  2. Today
  3. My husband and I played without big problems on PC. Some freezes and crashes on my side, he is the host without any problems. Suddenly today his game crashed and now he couln't host or join any multiplayer session: "There was an error connecting to the multiplayer service. Please check your connection an try again." We tried every solution from the internet - nothing worked. Unfortunately he also can't play Grounded 1 in MP since this problem occurs. I hope there will be a hotfix for this problem asap, because now we can't even play Grounded 1 together.
  4. well not really because if you have a bow out you cant use the buggy attack, the buggy attack is effectively an unarmed attack
  5. The first imagery that came to mind was a flatbed trailer that we would position the items on top of. I feel like that might be a nightmare to code for though as you’d have all these various sized items trying to move over/through the terrain. You could have the grass and whatnot ignore them while they’re on the trailer, but that would look weird. And if you were going through an area that had something above you the collision would be… interesting. If the trailer that we built acted like an extremely large chest that furniture and production items could be placed in that would be pretty neat and there wouldn’t need to be code for how those random furniture pieces would or would not interact with the things we encountered as we moved. Only the trailer itself would have to be accounted for. I think the buggy speed would have to be decreased while using it. Maybe even require two buggies to pull the trailer or a more robust mount. We would still run into enemies though so the trailer would have a health bar and if it was depleted all your stuff would fall out, but not be instantly destroyed as that is just too harsh. Something like a backpack could appear. The trailer would be repairable up until the destruction point so if you managed to fight off your enemies, you could just repair it. If it was destroyed, but you lived through the fight you would have to make another trailer or transport the stuff the old-fashioned way. (Or reload your save, whatever way you want to play.) We could have a couple versions of trailers. Maybe one meant to carry multiple pallets. Maybe stronger trailers that have a larger health bar. Maybe a smaller trailer that can’t hold as much but most faster. Perhaps a trailer meant for actual building pieces so you could truly move your entire base instead of having to destroy pieces of it to get back resources to be build elsewhere. The third person camera would have to back out a little bit I think and the first person camera… well we’ll have our usual issues or lack there of.
  6. I had this and a quick save load fixed it for me
  7. Danielle Spencer
  8. This issue keeps popping up on multiple threads so I think they will adjust it in future updates. The only finicky part about the fix is allowing you to get close enough to the buggy to mount it, but not allowing the buggy to get/stay that close to you. If you increase the range at which you can mount the buggy, then you risk that triggering when you don’t want it to. Perhaps there can be a slight delay when you move into mounting range before the code to make the buggy get out of the way triggers.
  9. One thing I'd like to see come to this game are Sweat Bees. Sweat Bees can sting though not painful feels like a small nibble and they like to drink sweat for the minerals in it. They could be added as a passive mob to the game and then when you start running or get low on water they attack you for your sweat.
  10. https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/13/middleeast/israel-in-talks-to-resettle-palestinians-from-gaza-in-south-sudan-ap-intl South Sudan denies it, but who knows. They'd get away with it, too
  11. When a foundation is placed. Plant life should not be able to grow through it.
  12. Switching between screens ; items should be in same spot. Not in middle of inventory. Looking at only buggy inventory the items are on bottom. But looking at buggy inventory while i am in my inventory screen. Items are in the middle
  13. I agree with increasing the following distance. I don't know how many times I have tried to cut down things, or pick up stuff and I am suddenly riding my buggy.
  14. (Spoilers) I have progressed through the story "so far"... and the raids have stopped for me... I thought I would like that.. but I kinda miss them cause it adds a little excitement from gathering supplies and building bases that I may or may not use depending on how the new content is added.
