Whoa, I have been gone for a while. Been in a Star Wars daze since Episode III came out I suppose. Anyway, I came across some clips of a show that Nick will be starring in on ABC. It is a lot easier to note the likeness after seeing some films. Nick usually always plays the Atton type character. However, I still think the likeness is pretty close, ofcourse I'm totally biased. I did acknowledge that Joe Flanigan is acceptable though! He is a great actor--actually this thread has caused me to become unfortunately addcited to SG-Atlantis, which isn't the worst thing in the world. Royal

Lol, I did not have to go that far to remember--Nick is up at the IMDb homepage--must be the most famous celeb born today--who definitely looks like Atton. I still haven't found someone who I think looks more like Atton. Joe Flanigan was the best alternative though. Royal

It is a bit hard to forget about George and Blackadder lol, but he is semi-serious in "House". He really doesn't do many serious films come to think of it lol. He was in "Stuart Little", "The Borrowers" and "Valiant". He is a very talented actor though, his American accent in "House" is very believable and he is quite funny. Maybe he should just take over the role of HK--he has the obnoxious, dark comedy down in "House".. He would be like the new Anthony Daniels lol Royal

Actually, I had already done that prior to seeing it... I already had found the same pic online last week. I should have found that last week, more like a couple months ago! I've been deprived of that pic too long! I actually think it comes from the film "SubUrbia" or at least its similar to Nick's look in that. It would be great if I could fins a pic of Nick with some kind of sci-fi costume, but I don't think he has really done any (besides "V"). The only Carth look-a-like I have found is Sean Casey--and that didn't go over too well lol. It's actually a lot harder to find a Carth look-a-like than I htought it would be. Though I will give you this much: the man is hot. Ditto, I watched an ep of SG Atlantis after seeing Joe Flanigan in a promo where he says "I'm flirting...with an alien" lol. He does act a bit like Atton on the show--he flirts all the time and has a sarcastic attitude. According to IMDb, Joe Flanigan had a history major in college--that is worth a few points in my book . I still think Nick Katt would be a better choice. He simply looks more like Atton to me. It's easier to see the similarity if you check out one of Nick's movies. Royal

if you just grow his hair out a bit, he IS Atton (though Nicky does look a lot better with short hair). I think Nick tends to look better with short hair, but here is a shot of him with longer hair (a little difficult to see) from the third season of Boston Public. Nick has the looks, voice and demeanor to pull off Atton's character brilliantly. Nick also does a great job of playing chracters with secrets--who have trouble communicating. Besides, if they only look like Atton that wouldn't cut it in my book--they have to be able to say "pure pazzak" just right lol. That Mical look-a-like thing is a bit odd. If you run up and take a pic of him--he might get suspicious--maybe you can get a police sketch lol. Anyway, I don't know about Tobey Maguire. He is a pretty good actor, but I can't see him as Atton. In the screens you posted there does seem to be a certain resemblance though. I'll see if I can come up with anymore. Royal
