  1. Sadly, you're right. The world is divided into several different geo-political spheres, with the bigger ones (Russia, China, India, EU + US as the unquestionable #1) doing as they please. The UN is used as a tool for their own interests and their goverments political agenda. What buggers me though, is the hypocrisy of the US claiming to be the shining lighthouse of freedom and equality, but they still use the same tactics as those with less democratic goverments. Either you be cynical, realistic a**hole like the rest, or try doing some good(almost impossible).
  2. More or less as Gorth stated: "KotOR II was a better roleplaying-experience, while KotOR I was the better game".
  3. 'nuff said
  4. There was a quote somewhere in a Gamebiz article about the Xbox version of KotOR II has sold atleast 1 million. While i do not have the sales figures of of the PC version of KotOR II, i do know that KotOR I sold atleast 2.5 million worldwide(both versions), because Bioware told me so.
  5. I'm sure they'll all have trouble sleeping because of that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> +1 KotOR 2 sold atleast 1 million copies worldwide. A great carrot for LA and Obsidian.
  6. I've changed my mind. The war will end when George Bush says so.
  7. It will end when there's no more terrorists around.
  8. The Revolution will ofcourse, be much more underpowered than the PS3 and Xbox360.
  9. I'll probably get them at the following order: 1. Revolution (cheapest, most interesting concept) 2. Playstation 3 (the games) And then, maybe a Xbox360.
  10. Bleh, after reading Battlewookie's link about Obsidianent NOT being another KotOR-game.... ...it will be a Bethesda project or a Lucasarts inhouse-game, yay.
  11. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I somehow connected that quote with these kinds of people.
  12. I know that Bush has done things that are very unethical IMO. But what exactly has he done the break any U.S. law?
  13. Bah, i like japanese culture. Especially the Samurai and their bushido-code. And to really biased, i think that their view on honor is superior to any other culture. This is ofcourse enhanced by watching too many Akira Kurosawa movies
  14. FFX had Auron to counterbalance Tidus. Hopefully Bash does the same for FFXII.
  15. Hey! I used that one until the very end
  16. I bought it 3 months ago. The graphics are somewhat old, but the music and story got me hooked until the end. Excellent game.
  17. Yes, i started this thread as a funny result of my suprising discovery of game library. Of course it had to dumb down to generalization and elitism. Sad, sad, sad.
  18. (This for consoles only) I recently did count of my gaming library and noticed how many japanese games that i have compared to the rest of the world: Japanese: 22 The rest: 13 Thus, the japanese titles take up 62% of all my games. How's your library? (This was conducted on my Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube libraries.)
  19. Mira was pretty Iron Maiden-ish. Unfortunately she failed to deliver. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup, she could've been John Rambo with a set of t1ts. Thus, the reason on how they can set things straight with KotOR III.
  20. I haven't even played the game, but i wager that Resident Evil 4 will win GOTY. The only thing i've heard about that game is one praise after the other.
  21. Request: The love interest in KotOR III should be a Mandalorian female, the series need an Iron Maiden for once.
  22. Deus Ex: IW is sequel where the soundtrack was its own compared to the original. The only tune that was the same was the theme, the rest of songs were completely new. Halo 2's soundtrack on the other hand, had too many similarities compared to the original.
  23. The artist is Eric Brosius. My alltime favorite, as he did some of this stuff: http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/music/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ooh. Me like. Edit: With the bloodlines licenced music folder...can I add songs to that? Or to any of the other folders, for that matter? I'd like a wider variety in songs... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The first Halo had a very good soundtrack, but the second seemed to have the very same, sometimes the key was diffirent, sometimes a another instrument was added and so on. Thus, very little original songs.
  24. The artist is Eric Brosius. My alltime favorite, as he did some of this stuff: http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/music/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Paljon kiitoksia. I've been looking for that one for a while.
  25. Soundtracks in general are 50% of the game experience IMO. Even FPS's need a good score (not a necessarily a grand one) to make the player immersed in the game. I can give some examples of games with excellent soundtracks that made the game much better: - Unreal 1 (Alexander Brandon) - Deus Ex 1(same) - System Shock 2 (Unknown artist, maybe the most ambient one) - Final Fantasy-series (Uematsu, very diverse) - Baten Kaitos (Sakuraba, has fimiliar style as Uematsu, but the structures of the songs might be more rock:ish) - KotOR 1 & 2 (well duh!) In RPG's, i would say that a good score is a must.
