usually plays--think it fits Atton pretty well... "Nicky Katt -- with the hunched up shoulders, the squint in the dark eyes, the flare of the nostrils. Seldom smiling, cool and edgy on the surface, but a volcano boiling underneath. A keeper of dark secrets - a man whose characters always carry their sad past along with them..." Royal

I actually see the resemblance in those pics, nice work lol. It wouldn't surprise me if Katt were actually in my living room for a dinner party, that he might remind me more of Atton then If Nick were ever actually in my living room, well he'd probably never be allowed to leave lol. Actually, you're right, straight up pics can't give you the idea alone. I reccomend seeing Nick in the film "Boiler Room", or perhaps, if you prefer, "Way of the Gun" to get the resemblance down more. It's an impressionistic kind of thing. I had a question regarding the Atton character model. I remember there used to a different model one that looked more like Doogie Howser mixed with Dash Rendar if I recall correctly (anyone have a pic? I saw one here ages ago). Anyway, the model definitely changed. I was curious to see if the casting of Nicky Katt had anything to do with that. In which case, we would all have to conclude that Nick is the ultimate Atton look-a-like lol. Ron-Carth is certainly the best I've seen--better than the baseball player I suggested WAY back on the first page of this thread. Ron would look great in that jacket too. Royal

First, I think Atton probably does have tattoos, maybe a heart tat with the Exile's name in it. As far as the Nicky Katt stalkers club, I'd be more than happy to fill the "secretary of stalking" position lol. The Friends ep? lol, I just watched an ep of King of the Hill just to hear his voice for 2 (or less) mins! (okay i might have watched it anyway--funny ep) I also found out that he plays a break-dancing Hitler in "Full Frontal"--go figure.
