Hi all, we put some changes up that should increase the length now by days instead of hours. Let us know if you're still seeing the sign-in form too often! Thanks, everyone!

Thanks, Ethics. I can confirm we're working on increasing the session timeout shortly and thank you all for your feedback over on this thread regarding the forums upgrade: We've already made some changes that were easier/less risky and working on others that we can make within the constraints of the software. Thanks again, all!

Sorry Marceror, I just didn't realize that was your thread. Fionavar and I had discussed the edit grace period several times across various patches over the years and they've just not added anything that makes this less frustrating, at least with respect to having a grace period... I definitely know what you're referring to. I'm looking around though to see if there's a mod or something but so far I haven't found anything.
-
Hi Marceror, what are you seeing exactly? The unfortunate thing is that there's not really much configuration available on the backend for post editing.

Hi guys, forgive me as I'm not a programmer on the game, but these items are granted once you run the game. If they aren't appearing, try exiting it and restarting it again after a minute or so. You might have to try this 2-3 times. Curious if everything starts to show up - then there shouldn't be anything needed on our end to make things appear. If that doesn't work though, please let us know!

Patch Notes: 1.05
The Guildmaster commented on Darren Monahan's blog entry in Pillars of Eternity Support Blog
Hi there - the fix for that is in 564+ coming soon. Thanks! -
We've added a frequently requested feature to the forums that will allow you, when browsing individual forums, to see which threads an Obsidian developer has responded in. You'll see a badge with the Obsidian logo next to the topic titles - click that badge to jump to the first post.

How do I select Steam or GoG?

Apologies - this has been changed to say "Products"! -
Hi I am not a Zombie, The folks previously are right - we don't actually run the AW forums or the AW site, but maybe we can help. Here's a couple questions: 1) What OS and browser are you using? 2) Have you tried logging on to your account on another computer by chance? 3) Are you seeing any specific error messages? If so, can you copy/paste them here? 4) What exact page are you repeatedly refreshing on? You can copy the URL from the Address Bar of your browser. 5) Do you use any browser addons? If so, what are they? 6) What anti-virus software do you have running on your machine? (Sometimes these interfere with your browsing to help protect you.)

Can you tell now what editions will be offered for pre-order ? I am interested in physical collectors edition and so it¨s quite urgent question if I should pledge right now to not lose chance to get collectors edition or I can wait for pre-order version. Thank you in advance Unfortunately, no. Paradox will be taking things from here for the retail launch, and they'll announce (which we'll link to) what those will be, what they'll come with, etc., but that info's sadly not available yet.

Obsidian to partner with Paizo Inc. to release electronic Pathfinder games INDIANAPOLIS -- August 13, 2014 -- Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: the Stick of Truth and the Kickstarter phenomenon Pillars of Eternity, announced that they have entered into a long-term licensing partnership with Paizo Inc. to produce electronic games based on its popular Pathfinder Roleplaying Game intellectual property. Obsidian's first licensed product will be a tablet game based on the highly successful Pathfinder Adventure Card game, a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players. Players each have a unique character composed of a deck of cards and a set of stats. Characters have classes such as fighter, rogue, wizard and cleric, as well as numbers that define attributes such as strength, wisdom and charisma etc. Players will be able to customize their deck to better suit each individual’s vision of their character. "At Obsidian we have a long history of working with the greatest RPG franchises, and we're thrilled to get to play in the Pathfinder universe now," said CEO Feargus Urquhart. "We're huge fans and can't wait to bring what we do in the electronic gaming world to Pathfinder fans everywhere". In the world of Pathfinder, players take on the role of brave adventurers fighting to survive in a world beset by magic and evil. The Pathfinder RPG is currently translated into multiple languages, with hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. The Pathfinder brand has also been licensed for comic book series, graphic novels, miniatures, plush toys, apparel, and is being developed into a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. "Obsidian is a video game developer at the top of its game", said Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens. "Being able to bring that type of experience and passion to Pathfinder can only mean great things, both for our loyal Pathfinder community and for all fans of great CRPG's." Obsidian will be at Gen Con 2014 showing off an early prototype of the digital Pathfinder Adventure Card Game in the Paizo booth (#203) and in their own booth (#2151) featuring the first consumer hands on for Pillars of Eternity. The Guildmaster replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News

Update #69: Pillars of Eternity
The Guildmaster replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Doesn't matter. I put a different e-mail. The linking of e-mails is to get the correct tier from their database AFAIK. Yep, that's correct - if you had separate e-mail addresses used to pledge previously, we just use it to fetch and associate the pledge to your account. It's not used or needed otherwise.- 488 replies

Update #69: Pillars of Eternity
The Guildmaster replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
If it's not showing you what you'd ideally like to do because of multiple pledges, yeah, you'll need to contact support so they can change one of your pledges to get into the right upgrade path. You can do automatically if you have a 'Needs More Info' link on any of your pledges. If not, just contact them at support@obsidian.net or via the contact form.- 488 replies

Using the 'image' button in the editor? Have a specific URL where that's failing? Just tried a few images in IE 11 and it was working for me:
-
Thanks LC - I think their 'fix' is more of a hack, it just causes IE11 to emulate IE10 than to actually solve the problem. The editor that this software uses wasn't compatible with IE11 and the forum authors aren't upgrading to the new version until their next big version, but at least this should return functionality. There's no sexy IE11 features being used on the forums anyway.

Quoting myself, bolding and italics. Also pasting a sentence from above: No bold text, no color text, no italics, quotes, images etc
