So...... who is up for the Rexall Challenge? Take both together! You should probably pick up some laundry detergent while you're there!

Going down to Louisiana tomorrow. Spending five days fishing at the Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge. I'm just ready for some warm weather.

Rename the James web space telescope to the Harriet Tubman space telescope I thought this was satire at first but they’re being serious. I have a better idea. Let’s not honor people from the past at all. No more statues, no more monuments, no more naming things after people. The James Webb space telescope will be the fourth telescope of its type if I’m not mistaken. So we should just name at the Delta telescope. Oh wait I forgot the Greeks were white. And they kept slaves. Now I guess that won’t do. Can anyone think of an ancient people who didn’t do terrible **** to some other people? Me neither. -

California teachers union president caught dropping his kid off at private school You have to love the hypocrisy. This is the guy that’s fighting to keep the schools closed. And why not? Doesn’t affect him does it? As scandal goes this is definitely small time. And it has nothing to do with the logistical problems public schools face during a pandemic. But it does look bad and I think hypocrisy should be exposed and ruthlessly mocked and ridiculed. -

Rooster kills man during rooster fight Apparently there was some confusion on the rooster's part about whom he was supposed to be fighting In all seriousness **** fighting is cruel, despicable, and barbaric. The rooster in this story killed his owner and in my book the SOB had it coming. -

@Gromnir I don't recall getting into a twist over Biden and his plagiarism or Melania and hers. I'm sure I've mentioned it and almost certainly mocked and ridiculed it. Not like I thought he had a shred of integrity before that came out 30 years ago, but it's not something I give much of a s--t about. Maybe I did but I don't remember. As you already know in my book they are all scum in the same pond. Republicans, Democrats, all trash. -
Winter is coming

This would be the weekend I'd turn the garden soil and start fertilizing for planting. But I'm a little concerned we're not done with freezing temps yet. Better to wait, stay inside and play computer games. So.... Father is my son huh? I wasn't expecting that. Not sure what is more amazing. That I didn't see that coming or that I managed to avoid that spoiler for six years. But then I was surprised to find out I was Darth Revan and that Bruce Willis was dead the whole time too. Just curious... if both nate and nora were black or asian did they change Father to match? Not going to play it again and was just curious how far they paid attention to detail.

Sunset at Gale Crater, Peace Vallis on Mars. Taken by the Curiosity rover (the older one not the new one) on 12/30/2020. This was Curiosity's 3011th Sol on Mars -

“The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?” The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.” Genesis 18: 22-27 NIV. well as it turned out Abraham couldn’t even find 10 righteous men in Sodom. But it looks like Harrison Arkansas has at least one. The girl that gave him the note. -

. Nope, not a drop since middle of last year. But I wouldn’t worry overly much about the sipping whiskey business. They will do just fine without my contributions! Seriously are the only thing I drink nowadays are black coffee, unsweet iced tea and water. And Gatorade sometimes. And juice sometimes. I’ve cut way back on the amount of carbohydrates I eat. Most of my meals are now just protein and vegetable. And the majority the vegetables are the ones I grow. Can’t say the same about the meat because I can’t bring myself to actually kill my livestock. I get too attached to them.

Not really. Although I should. I’ve got arthritis in my shoulder and both knees and still have soreness from the accident sometimes. But I am active and walk a lot. Even walking to cold creek is about a 20 minute walk each way with a decent incline on the way back. Plus I do eat right and I have completely given up booze

Bah empire the AI was terrible. Infantry would crouch behind a wall even if they were flanked and getting fired on from behind. Come to that I don’t think they ever tried to maneuver to prevent being flanked. And in the naval games I can’t tell you how many galleons I captured with a single frigate by just staying in front of them and turning periodically to fire at their masts. Cavalry would charge straight at squares, it was a hot mess. I could easily go in there and defeat an army two or three times my size.

Dealing with one of my frequent bouts of insomnia. So I was sitting on the front porch at 3o’clock in the morning trying to decide what the best total war game was. After much consideration I decided the original Medieval TW was the best.

Always figured that was the most likely way we go out. Speaking of oceans and plate tectonics, imagine what would the earth look like with no moon. Or a moon of heavier or lighter mass even. It is a beautiful system isn’t it? So perfectly balanced. -

Will have to work out Jupiters batting average to be sure. But if the moon actually had an atmosphere a good deal of whatever made those craters would’ve burned up before hitting the ground. And would’ve been much smaller once it did impact the ground. Plus if the moon had a decent atmosphere enough they could keep up a good pressure even if it’s not breathable we would probably have people living there
