  1. You hit hard with flails as a paladin?  I am not being sarcastic I think its great I just have not been able to find a class that can hit hard with a flail except fighters with a Weapon Mastery of Adventurer (maybe a rogue with sneak attack?).  Also not a total fan of crush only weapons thanks to the White March.

I would love a Flail Paladin but never did it because flails are a fast weapon and hit like we noodles.  I will try this.

  2. So on my last complete Triple Crown I only used a 2man front  with my Darcozzi MC and Eder.  That 2 man combo turned the eyeless into bunny rabbits.  Disciplined Barrage, Coord attacks, Marking wep and Liberating Exhortation + Eder with Abydons hammer was insta kill Eyeless contantly  :nuke:  lmao

I am not a power gamer by any means but seriously the force multiplier of offensive power that a Darcozzi gives the party I think is just far Superior to other Paladin talents.  I dont think its necessary but man its good.

Any other good combos that you guys have found for eyeless?

  3. As long as you're not doing Trial of Iron there's nothing wrong with save & reload. ;)

I did this non-shifting druid build once (Batsh!t Crazy) and although I didn't do a full solo run with him I did some bounties solo (PotD) just to see how he fares. He was one of the easiest ones because some of the mid to high level druid spells are very powerful. Once Relentless Storm is up it's all a cakewalk.

But a strong spiritshift build is a lot of fun, too. Speedy melee hits with over 100 damage are very satisfying.

Booooooooooooooooo, ToI for life! Just messing  Once a druid gets returning storm and its more high level companion you will start wrecking (other then spores) stuff easily.  Until then Boeroer's advice is on point (as usual).

sweet thanks my friend.  Speaking of....this is the first time on my Paladin I dont use plate...lol I didnt get Oscrics cause i messed it up and talked to Penhelm so I am using an upgraded Exceptional Hand and Key until i can get Ryonas.  How did you feel your survivabitliy was throughout the game compared to plate.  I do like the shorter recovery times for LoH and Exhortations.  and ya because of the paladins high deflection their are a lot of grazes and misses so DR isnt an issue...but when you do get hit it will hurt a lot more lol

I prefer using Sanguine Plate with my Paladin. It looks cool and the Frenzy proc is great; paladins have so many great talents I prefer not to get Outlander's Frenzy for him or her. And it's faster than Ryona's breastplate once you durganize it.

Truth and if i was running around with a 2hander i would..but this guy is like Boeroer's Counciler Ploi in that hes a tank/support other then his quick switch Arbalests which he uses to burst bad guys down.  So most of the time i have my marking spear and outworn buckler.  Therefore I am not taking crits.  I have Eder on the team and hes a 2handed fighter so hes got Sanguine.

PS just took my first negative point ever on a Paladin...got aggressive on a Goldpact Knight for the spear quest lol I HAD to attack him and I sided with Doemenel so I had no other marking quest option...I am tempted to take Untroubled Faith but its only a -1 to fort, reflex and will......not a big deal.  Just bothering me lol...Damn Expert MODE!  I really didnt feel like my answer was that aggressive :(

  6. Dude thats blasphemy.  Paladin is one of the most versatile classes.  and you can forgo almost every defensive skill (except weapon and shield style imo) and serve your team in 3 ways.  Tank, Support (you can be a HUGE offensive force multiplier or make your frontline extremely tanky and your backline not squishy) and extremely good burst/ AOE damage...  On my last play through with a huge INT paladin he went from 4th in damage to 2nd at the end of the game thanks to Sacred Immolation.

  7. Not even a little bit of constitution on a tank character? (Even negative on Boeroer's build?) Is the stat really viewed as so worthless?

Ya dude i know.  I love high HP type tanks but in this game the percentage you get (even after the buff...in the original game the % was abysmal ) per point isnt good enough.  Might is much more useful and you get the same defense (Fort)...

That being said I like having extra HP for sacred immolation....so i can rest less.  So i have (although it was not very power gamey) had Paladins start with like a 12 CON and raise it throughout the game with those certain decisions you can make...now it limits you in three ways though...Only 2 orders can make those decisions for those points in Con and not be penalized so you have to pick one of those two......or you have to take Untroubled Faith...its already hard enough to squeeze everything I want in a build...(was even worse when the level cap was 12!).

I hope they make CON a lot better in Deadfire as I am huge HP tank fan lol
