  1. This is a public forum, not a peronal blog, really no need to open a thread to announce that you would have a week off.
  2. But crafting/ enchanting is exactly to do that, right? sorry, I misunderstood your idea before. I have thought that you mean giving elemental damage type to every unique item directly, I would not against the idea of giving elemental enchanting recipes to them.
  3. Bad idea. Why should every unique item has an elemental damage type? For most of them, physical damage is enough, damage type should be related to the item's lore, if a sword does not have lore relate to fire, then it should not have fire damage .
  4. Very interesting mod. As you will make more unique weapons, is it possible to inport new weapon models now? Or you will just reuse the existed models?
  5. What do you mean? There is no any quest bug blocking the game progress now. ANf although there are still some bugs here and there, it is hard to consider the game is "borked öike hell".
  6. Well, I want to make a Multi-class character with both Darcozzi Paladin and Priest of Magran, but I found that these two class are not compatible. I did go through characters.gamedatabundle but didn't find out where to define the conflict of two sub-class, can someone help? Edit: Nevermind, I find it. It is defined by the PositiveDispositionsIDs and NegativeDispositionsIDs in the factions.gamedatabundle file
  7. This is probably the same problem I reported in a previous topic. I didn't notice that the problem is caused by 1.02 though, since I purchase PoE2 after the release of 1.1 . Besides what OP saids, I also have something to added: 1, this issue does not only happen on Pallegina, but on all characters with female human body (including female human characters and female human-size godlike characters). 2, thanks to the pre-1.02 screenshot post by the OP, I can now illustrate the problem clearer. This is a pre-1.02 screenshot (I found it here, the same uploader of OP's pre-1.02 screenshot), shows the sword and the scabbard of WotEP in their correct size. And here is a screenshot taken in the latest version (v1.1) , shows Pallegina with the same weapon in (almost) the same posture and camera angle. Compare these two images, you can find that when the weapon is pull out, the size of the sword itself does not change through game versions, but the size of the scabbard bacome weirdly smaller. That is the problem: when the weapon is pulled out, it is still in its correct size, but the scabbard and the weapon on character's back become small after v1.02. I guess this may be problem cause by the bone/animation?
  8. The mod I have made only replace the model of Whisper of the Endliss Paths, but yes, it is also possible to mod a new weapon with this model.
  9. an unused greatsword weapon model: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/102483-unused-content-a-zweihander-like-greatsword-weapon-model/ I also find more unused weapon models after this one, will show them later.
  10. When digging into the art files of PoE2, I found an unsed greatsword weapon model. The size of this greatsword is exactly same of Whisper of the Endliss Paths, and it also has a zweihander-like design, but with a simpler, straight blade. In the art assets files, this sword model is marked as w_gs08 (and Whisper of the Endliss Paths is w_gs09), the model file also has a name greatsword_alec. I don't remember there is a character called Alec, maybe this is a name of a Dev? It is actually my favourite greatsword model in PoE2, I'm quite curious about what is the model suppose to be originally. and really hope the Dev can bring it back in the future DLCs or somewhat. For people who want to try this sword in game, I made a littel mod change the model of Whisper of the Endliss Paths into this unused model, you can find it here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/102482-graphic-mod-change-the-model-wotep-to-a-unused-greatsword-model/ Screenshots:
  11. As I said in a thread in general discussion forum (https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/102483-unused-content-a-zweihander-like-greatsword-weapon-model/ ),When digging into the art assets files of PoE2, I found an unused greatsword weapon model. To modders: the asset path of this model is "ModelVisualDataPath": "prefabs/items/appearance/weapons/great_sword/a_gs08_v01.asset" . Btw, This greatsword model does not have its according weapon icon. I made a little mod to change the model of Whispers of the Endless Paths into this unused model, you can find it in the attachment file. Screenshots: WoEP_AlterModel.zip
  12. Description: A simple mod that remove the scabbard of the magnificent sword Whispers of the Endless Paths, for those who don't like scabbard on a zweihander-like sword. Download: see the attach file below Screenshots: WoEP_no_Scabbard.zip
  13. Description: As the screenshots below shows, the weapon model looks very small on the back of the character, but when the weapon is pulled out, it turn into the normal size. It is also noticeable that to swords, when the sword is pulled out, the sword itself is bigger than the scabbard. If the screenshots are not obvious enough, you can compare it in game. This issue is most obvious on female human characters (and female human-size godlike, since they use the same body), but it also happens to characters with other body type. I know this might be just a minor issue, but it is still quite annoying, please fix it if possible. Screenshots:
  14. Descrption: When a male character wearing a VTC Plate Armour, it shows up as an unique golden model: But When a female charcter wearing a VTC Plate Armour, it just shows up as the normal plate armour model:
  15. I just don't know what's wrong with "military weapon"? Weapons are firstly made for military use, If my fighter is a soldier from an army or a mercenary formerly, of course he should carry a military weapon rather than a fencing weapon for duel.
  16. Pretty sure the greatswords are inspired by historical longswords, not zweihanders. Also, most flamberges were actually rapier variants. Well, I do not mean that I aganist the longsword-like greatsword, I just think that zweihander-like weapon should also in the game refer to the technology level of the PoE world. While that's a different matter, you do need to see that zweihanders were military weapons used for breaking helmets from behind the very front line, or to break up pike formations. It's not entirely known how they were used (few sources and all that), but it is known they weren't really used much in individual duels or in skirmish combat, which is what this game is showing us. I honestly don't mind leaving them out, and I do think it's too late to try and get them in now. The art assets would be quite expensive I would think, not to mention animations. I don't think this is a reason. All weapons are "military weapons" which are not made for duel or skirmish combat especialy, except for the rapier. For example pike a weapon use in the battle array not for duel, should it be cut from the game? Though I know it may be too late to talk about this, too.
  17. If this is a 3d game like The Elder Scrolls, it would be important to make sure the weapons are in correct size, but for these Isometric games like PoE, i don't mind the weapons are oversize at all.

  19. Hello guys. Though I don't get a Backer Beta permission, I watched many of yous playing the Beta on Twitch and I noticed the greatsword weapon models in PoE. Well, generally speaking, I think those "greatswords" are too short that just like bastard swords. And more imporantly, they're almost swords in the mid-medieval era style, since the world of PoE is reach the technology level of late Middle Ages or even early modern era and there are so many Renaissance era style weapons( such as arquebus, estoc and rapier) and armours(such as paladin's brest-plate) i the game, shouldn't the greatswords of PoE looks like the zweihanders or flamberges in 16th century?
