  1. Not much point in building a base perimeter if they just spawn right next to you. Please increase the spawn distance so they are coming to the base, not inside the walls.
  2. This was a really helpful post, thanks for the write up. its exactly the information I was looking for, I'm looking forward to trying these builds out The trickster subclass does look great, thanks you replying! Looks like a really strong option, also from a dps contribution side
  3. I would love to see a way to customize buggies so me and my friend's buggies don't look exactly the same. Whether it be as simple as armor/saddle dyes or just small things to differentiate them. It would also be cool to have the ability to use extra buggies as "guard dogs" where when the base or players get attacked, buggies will exit the nest to provide help.
  4. Would be awesome to be able to cook in the fireplace like the campfire.
  5. The construction system is currently very neglected... To improve the quality outside of the story and to ensure more sustainable long-term enjoyment, this should be supplemented with a careful patch. At the very least, it should match its predecessor — ideally, of course, it should improve upon it. My List: Every wall panel adjustable at 45° (Not just the big panels) ¼ Stairs ½ Railing for stairs ¼ Floor triangles Change the Repair-Omni-Tool back to a craft item or any other solution. (Its horrible to see permanent damaged building parts). My community and I have already invested a great deal of time in both Grounded 1 and Grounded 2. These changes would significantly improve the overall quality of the game. Thank you for your great work !!! 😁
  6. The entire idea of being shrunk down is always a fascinating concept, especially when a whole game is built around it. I feel like this idea often gets overlooked or underutilized. One thing that could elevate the atmosphere is the addition of large-scale events or visuals that remind the player just how small they really are. For example, I think there should be an event where something massive appears in the distance, not necessarily destructive, but just there to set the scale. A great reference for this is how Dune handled the sandworm: something so huge and grounded in the world that its mere presence creates awe and tension. Grounded did this brilliantly with the crow in the first game. I’d love to see this concept expanded even further, perhaps a person walking by, or a pet exploring the far side of the yard, just visible in the distance. Whether or not the player can interact with them doesn’t matter; the sense of scale is what matters. Another environmental take could be a storm rolling in far away, thunder rumbling and trees swaying. Or even better, something underground stirring like dirt subtly shifting, hearing distant tremors, feeling the tension of something immense moving just out of view. Not an enemy or boss, just something alive and massive, reminding you how small you really are.
  7. The mere act of casting votes is certainly not of itself a good thing. If there's no real choice it simply acts to grant legitimacy which hasn't actually been earned, which is of course why a lot of authoritarian countries still hold elections. If you look at the last US Presidential election, which Trump won handily, the proportions were: Harris ~31% Trump ~32% Didn't Vote ~36% ie ~2/3 of people in the US didn't vote for its President, and more than 1/3 either didn't like either candidate enough to vote for them nor dislike a candidate enough to vote against them. Not exactly healthy. (Really, the Roman Republic model was an awful one to choose if you wanted proper (little d) democracy since it started breaking down as soon as Rome stopped being a regional power; and along similar lines as you see in the US. Probably better than Athenian Big D Democracy at least though; nothing quite as unique in history as stampeding voters into voting to execute all your- victorious- admirals, rejecting peace and then losing the war spectacularly a year later)
