  1. Have you played any? Start from number I and tell me there isn't drastic change in each game.
  2. FFXII is looking good. I'm happy that Square-Enix, after all these years still isn't afraid of change.
  3. Xbox syndrome? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The game is on Xbox also, which might explain why the graphics are pretty generic and the controls just don't feel right on the PC.
  4. I was about to post something like that. I don't know much story is involved in the NPC allies in NWN2, if they are worked in really well I would rather have KOTOR type system. However, if they have very vague reasons for joining you and are expendable... I would like to see a BG approach... I also like the idea of being able to accidently kill your own allies... Fallout did that well.
  5. I can't remember the last time I didn't do a Full-Install.
  6. My first graphic card was a Nvidia Geforce MX 440... piece of junk, but I played Final Fantasy XI for a hole year before it stopped working all together (w/ a Celeron!). Second card was a Geforce 6800. Great card. I would still be using it but I got a great deal on a ATI X800XL so I took it.
  7. Playing through Shin Megami Tensei I right. Pretty interesting game so far. It's like the Japanese version of Fallout (which I'm playing also).
  8. Just tried it. Bio suit mentions that I broke my leg or something and it's giving me morphine... It's done a hole lot better then Halo and it isn't constant.
  9. Half-Life 2 and FEAR. Or is my memory failing me again? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope.
  10. Health regeneration isn't standard... I've only seen Call of Duty 2 using it besides Halo.
  11. Darque/Volourn... Why would you want to take care of six disc instead of just one? Why would you want to have to keep changing CDs while installing a game rather then just popping in one DVD? Why would you want to spend hours backing up stuff on tons of CDs rather then a couple of DVDs?
  12. Well, the game isn't based on some far off fantasy land... You gotta expect that kind of stuff. I loved Fallout 2. I tried playing Fallout 1, but it honestly just looked and felt like more of the same thing, so I never got around to it.
  13. I don't see why this is even a question... DVD, more space, more uses, more everything.
  14. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just depends on what story you find more interesting. Find the Water Chip or find the Creation kit...
  15. Pretty ignorant statement all around... <_<
  16. What the hell? What possible advantage could CDs have over DVDs when it comes to installing games? I love my DVD burner... I remember having to backup all my old stuff on tons of CDs... Now it's just a couple of DVDs. :D
  17. I have been teaking so that I an get a right balance of high FPS and graphical out put. Except for AA, whic I brought down to x4 I was able to increase the resolution and turn on self shadows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Self-shadow is ugly...
  18. Yup, but you know there will be people paying for one at ten times the value on Ebay.
  19. I don't plan to buy one at launch. Absolutely nothing that is worth playing (to me) will be available... But around that time, so much PS2/DS goodness is coming out. :D
  20. 120???? Holy... As a side note: now that I have a better grasp of what the Persona series is based on, my appreciation of it has grown even more <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thing I love about SMT games is that even among the different series (Persona, Devil Summoner, etc) there always seem to be a lot croos referencing going on... Play Nocturne again (or DDS) and tell me you don't get goose bumps every time you hear the word rumor. Yeah, perfect works is pricy. Low print, high demand... you know the drill.
  21. Thank you, I'm glad it's not as expensive as Xenogears Perfect Works ($120!).
  22. I think most of the gothic style art work isn't even in game... It's just part of the packaging and manuals.
