  1. You sound a bit like me. Did you use powershell to de-bloat it/get rid of all those stupid MS apps/programs, too? I updated the main "version" of W10 once, when a game demanded it. Haven't bothered since. Still works fine. At some point a game will demand something re: Win11, even if it's "only" version DX142.75 or some MS Visual C++ version or something similar. But until then.

  2. City of Springs A reasonable and relatable protagonist is welcome to see. I think the game's been out before the 2024 GE. The combat. It did not happen often, but I stopped trying to jump out of bounds. Why? An ending spoiler. At that point, I laughed for a few minutes.

  3. I understand why people want romance in video games.. However, I've never been a fan of how romance is handled in most video games, especially RPG's. It's always extremely lame, takes minimal dialogue and effort and the main objective is usually just to get them in bed. There's then sometimes some idiotic reward for doing so and the relationship is never brought up again. It's just so stupid. Unless the developers are going to put real time and effort into an in-game romance, then there's no reason for it. And if a players imagination is good enough to find actual substance in past lame RPG' romances, they shouldn't need any prompting or hints of romance to create one themselves in any RPG. Just let your imagination go wild, create your own romance stories and dont' worry about there being no dialogue in the game for it. I mean, there are beloved companions from past games that seriously have no substance or backstory whatsoever, people just love the characters because of what they created in their head while running around with that character for 60 hours.

  4. Yeah heard about that. Although I also saw some ppl posting new workarounds already. I don't really care much re: having to account register for the initial install permission or something but always having to login/online to that account for everything Windows related would suck gopher butt. I made a MS account re: Win10 but I honestly don't recall what I had to do with it. I know I used it once and haven't "logged" into it since, for anything, including the once or twice when I did Windows updates. I'm not sure I even know what my MS account is at this point. It helps I never use/never even clicked once on any MS specific programs/apps (gamepass, edge, store, etc). I figure for me it'll be like Win7 to Win10 - I'll use Win10 for 2-3 more years and then have to decide what I'm doing when building a new PC. I still don't think LInux would be my thing, but I feel more and more like I don't have a choice. Maybe I'll convert old PC to Linux for certain stuff, use Win11 NASA pc for gaming stuff only. Edit: heck I still have my old Win7 PC. Maybe I'll just go back to that/old programs/games and stay offline forever *echo-voice* and ever and ever and ever. Edit: the one nice thing about being older right now is I won't have to live as long with all this AI/own-nothiing brave new world. 2nd Edit: also, I'm still Crabby. Life is kind of sucky right now. Oh well.
