The drying rack could be set up to work more like the spinning wheel, grinder or the cookery. All of those items are able to pull from nearby chests without it being a big deal.

Can we bring back the ability to permanently remove grass, it keeps growing into my bases, also maybe let us use the grass seeds to grow back stems directly in the ground. We could use the shovel to help us plant them and a canteen full of water to start the stem, 48 in game hours later maybe a certain radius grows grass. With the teens being a little older maybe we can improve their engineering knowledge? I’d love it if we could build some tree house style elevators using a pulley system. Or if that’s not possible maybe just give us access to the schematics for the elevators used inside of labs already. fire poles and slides would be another really cool edition, getting out of my bases top floor I usually just jump over the railing and risk the fall damage, but if I could slide down a slide or a fire pole from the top floor that’d be absolutely epic. id also love to build inside the biomes a little bit, maybe you could incorporate insulated floors, walls, and ceilings with chill/sizzle resistance using candy shards, everchar charcoals, and icicles? Once the building grid improvement comes along you could establish necessary barriers to avoid letting us get too crazy with it, might be a little too unrealistic to build a base inside of the actual fire pit after all. i know it’s a long read so if you made it this far, thanks for taking the time!

The All Things Political Topic - What's Going On...?
BruceVC replied to Lexx's topic in Way Off-Topic
Oh yes, the Houthis There random bombing of cargo ships in the Red Sea has made a huge difference to Israel's imprudent military strategy since 7 October Maybe the Houthis should join BRICS, that will definitely be more significant -

90% of the mobs in the end level fell out od the world. The last roach i killed by seeing a foot because he glitched in to a wall. The last boss did the same tieh the spider. Yes i could kill them but in a wall. The last spider jumped and in to a wall and it was just there. it died like the rooach out of my reach. I could hit it since i saw legs and sometime heads

i understand what your saying but that's kinda more effort than ease, imagine you have 10 storage chests, each one full of perfectly sorted resources, you would have a very difficult time looking through them just to put 3 items on the rack, or even if you could sort by chest, saya drop down menu, still difficult, most people don't name chests. its actually easier to have the items in your inventory and add them

There should be a weekly supply drop and you habe to fight for it.

suggestions/ideas More traps and depth
Raven Scar replied to Sorumeito's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
i like the DnD aspect. But what if you, the player, needs to run a gauntlet, like the maze on the picnic table in G1, just larger, harder and darker, more enemies, a bunch of different traps. The reward; a disc, allowing you to build the traps -
crickets are coming, along with earwigs in the winter update. Look at the Roadmap, its on there

there are 2 everchar coals sat around the outside of the firepit, from the right angle you can harvest them without sizzling. If you want to get inside, Sizzle protection armour and anti-sizzle smoothies, Mintito i think it is

Fresh start/wipe after major update ?
Raven Scar replied to necrofil's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
i remember that, it made me laugh. There are, just like G2, areas that are safe to build, easy to find. But yh it will need fresh starts but unlike G1 EA, you can't go out of bounds the normal way, this makes me think the current area won't have drastic changes -
Mosquitos And blue butterflys

Butterflies are Neutral, so will attack if provoked. -
There is a valid reason for the tree, thats due to some memory reason, basically having a massive hitbox encompassing the entire tree will use a substantial amount of memory, so have it part way up, 99.9% of players won't build that high. As for the bee, yes it lands on a branch but the hitbox there is floating, G1 is exactly the same with the Oak TL:DR, its a memory thing

To start, I have a shared world with my friend. We've beaten phase 1 and have two bases now. At this point it's safe to assume we have all or most of the items available at this stage in the game. We've bought all the upgrades in the outposts but for some reason I can't make any reinforced walls or floors. I can't make a basketball or hoop. Im sure there are other things I can't make but I'd have no idea what they are because I've never seen them. Maybe I've missed something? He's bought some of the upgrades himself so maybe they're unlocked for him but not me. I have most of, if not every resource scanned too. Another thing, I've had unintentional "God Mode" for a while. It was funny at first but now it feels cheesy. I can't take damage but my friend can. When I go to revive him and a bug attacks me it's like they can't reach my hit box. I think it started after loading an old save after reaching the final boss and realizing we weren't ready yet. Ever since that point I've had God Mode. And now it's too late for me to just go back to an old save since it's a shared world. He's played without me making his own progress and I don't want to undo that for both of us. I'm not 100% sure if the unlockables are glitched or if I'm doing something wrong. If anyone has an idea on how to fix it I'd really appreciate it.

Trying to build a base and I am limited to where I can put things due to the lumps of dirt that act as the terrain. I feel like parts should not be restricted by this as i have had to destroy part of my palisade just to put my spider nest down, even the new layout is fiddly because of those dirt lumps

Once I have completed the King Arthur DLC I was left with an exciting choice, which game to play next and my 3 choices were BG3, Cyb2077 and Fallout 4 (replay ) I decided on Fallout 4. I played it first in 2018 but I never completed it after 280 hours because I was new to Mod Managers and I was using Vortex and I loaded certain mods midgame without following the recommended way you install mods and it broke the game And back then I didnt have any experience in mod manager troubleshooting so I just quit Now Im using MO2 and I want to use a Mod Collection from Wabbajack It will be the first time Im using Wabbajack as a mass mod deployment tool and I see there are about 5-6 recommended mod collections I am leaning towards this one and I used YT to get a good idea of what mod collections are popular Life in the Ruins https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/62971

Just confirmed the stair method. i just finished the mission. i built up to it and had to get super close to the bee because there was an invisible forcefield. it was stuck flying high kinda aiming towards the lamp.after i shot it it attacked me and was able lure him to ground level and kill it. did this with two others and it took a while but its possible.

Danny Campbell started following Disappearing Weed Stem
-
Has anybody else noticed that weed stem disappears after being cut down? Sometimes I’ll go on a weed stem run and cut down 4/5 dandelions and only get 6 stem from it. I’ve also noticed it with the husky weed but less commonly. is there a fix that anyone has found for this or are the developers aware of this problem? thank you in advance to anyone who responds.
