Nights are much darker than Grounded 1
Zsword replied to Vixen525's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
While the firefly headlamp was great, I would like an option of a light trinket too, so that I don't have to give up head armor defense to hold a shield in dark areas, especially if this game is going to scale up past tier 3. (though the only time I found a lightsource necessary for combat in the first game was termites, since they don't have eyes to glow and give me tells.) -

I'm seeing the same as above. I tried Game Pass version, Steam version, Xcloud version, all report the same error message. My wife who plays on the same Xbox as I does not have this issue. The newest update did not fix this issue. I highly suggest that if you're having this issue and haven't posted here, to do so. This isn't getting enough attention at Obsidian to be considered a high priority issue as of 8/9.

Mild stress = too much tv as a distraction. I'd use a game but nothing interests me/not in a game mood I guess. Today was a day I wouldn't have minded just sitting in the backyard to relax, but it's one of those really hot days (104F or so), plus the neighbors are blasting music. So instead I'm looking at 3d printing pens on Amazon. They're cheaper than I thought they would be, on average. Course I'd need lots of the plastic filament rolls. And a metal heat chisel thing for smoothing. I have a feeling if I tried it, all I would make is a lot of small black cats to sit all over my desk/PC. >.>

The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!
LadyCrimson replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Way Off-Topic
^ I've already half-forgotten what Twinkling Watermelon was about. Watched other things, and now am trying The Winning Try. Looks like a late-highschool sports kdrama. Disgraced sports guy coaches rugy team. The coach is an actor I really liked in a kdrama called Chocolate. This coach chr is initially so different (comical vs. dramatic) I had to go back to Chocolate briefly to be sure it was the same actor, lol. Anyway, only saw 1 episode so far. Has potential, we'll see. -
Good evening! I am absolutely loving Grounded 2 and I am super excited to see what is to come in the future. I ran into a bug today. Whenever I hop off of my ant buggy, my camera POV shifts to the left, so I am looking at the side of Pete's head. I am playing in first person view as well, and it happened right after I killed some orc Weevils right next to the Grass Games MIX.R. I killed all the weevils, except for one which blew up (Which is what may have caused it), with my ant buggy. And when I went to hop off to look at the MIX.R that is when my camera POV became all messed up. When I reloaded my save, it fixed my issue, but I figured it would still be good to report the issue.

Memory Leak
High Viking replied to Frank G Bowling's topic in Grounded 2: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I've had a similar issue. I remapped my dodge to "left alt" and my crouch to "left Ctrl" and sometimes when I load in my dodge won't work, but will still be tied to the key I told it to be tied to -
I'm big hoping flying buggys are a planned end game unlock that includes a lot of the early and mid game options too, like Bees, Mosquitos, and the new butterflies, eventually escalating to include Wasps, Moths, and yes, definitely dragonflies as a new face. Especially if we have a proper full sized park pond to navigate around, dragonflies would make a great danger for fliers trying to skip the water.

I have heard word about crickets being added and I would love it if we could get a cricket buggy that could jump to hard to reach places. -
Unable to exit menu/inventory

I'll give it a whirl, thanks for the suggestion! -
Loving the new Grounded 2, quick suggestion and I'm sure it's been brought up numerous times, but could you bring rideable dragonflies to game. Would make for a great way to get around the soon to be big map. Maybe a variation of dragonfly armour that allows you to glide also or slow fall similar to a tuft. Thanks for the great games over the years.

Roly Poly buggies should be added into the game with a unique movement functionality to set it apart from the other buggies. The buggy will be able to be ridden when its rolled up and when its crawling around like normal. Once its rolled up it uses momentum to move and deal damage. Build pieces can be used as ramps to gain speed for the buggy while its rolling, and if it rolls off of a ramp it can be launched high up and doesn't take fall damage in this state. The buggies momentum can also deal damage to bugs based on the speed it is moving.

Bug Issues and Suggestions
Raven Scar replied to Kqrin's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
the water droplets can be collected, just fiddly to jump, use the Weavers intimidate to drop it. Also camel spider is a great suggestion, but they live in hot arid desert climates and personally i don't want to be sunning it up in the playground only to hear that infernal screech at the spider boiling alive. Black Widow needs to make a return, she is a must, maybe in the Community Garden area, you're walking through, collecting mushrooms, and she leaps at you from on high lol -
Wouldn't It Be Nice If...
Raven Scar replied to garbagepukestupidname's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
the slow descend bungie web sounds amazing and could work, not sure the button on pc but the RB on controller shoots a web if tapped, maybe we would need to hold it to shoot a web line, and descend that way. As for Weaver immunity, wouldn't be realistic, those buggers fight all the time, territorial as hell from what I've seen in the garden where i used to live -

Raven Scar replied to Vixen525's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
it's highly likely fireflies will return so with that the headlamp should return as well, not sure on when -
Slight spoiler, you can get it still, the roach, Major Beserker, is a roach queen, that trinket is a roach queen drop, guaranteed Major Beserker, but i know of 2 more queens that have a chance to drop it, Toxic Anthill, and right up on top of the Firepit

Further storage distance access
Raven Scar replied to Staidlightning's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
if your building a replica of the Palace of Versailles (analogy for insanely huge like peeps do) then having a Build from Storage Distance option in the Custom Game Settings menu, when it comes, would be great for builders, maybe have the G1 original 20cm, the G2 standard 40cm, then have say larger at 80cm, then extreme at 160cm, then infinite. Honestly I feel a setting like this would appease everyone -
Presumably, any 'security guarantees' now would be more robust than the 'security assurances' given then. But, one of the main reasons there's unlikely to be an agreement is because a truce/ peace interlude will massively favour Ukraine. Their current replacements in pretty much every category are below required/ desired level. That's thirty days of stockpiling artillery rounds, drones, patriot/ irisT etc interceptors and thirty days of digging and improving defences; plus thirty days of training for new recruits and thirty days of getting those new recruits. Hence Ukraine's insistence on an unconditional ceasefire. If their artillery supplies are, say, 50% what they want then a 30 day pause gives them 15 full days supply, and they can get it to the front without fear of interdiction. Budapest memorandum was flagrantly violated by everyone. Can't really say that the US and UK isn't interfering in Belarus' internal politics or using economic coercion on it, for example, and didn't do the same for Ukraine when it had leaders they didn't like. Though of course that's a special and unique case since it's us doing it of helping the Ukrainian/Belarussian people, and thus not an abrogation... For that matter Minsk I/II was violated by both parties as well.