  15. Crashing when making items and when switching between menus quickly
  17. First of all, thank you for all the work you’ve put into the game so far. I’ve been having a great time playing and exploring everything it currently has to offer. Since I really enjoy it, I wanted to share some constructive feedback from my ~55 hours of play to hopefully help improve the Early Access experience even more. Balancing End boss: Feels too easy because you get a lot of healing items right before the fight. Environmental effects: Heat is extremely punishing (coal area kills in ~3s) while cold is barely dangerous. Few ways to protect against heat. Trinkets: Power levels vary a lot – some are very strong, others barely worth using. Weapons: Robot Arm (hammer) – huge damage, AoE, and fast stun. Daggers – can one-shot almost everything except mantis/wolf spider. Mosquito Needle – combined with good armor, you’re almost immortal. Ranged weapons – slow, low damage, no block option. Fists/daggers – hitbox too small, tiny bugs are hard to hit. Gameplay Spider riding & fall damage: Sometimes you take far more damage than expected, even from small drops, leading to instant death. Plants in bases: Trees and pine needles often grow inside structures. An option to disable plant spawns in built areas would help. Bee loot: Bees drop very little fuzz, slowing progress. Resource scanner: Often points to materials already collected or that don’t exist. Bugs Flying insects: Bees and butterflies can get stuck high in the air, never landing or respawning. Enemies in terrain: Some spawn inside objects or underground. They can hit you, but you can’t hit them. AI pathing: Insects often get stuck, making them easy to cheese. Infinite fall gaps: Getting stuck falling between tight gaps until using a mount. Shop: Pebble foundation recipe stays for sale even after multiple purchases. Performance After several hours of play, stutters appear when performing new actions, and occasional crashes can happen. Final note I’m really enjoying Grounded 2 and plan to keep playing. These points don’t take away from the fun, but I think fixing them would make the game even more polished and balanced. Thanks for all the hard work – I’m excited to see where it goes next.

  18. When in Brisbane, I would use SPF50 even when just going shopping for 9 out of 12 months of the year. Australia and New Zealand have some of the highest skin cancer rates in the world https://www.cancer.org.au/about-us/policy-and-advocacy/prevention/uv-radiation/related-resources/skin-cancer-incidence-and-mortality Roughly 15000 cases with 2000 deaths annually. That’s in a population of about 25 million
  19. Hey, I’m having the exact same trouble. I’ve finally managed to get rid of the egg that was being tracked but now my other markers still aren’t showing. What hot key was it that you used? I can’t figure it out
  20. When i load my game, if i was somewhere high on a leaf or something. When i load in my buggy is knocked out confused and we are on the ground. please fix so we are on the leaf still safe when loading in.
  21. While I don’t think it would be a native plant just growing in this game, it could be in a pot. It could be positioned somewhere to be problematic for the player, or it could become a plant that we could get seeds from and grow to defend bases.
  22. Is it just me, anybody else? When I dismount my ant in caves or under branches, if it is not enough room above me, I'm stuck in the ceiling or whatever. I couldn't find a way to unstuck but to give up. If it was too difficult to solve this collision problem, why not at least add an unstuck option in the menu, like other games do?
  23. Maybe a Venus flytrap would be cool in grounded
  24. Fixed (2025). About what you would expect from the trailer. Basic smut comedy that gets a few laughs out of you.
  25. So I was thinking with the whole omni tool stuff and tiers maybe with buggies we could get Omni fangs or Omni pincers or even just be able to upgrade buggies to make it easier to gather resources. And maybe just be able to customize their saddles more. Also with customizing I think it would be neat to add more customizing to the game like little tags for character specific things like the shield could have different doodles and such.
  26. Fighter seems to be mostly focussed on getting aggro and tanking. I really like the spear and I would like to play offensive spear, like the daggers, in a way. So either the existing armors have multiple effects depending on the weapon or some extra armors in the same tiers, same ish materials but different effects? Like something related to spear throwing (spear comes back to hand? spear stacks for better throwing ammo?) or keeping distance or getting the combo's or using it 2-handed for increase in damage but less defense/block or whatever is possible. Hell, this shouldn't be constrained to just spear, all types of weapons could use it, like the swords and clubs. Make something separate for more offensive play. Hell, I think even the other weapon types could benefit from something similar. While that would clutter the ui, a sorting or filter option would work wonders for that. This is inspired by a video of the content creator but I totally agree. It would be cool to see something like this, for more build variety or something similar. Game is fun so far, keep up the good work, I'd say.
