  1. It's a printed book then?
  2. It's exactly the same thing, if you're following the "love" ending. She can't come with you, blah blah blah. If you get her to hate you, she'll end up being bitter and mistrustful about Jedi. I tihnk if you get her to like you, she'll stick with the Jedi path. Of course, you could just read the dialog files...
  3. You can only get Handmaiden to answer that question during your first converstaion with her on the Ebon Hawk. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, cool... I kept thinking I did something wrong.
  4. Well, at the end Kreia will give you a few throwaway lines about each planet, depending on what you did.
  5. You have to wonder if it's a characterization of Jedi, or if the writers (from every bit of the EU) are just too lazy.
  6. It's a tie between Revan/Carth and Exile/Atton, simply because the two cut endings (from both games) are so tragic and beautiful. Though, I think the Han/Leia theme might fit better for both pairings.
  7. Yeah, it becomes more clear at the end, when she explains everything... in that vague way that Jedis usually do.
  8. Ooo... July can't come soon enough.
  9. Or you can download the "mindprobe" mod from www.pcgamemods.com On the subject of handmaiden... I have a 100 influence with her, yet I still can't get her to talk about Atris (and her feelings for the Exile). Is there anything else I need to trigger before that happens, or is this a bug?
  10. I found the ending okay. I mean, there are some bits missing from the ending which would have made it much more dramatic and tragic, but as is, it isn't as bad as people said it was. Still, if there is no KoTOR3, I suppose by default I'll have to hate it.
  11. Yeah, I remember reading about a lot of that cut stuff... and some of it is pretty noticiable - the Sandpeople thing especially. The cut planet also makes me believe that Yuthara would have been a recruitable PC, as it's pretty convenient that she was a former slave from that planet. (And her story is almost the same as Juhani's... AND you get to redeem her... )
  12. ^ Yeah, that's true. I mean, arguably, the only reason why Revan turns good is because of the brain wipe that Bastila gives him/her... (if Revan turns good at all, that is). Still, it doesn't make the whole back story more interesting I suppose.
  13. I actually think this ending is much more satisfying that the KoTOR1 ending, where nothing happens except a random medal ceremony. (I liked Gaider's personal "Denoument", but it goes against canon.) This ending tells you what happens to everything and everyone, and then sends you off to fight the Sith (or teach others to fight the Sith). Hell, both the DS and the LS endings are so "gray" that there's really just one ending either way - you help Revan. The cut stuff is even better, because in KoTOR1, your entire party just disappears...
  14. So what then? Kreia wanted to teach the Exile who to kill the force so that he could kill the "True" Sith out in the unknown regions?
  15. It is kind of weird that a Sith lord would rally the Sith to fight... other Sith... Though, I suppose that fulfills that whole "Sith killing Sith for power" thingie.
  16. What's TWT? Anyhoo, nice work. Though, I just can't picture Malak without the steel jaw...
  17. Yeah, it's actually further evidence of Juhani's "slash" relationship with that character. Basically, she tries to kill you for killing Juhani.
  18. What's the cutscene like? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's almost similar to the Atton/Disciple scene... Handmaiden gets all pissy, but Visas disarms her by being reasonable. If you trigger this one (by having more INF with Visas, you can also see the Mira/Handmaiden scene (which is the same as the Mira/female PC dialog about men). Also, if you have much more INF with Visas than Handmaiden, you can trigger two cutscenes between Handmaiden/Kreia, where Kreia basically says she didn't try hard enough to keep the PC from the darkside/being corrupted by Visas.
  19. Hrm, well, if LA fired some of the dev team, then we probably won't see one for a while...
  20. Seems to be too late... didn't even know there was a poll option... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I say Kreia. I don't care if she said she was a jedi master and was a sith lord at Telos. But she still striked me as generally evil. Plus all of her diolouge was pretty evil. There are millions of starwars fans who thought that Palpatine wasn't Sidious because he didn't even passed off remotely to evil. Heck before Ep3 even hardcore fans thought Sidious wasn't Palpatine. But Kreia after meeting her she just stroke me as evil. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, what tipped me off (other than the nose) was that he was pretty much pulling a "Hitler" by giving himself more and more powers under the pretense of war... Dictators = evil... You get the feeling that Kreia is evil right off the bat, but after a while, I sorta thought that she might be KoTOR2's version of Jolee Bindo... then, of course, the ending happens.
  21. I think Aurora will be sure to give Atton the fan-girl treatment due to him ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yay. I'm calm now. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What about poor Disciple? He doesn't get anything...
  22. http://www.pcgamemods.com/5326/ There used to be a dialog tree online somewhere, but it's gone.
  23. Seems to be too late... didn't even know there was a poll option...
  24. I just watched Episode 3... and I'm reminded of how painfully obvious it is that Palpatine is evil... Now, let's say that KoTOR2 didn't have the scenes where Kreia manipulates Hanharr, Tobin and Atton... would you still have guessed that she is Darth Traya? Is she more or less subtle than Palpatine is in the movies?
